The lodge was stunning, beautifully decorated and furnished, lots of space. The kitchen was lovely to use and the lounge area very comfy. The porch area was well furnished with a choice of seating areas. A lovely place to stay.

Loved our stay in Judy’s place. We made last min plans for our York break. The comms were prompt and very clear. The house itself is private & yet just 20-25 mins to drive into York. We could reach all local attractions quite easily. The rooms are tastefully done & my family enjoyed our stay. The welcome cookies & bottle of milk is highly appreciated. On the last day my kids got to play with their friendly family dog which they will surely cherish for a long time . Totally recommend Judy’s house & we will surely return.

Stunning location, incredible walks both from the house and short drives away. House was cosy and warm and the underfloor heating was lovely to come home to.

Woodview cottage is located on a working farm, amidst open fields and woods which are host to birds and wildlife. There are lots of opportunities to walk, and you would be sure to see hare and pheasant on your rambles. I counted close to 20 species of birds in the woodland. The peace and quiet was wonderful, as was the opportunity to observe the workings of the farm. The cottage was well appointed and warm. Jane and her family were amazing hosts. Highly recommended for guests looking for a taste of authentic country life in the UK.

Comfortable stay in beautiful barn in lovely location Barn was perfect for our weekend break. Well equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Beds are large and very comfortable both with powerful showers. Great pub just over the green too.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay here. Absolutely nothing to complain about! Spot on and such a beautiful home. On arrival you even get a bottle of Prosecco. There’s little essentials already given to you like coffee, ice, towels, shampoo etc. I loved the stay and I 100% recommend if you are looking for a quiet break and stay. Our favourite was the luxury hot tub:)

We stayed there for 2 nights to explore Lake District , it was great stay , Anna was quick on all query and place was so clean and spotless , my 4 year son loved the place , very peaceful and easy to access , highly recommended

Stayed here for my girlfriends 40th. Host was very helpful and even decorated the lodge with banners, balloons and chocolates. cleanliness was spot on and everything is very modern. Can't say a bad word about the place.

Family friendly caravan on a lovely peaceful site in the countryside next to the beach - lots to do close by Comfy beds with quality bedding - thick pillows, soft duvets and lots of extra blankets if needed Soft towels provided and lots of spares available if needed Strong WiFi in the caravan and simple to use heating system Lovely to have a king sized bed rather than the standard double you usually get in caravans Very clean and homely with plenty of amenities such as toilet rolls, washing up liquid, tea bags, board games, child bed rail etc Welcome hamper upon arrival of biscuits and jam which was greatly appreciated Spacious bath which was a luxury, especially with young children Caravan is at the end of the site so feels private and tucked away, large decking area and nice outdoor seating Popas bar is at the entrance to the site, reasonably priced food and drinks and great to sit outside on a warm day/evening Hope to return in the summer!

Lovely place - it had everything we needed and the location was beautiful. It took us a little while to find the lodge but that was mostly down to my inability to read the map of the park! Exactly as pictured, we will definitely look to return on our next trip to the Lakes x

Anita is a great host! Responsive and so helpful! We had a lovely stay and there is so much to do just short drives from the caravan! The caravan itself is so spacious, clean and you feel so at home the moment you step inside. It was lovely and quiet on the park too :) overall a great stay we would love to return!

Great stay at Jane’s place - the only downside was the living room heater was not working efficiently when we arrived and the fire took a long time to get to heat - other than that we had a lovely stay. The bedrooms may not suit friends as they are interconnecting but should be good for families. Jane was brilliant and very communicative and helpful when required. All in all a great stay

We had a lovely peaceful break at Apple Tree Cottage. Anna and Giles provided very clear directions so it was easy to find. The surroundings were beautiful and the cottage felt remote and peaceful, but we were only a short drive from lots of great walks and interesting things to see and do. The cottage itself is modern, cosy, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.

Pickle Pot loft is a real gem of an air B&B in Hawkshead, it is tucked away above the relish shop. A great space, which is modern and welcoming. The central location and ease of parking in the local car park meant we could forget about the car and enjoy the local amenities. Walks from the doorstep and lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. Sadly the Queens Head pub was not as welcoming as we have previously found, they shut early on Friday night rushing everyone out. This experience led to us to change our evening booking on the Saturday to the Poppi Red Bistro and Bar where the welcome was warm and friendly and the food was fantastic, great value for money and would highly recommend. We hope to return to the Pickle Pot Loft again. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Really enjoyed our two night stay. The apartment was in an excellent location - eight in the doorstep of the market place near to pubs, cafes and parking. It was handy to have the long stay car park ticket to use whilst we were there - saves us a few pounds I am sure! The apartment was warm, cosy and felt like home from home. Bed linen and towels were fresh smelling and super clean. Having added extras like an air fryer and tea towels etc were super handy and appreciated. Thank you to Christine for a lovely stay.

Excellent space for exploring the area. Pictures don’t do the house justice :) Local pub very close by :) and Caroline was excellent at getting in touch to answer any queries etc.

I would highly recommend the stay the best place you'll find quite and secure. The place has all amenities required furthermore the host is brilliant the house has everything needed for the stay would highly recommend and vist again

My second time at this property. It's perfect for a little get away with the girls or couples. A beautiful home with lots of space & entertainment within the house. This property is always my go to for a small group getaway

We really enoyed our few nights at The Old Stables. Spotlessly clean and quality furnishings. Thanks for the homemade jam & marmalade. Hope to come back in the summer to sit in the conservatory.
