We had a wonderful two weeks at Chalet Balu and enjoyed every moment - the peace and quiet up there is incomparable, the nature incorruptible and the winter landscape fantastically clear. The chalet is absolutely recommendable!

Wenn man aus dem Alltag entfliehen will und einfach mal die Berglandschaft genießen will, einfach perfekt. Die Wegbeschreibung und Check-In Prozedur waren super gut und wir haben das Hüttli auf anhieb gefunden. Es war super sauber und es gab alles was man braucht Vorort. Sogar eine Steckdose um seine Gadgets aufzuladen (wenn man das denn will. Wir wollten mal Ruhe haben). Wirklich toll und wir planen eine Wiederholung. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis.

Danke für ein wunderschönes Wochenende in dieser tollen Unterkunft. Wir haben es geliebt nach einem langen Schneeschuhtag alles vorzufinden was zum Kochen bzw. Frühstücken benötigt wird. Man kann auch direkt von dem sehr ruhig gelegen Haus los wandern. Ein gemütliches Sofa und eine jederzeit erreichbare Gastgeberin rundet den Aufenthalt ab. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder…

Diese Unterkunft hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Schon beim Ankommen fühlten wir uns sofort wie zuhause. Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos, perfekt ausgestattet und in einer wunderbar ruhigen Lage in den Schweizer Alpen. Besonders begeistert hat uns der gemütliche Kamin mit reichlich Holz sowie die hervorragend funktionierende Sauna – einfach perfekt zum Entspannen! Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und durchdacht, es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Great cozy chalet in the middle of a gorgeous Swiss village. Looks exactly like the photos. Very pleasant stay, had everything we needed, and very clean. Only one small bathroom which might be a bit of a squeeze for a bigger group, but for the two of us it was just fine. Extra toilet downstairs that we barely used. A bit funny not to have a road leading up to the home and needing to park a few mins away but not a big deal. Great and easy communication with host. Easy check in and check out. Would happily return! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und konnten schöne Ausflüge in der Gegend unternehmen. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, aber aufgrund der sehr schlechten Wetter Vorhersage waren Ausflüge mit unserem alten und blinden Hund nicht mehr möglich.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt mit allen Familienangehörigen von insgesamt 8 Personen. In der gesamten Wohnung inkl. Küche war Alles was es für Ferien braucht vorhanden. Super Lage mit der Bushaltestelle vor dem Haus. Sehr angenehme Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Unkompliziert und sehr nett. Herzlichen Dank für Alles.

Nicole has thought of everything and has taken care of every small detail to ensure a wonderful stay! A welcome gift of chocolates and local honey were provided and really appreciated it. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pans, utensils, drink ware and dinner ware. Paper towels, sponges, soap, cleaning supplies, spices, salt, pepper, sugar and more were all provided. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels which is something unique and very much appreciated. Nicole was responsive to every message and was even provided us with converter plugs because we forgot Switzerland has different outlets than Austria and Germany. The apartment was just as pictured with plenty of space and comfortable accommodations. The apartment is on the lower level of the house and has a terrace that opens to a lovely flat yard. We didn't hear any noise at all from the upstairs or from the road. The house is a short distance (1-2 min drive or 15 min drive) to downtown Flims. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, well stocked apartment, with mountain views. House was clean and spacious. Outdoor area was an added bonus. Just minutes from the slopes via bus which has a stop right outside the apartment. Numerous hiking trails right outside the front door. Host was extremely helpful and responsive.

Wonderful apartment in a tranquille Alpine village. Beautifully decorated, extremely clean and probably with the most well equipped kitchen I've experienced during my many years as AirBnB guests. Overall - the apartment was _very_ generously equipped (not only the kitchen) in a way few apartments are. You'll have virtually everything you need, and more. Lots of space inside, seating areas, sofas etc and a breathtaking view over the village and the surrounding Alps. The ski lift is a very short walk away, and since there was not snow in the village we walked to the lift. Not a problem at all, it's super close. There's a small but very well equipped grocery store literally 3 min walk from the apartment.  The hosts were enormously helpful and generous. There was a bottle of delicious Prosecco and a handwritten letter waiting for us. Such a nice gesture - we felt instantly at home.  I'm giving this apartment my sincerest recommendations! Thank you for letting us rent it, Hana and Neo!

Prachtig huisje. Mooi ingericht. Het is alleen een beetje vreemd dat de douche in een van de kamers is. Als je je wilt wassen 's morgens vroeg moet je wachten tot diegene die er slaapt wakker is. Host reageerde snel. Ook toen het automatische slot kapot was. Kom hij met een cadeautje aan. Had niet gehoeven, kan hij niks aan doen.

Niky è un'eccellente proprietaria. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La casa è splendida e la vista sul lago è magnifica.

Wir wurden von einer sehr netten und sympathischen Gastgeberin empfangen. Die Kommunikation mit Seraina war von Anfang an sehr angenehm und unkompliziert Die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet und hat einem grossartigen Balkon. Es hat alles perfekt gepasst und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

alessandros rustico is a beautiful place. very spacious , super comfortable. it has a amazing view and is very quite. there are plenty of nice walks to do. the farmers futher up in the mountains make very good cheese. it is only about 7 min walk to the car. but for the dirt road you need a good car with enough space under the body. we love to come back

Super schöne Hütte - überragende Lage - top eingerichtet - Salome ist super freundlich und hat uns stets weitergeholfen. Schade, dass der Hot Tub im Winter nicht verfügbar ist. Im Winter ist ein Aufstieg mit Schneeschuhen oder Tourenski absolute Pflicht!!! Ich würde die Hütte sofort weiterempfehlen und nochmals buchen. Vermutlich im Sommer und dann inklusive Hot Tub :)

Lugar ainda mais bonito do que nas fotos, Simone sempre muito gentil e com ótimas dicas. É importante saber que o acesso é através de uma caminhada por uma trilha relativamente íngrime, mas Simone tem um carrinho que leva as malas o que facilita muito!

Unser Urlaub war wirklich wunderschön. Die Aussicht ist mehr als spektakulär. Die Straße zur Unterkunft ist zwar sehr eng und mit vielen Serpentinen zu befahren, aber man kann wunderbar vor der Unterkunft parken. Innen war alles sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gab sogar kleine Gastgeschenke und wir wurden auf kleinen Zetteln persönlich und in unserer Muttersprache begrüßt. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen! Wenn man ein gutes Auto hat, lässt dieses Chalet keine Wünsche übrig!

We really enjoyed our stay here and we would love to come back again next time we decide to come to Bormio. Amazing and beautiful location. Great views across the town and almost halfway up the mountain to Bormio 2000. Our hosts were excellent, warm, welcoming and helpful with any queries we had. Le logement était comme présenté sur l’annonce et offrait une des plus belle vue sur le lac. Le lieu est reposant et tranquille. Andrea est très réactif et amical. Superbe séjour.
