Our stay at Kingfisher House was a fantastic experience from start to finish. It's even better than the photos! the property is stunning – spacious, clean, and incredibly well-maintained. Muftau's communication was great! always on hand to make sure our trip went smoothly and he provided excellent recommendations. Thanks to the housekeeping staff too for ensuring the house was always clean and providing warm hospitality. If you’re looking for a luxurious and peaceful home, Kingfisher House is the perfect place to stay in Livingstone, super close to the airport and only 20 mins from Victoria Falls. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area – it’s truly a gem!

Great lovely spacious place!

It was everything and more than we could have hoped for. The pictures on Airbnb do not actually do this place justice. The house is fantastic and was easily accessible for my 80 year old father who has mobility issues, ramps everywhere. The staff were beyond helpful and very friendly. A delight from check in to check out xxx

We really enjoyed our stay with Marjolein. The house is conveniently located for travel from Lusaka airport. It is situated in the midst of a busy neighborhood, but it’s garden creates a very peaceful green space. All in all, exactly what we need from a one night layover in Lusaka.

we have a great time away in Emily's home from home. Even through plumbing, power and water issues (through no fault of Emilys) we still had a comfortable stay. The pool was a highlight and we loved spending time on the porch.

We had such an awesome time here. It felt like home. Brighton and Sandra were very easy to talk to and quick to respond. Sandra organised thorough cleaning for the entire place when ever we felt it was needed at no additional expense to us, Nyasha, who looks after the property was extremely helpful 😀, it's the simple things like helping us get our groceries inside the house or even quickly running to the shops to buy us some bread for breakfast. I mean anything we needed he was there and eager to help where he could. There was unlimited fast wifi so the kids were kept entertained. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. ps Sandra also allowed us to check out late as our flight back home was a PM flight, this meant that we were able to sleep in on the day and pack without rushing so there was no pressure. Thank you Sandra and Brighton for opening your home to us. You guys were awesome, thank you Mukoma Nyasha for looking after us the way you did ❤️. until next time 😀

Olivia was lovely & very efficient . I also loved being able to book a massage at the air B&B with a qualified therapist . Amenities would be nice in the bathroom

We had such an amazing stay definitely one of the reasons why we will be coming back to Zimbabwe among other things. There’s more to the place than you see in the pictures and we were wowed by how clean and beautiful the space was. You could stay indoors your entire time only to realize you’re missing outside experience if it’s your first time in Harare. I hig I highly recommend

This was one of my best findings so far as an outdoor person. I really enjoyed the area and will fully make use of my booking next time. It was a little bit of a walking distance from the road if you are using public transport but we didn’t mind as this was somewhat a spontaneous adventure. It felt peaceful, the community was really helpful since we arrived in the night and soaked by the rain. Staff was really hands on when we arrived, she made us feel warm practically, had such a lovely personality and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be returning for a longer break! Views were absolutely breathtaking

I absolutely loved my stay at Gayle’s place! I had just moved to Harare and Gayle was helping me in settling in wherever she could. The place is a cozy little cottage with 1 bedroom, an ensuite bathroom and an outside kitchen that has everything you need. The garden is beautiful and in a quiet environment. Fresh eggs and fresh milk for breakfast were a highlight, so were the occasional visits by little Parker (dog). Glad I found this place, thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful stay as we came up from the weekend during our medical rotation. The place was beautiful and was a relaxing getaway. The staff was very welcoming and ensured that our stay was as comfortable it could be. Definitely recommend!

My children and I spent two weeks at Perfects home which was indeed “perfect”. Rodrick came to pick us up from the airport as our flight got to Harare at 0150hrs. When we arrived we met Sizwe who showed us around the home and was there if we needed anything. There was a welcome message from the host which was a cute touch. Sizwe and Tatenda ensured that we had all we needed and answered any questions we had right up to the day we checked out. The house is clean and pristine and clutter free which is my own style of living so this felt like home. A few electricity outages as is normal in zim but we had solar back up. We had wifi throughout our stay. The home is near to shops and town and so I am 100% recommending Buffalo place. We are definitely going to stay here again on our next holiday at the end of this year.

We wanted some where secure, clean and in a peaceful area and this exactly what we got. Given the power situation in Zambia this year. The inverter did the job automatically with a need for us to do anything and there was also a gas cooker readily available for cooking purposes. I was especially pleased that the fridge/freezer and other kitchen appliances worked with the inverter as other places do not provide this . The Property Manager Mary was super responsive there was a slight problem shower head and offered to send a plumber through at our Convenience Same to other issues, Very friendly, helpful and flexible it was a good choice and if chosen would be one you would not regret. We had amazing experience and it was worth it beautiful house Thank you Emma

Josephine is a host that goes above and beyond the expectations. She has excellent communication and was flexible with us when we encountered some challenges in our travel plans. She also offered her kind support in helping us resolve those issues. The house manager and cleaning staff were also incredibly professional and proactive in remedying any challenges we had with the internet connection and electricity. They were quick to resolve these challenges and made our stay incredibly pleasant. The home itself is lovely in a nice compound. My husband, 20 month old, and I were all very comfortable calling this our home for 3 weeks. We loved walking around the area and enjoyed the quick access to shopping. It was a great location and house for my little family. I recommend if you are looking for a home stay in a quieter part of Lusaka.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! It was very comfortable, safe and within town, very convenient to main places in Lusaka. I stayed here during the time of load shedding and the hostess, Brenda was very hospitable ensuring that I had what I needed. There is a converter and solar which ensures some extended electricity time when lights are out.

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und Mary und Yusuf waren sehr zuvorkommend und gaben uns auch wertvolle tipps. Als wir Abends noch in einem Restaurant waren, hat Yusuf uns sogar abgeholt, weil es bereits dunkel war. Mary hat sich noch sorgen darum gemacht wie wir nach der Abreise in die nächste Stadt kommen und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und sich um ein Taxi gekümmert. Wunderbar für die erste Nacht in Afrika!

My stay at Margaret's place was excellent. Checking in was a breeze and the place was just as described and easy to find. The home is in a neat, secure and quiet neighborhood. Electricity was always available from both Zesa and solar, as was superfast wifi and DSTV with all the great channels. Also available was a washer and dryer for use when Zesa was available. Above all, Margaret and her team were awesome. They were friendly, helpful and very responsive and promptly took care of any issues in a timely manner. I highly recommend the place and will definitely stay there again on future trips.

A beautiful and spacious apartment with idyllic and private garden plus fully equipped kitchen, in a secure and quiet compound. The hostesses are very friendly and responsive, check-in is flexible. We stayed at this place with our family twice already and would definitely stay again if in Lusaka.
