Cozy space which had all I needed- basically a private entrance, mini kitchen, private bathroom, comfortable bed and desk, easy parking, and super convenient location to public transit. Great communication with the hosts. Would definitely recommend if you just need a place to crash while being in Berkeley for a few days (I was at a conference).

My stay with Emily was excellent. The proximity to UC Berkeley and various stores makes the room a very good accommodation for visiting scholars (and others working at the university). I also got to know Emily's son and her dog, everyone made me feel at home from the beginning, even though I was far away (from Germany). I can only recommend Emily's place :-)

Great hospitality and location! Just 2 blocks from Telegraph Ave. Lovely back yard to sit and work. Rooms clean and comfortable. Delicious homemade treats and breakfast items. Will definitely like to return! thank you!

The place is in a great location, the treehouse room was as-described, and Dan & Traci clearly have their process down (instructions, communication, and baked goods!). Definitely recommended if you’re looking to stay in the area.

Danna is a lovely host! She made delicious breakfast and also hosted house dinners, where she made a simple but delicious 3-course meal! The room is beautiful and has a stunning view. I also love the neighborhood. I had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Schitterend Victoriaans huis, zowel van buiten als van binnen. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Ruime slaapkamers, mooie tuin en zeer gunstig gelegen. Met de ferry ben je zo in downtown San Francisco. Absolute aanrader!

It’s a great location in a quiet and pleasant old Berkeley neighborhood. They’ve really maximized the rentable space in the home, so getting to my nicely appointed room was a bit awkward, but following their clear instructions I got to the room without any trouble. It was spacious, well equipped (fridge, microwave, coffeemaker) with nice light through the windows and skylights. They do a great job providing snacks and homemade goodies. Would happily stay there again.

Great location! Laura provided breakfast/coffee to get us started our first morning which was so thoughtful. Highly recommend this place! We hope to return in the future.

Pamela and Richard went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and acquainted with the space. They met us for check in and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed many a wonderful conversation with them throughout our stay over breakfast which they thoughtfully set out each morning. Their house was stunning and walking distance from Piedmont and College Ave which made our stay very fun and easygoing. There were so many personal touches along the way, including homemade jam and honey with the breakfast. We would be honored to be able to stay again sometime.
