Great stay! Shao-En is sweet, and has a cupboard of snacks for you to try! Full kitchen and bathroom, the location is right by the bridge which you can walk on or take a bus to the city center. Great night market just 10 min walk away

My daughter and I had a great two weeks stay. The apartment is well designed with attention to details. It was also nice to have so much space in Taiwan. The beds were comfortable, the shower pressure excellent, and the bidet toilets with heated seats were appreciated. We appreciated the fourth floor walk up after eating so much good food. Buses and metro are easy to access within short 5 minutes walk. Location is in Xindian district, away from the hustle of Taipei city and close to my family. Communications were easy and clear. It was everything as described.

Mika's place is an art oasis. She has put a lot of thought into each individual piece (books, art, decor) in her apartment. I delayed my arrival for two days and she was great to communicate with. After coming from Hong Kong, it was great to be in the peaceful environment. It is very close to the train to commute anywhere within Taipei. The room is a lot bigger than it looks in pictures, gets a lot of light, and is extremely private. Her living room is amazing as well to comfortably hang out. She recommended to art exhibits to go to, and other local recommendations. Having conversations with her was also great. I hope we stay in touch and look to stay again when visiting Taipei!

The room on the 7th floor (702) was bigger than expected and had an extra single bed which was definitely nice! The only con is that the bathroom is a shed outside and the door does not fully close, so there was some concern with privacy. There were a few mosquitos as well, so there might be a crack. I booked both a room on the 5th and 7th floor and the 5th floor room was definitely significantly better than the 7th floor rooms because of the bathroom/smell. Otherwise though, the host was super responsive and easy to work with!
