When I searched for a place close to Hocking Hills State Park, this was right in the middle of it all! It was a beautiful place and super clean. The hot tub was a nice addition after the days of hiking! I would 100% stay here again!

This was our second stay at Verde Grove Cabins (we stayed in Sycamore around Thanksgiving). We enjoyed the view out the kitchen windows of Oink (dense forest). Loved the hot tub and was able to cook all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. Old Man’s Cave wasn’t too far away for a nice family outing. Planning to visit again in the fall!

We really loved this place! We were looking for something outside of cities just as a getaway spot as we were going to the Mothman Festival, and we couldn't stop talking about how much we loved it there. Ruth and her husband were incredibly kind and responsive to things, despite having almost no issues (only thing was a dead door battery but that's not their fault.) Highly recommend, and we plan to be back!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect—just a short drive to some of the best hiking spots like Old Man’s Cave and Ash Cave. One of the biggest highlights was the winery next door. They actually opened on their day off just for us, and we got to enjoy a private tasting! The wine was fantastic, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. After a day of hiking, the fire pit was the perfect place to unwind. Plenty of seating, lots of wood provided, and a peaceful setting made it the ultimate spot to relax. If you’re traveling with kids, this place is a great choice. There was lots of space to run around, and our little ones loved making s’mores by the fire. Overall, this cabin had everything—great location, awesome hospitality, and a super chill vibe. Whether you’re here for the hiking, the wine, or just a peaceful getaway, this spot is a winner. We’ll definitely be back!

Really great place to stay. Was exactly what we needed. It was nice to soak in the hot tub after long days of hiking! Would absolutely stay again.

The cabin was beautiful and very cozy, perfect for some nice Rest and relaxation. It was very secluded, quiet and great for a small family to reconnect. Overall would happily stay again!

This was a great get away for me and my kids!! The location is perfectly secluded and makes you feel right at home. The house is even more beautiful in person! We all had a great time in the hot tub as well!!

My husband, 3 children and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen is a wonderful, gracious host and truly goes above and beyond. She stopped by and made sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions we had! She made sure the kids had plenty of toys/books and even left them some snacks, making sure what we allowed our children to have first. It was a no screen weekend for us, and no cell signal made it all the better!! We hiked around her stunning property, watched the sunset over the icy pond, built a few fires and cooked dinner over them each night. We cannot wait to come back this summer! We made a weekend filled with core memories for our kiddos and wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much Karen, can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Mara‘s cabin was wonderful! The cabin is extremely dog friendly. She has so many nice touches, including dog bowls, dog beds, dog treats, and so many toys. Our dogs were so happy. She had lots of great recommendations for hikes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit and watching the beautiful stars. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the porch swing . It was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We highly recommend!

Grace was a fabulous host! She has a beautiful place! Fully stocked in ways you wouldn’t expect! Clean area, lots of extra blankets! Clear instructions, organized, lots of games! Hot tub was wonderful especially with all of the solar lights! It was such a pleasurable stay! Our dogs loved it as well! We will definitely stay again!

We have 3 kids - ages 9, 7 and 5, they LOVED staying here and did not want to leave. We loved the surroundings, did puzzles they had available as a family! The morning farm chores and tour was a highlight of the trip. We are made delicious eggs right from the farm for breakfast! The hosts were so friendly, down to earth and fun to talk with. I will be recommending this to friends!

Our kids are well traveled -we have stayed many places and they say that the Farmhouse on Barton is one of their favorite places they have ever stayed. The house is situated in a beautiful peaceful setting- close proximity to everything in Hocking Hills -we had amazing pizza from Pizza Crossing, spent 5 days hiking and having a blast at the farmhouse playing board games and sitting on the covered porch! You will love every minute- it’s a gem!

Laura’s cabin in Hocking hills was lovely. Clean with great views of the woods. The hot tub was nice and relaxing and was clean. Laura was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to texts. A great weekend getaway!

What a place! So hard to find something that adults, kids, and dogs are happy at. They've added so much personal touch, it's impossible not to feel relaxed and comfortable here. Two extremely minor things- write down or screen shot the code for the door before you exit the highway as there is no service! Once inside, there is wifi but it's not good for streaming or anything similar. And two, pack your own tumblers, everything here is glass (for the hot tub of course!)

We'd definitely recommend this cabin to families looking to stay in Hocking Hills! This was a great space for 2 families including a dog :) Pam was very thoughtful to include gift cards for a local coffee shop, some treats and even dog bowls for our dog. The location was very peaceful, clean and quiet. Pam responded to any questions we had and was a great host.

We had a great weekend at the cabin! Even though it was cold outside the cabin was warm and cozy. We loved the easy access to the lake and trail and hiked several miles. Our dog Hamilton also loved the cabin and we loved that he could be included. Planning a return visit with two of our grandsons in the summer for some fishing!

We have stayed at this location the past three or four years to celebrate New Year’s, and it is the perfect spot for our group. The kids love exploring in the woods and playing in the hot tub. Very secluded and peaceful. Beth is an excellent host and so easy to work with. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and experience!

This was our third stay at this cabin and we have already booked our trip for October. Can’t wait to be back!

The Cabin was a perfect getaway for our family of 4. The kids enjoyed the area, we enjoyed disconnecting but still having access to DVDs and VHS :) the kitchen was a good size and everyone was comfortable. It was so nice to have laundry on site with young kiddos, the welcome binder was super helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable to rest in. Would definitely book again in the future!

Great stay! Close to all Public land hunting.. only downfall no WiFi but was nice to sit in the hot tub and relax. East check in and out.

I can't say enough wonderful things about The Roosevelt! My friends and I have stayed a few places in Hocking Hills, and we all agree Katie's place is our favorite! The house was beautiful, everything was absolutely pristine, it smelled so good when we walked in (some kind of candle or air freshener??), there were plenty of towels in both the bathrooms and for the hot tub, the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and we were such a short drive from all the fun things/hikes in Hocking Hills. We made use of both the hot tub and the fire pit, and we appreciated the firewood that was left for us there. We came here for my friend's bachelorette party and we has such a blast, and all said we would love to stay here again in the future.
