This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

We stayed here to explore San Francisco and take day trips around the area! SF is about 20-30 minutes depending on what part of the city. Half moon bay is around 30 minutes as well. SFO is very close around 15 minutes. You do hear the occasional rumble of airplanes landing and taking off but wasn’t an inconvenience for us. This Airbnb is separate from the main house and you need to walk through the backyard to get there. We did find a couple spiders in the unit. Maybe because it’s an older home and surrounded by nature. Overall, we had a pleasant experience staying here. Parking is convenient on the driveway and the unit had everything we would have needed. Hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed our stay!

Woke up to the sounds birds and water running through a creek. Staying in the hills at cul de sac in an enchanted eucalyptus forest. View of San Francisco city and Bay through the trees. A restful cottage for a much need beak.

If you need to stay in West Berkeley, this is a very convenient spot. The cottage is unusual and artistic. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs kitchen with loads of windows.

This was a perfect place to decompress during a busy work trip. The space is beautiful, and the attached gym is such a nice treat! Everything was exactly as described, clean and lovely. I would definitely stay again!

I was surprised when we arrived that the space was a converted Garage. I was a little worried when we drove up but the space is beautiful. They did an amazing job it was spacious , clean and safe. The neighborhood is peaceful and serene. My girls and I loved walking through the neighborhood in the mornings and evenings. Communication was great the host was very responsive.We will absolutely be staying here again.

Really enjoyed our stay, it felt like an old-school style AirBnb. Nice welcome note, delicious breakfast snacks, stocked bathroom.

Will and Jane were excellent hosts. The back house is light filled and spotless. It’s comfortable and well organized. It was peaceful, tucked away in a garden! I loved feeding the fish. Both Will and Jane were responsive and offered a great recommendation. I know I’ll stay here every time I come to San Francisco!

Very nice, quiet location. I enjoyed watching the sun rise over the mountain every morning, which you can do right from bed 🙂 Kitchen is perfectly appointed and I appreciated all of the amenities.

This was my second time staying at this place, and I had another great experience. The place is clean, adorable, and exactly as described. The hosts are so communicative. I would highly recommend this place to any guest!

We had a great stay at Dave's place. We were there for 5 nights with our dog and it was perfect for a longer stay. I worked remotely from the air bnb and it was comfortable and good wifi. It was great to have laundry in the space and the place was well stocked with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the hosts were very responsive to anything we needed. It's up on a hill in a wooded area, which was very peaceful and private. We loved that. Would definitely come back.

Mira was quick to respond and provided clear directions. Her place is in a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s bright and airy and had everything we needed for our short stay! Will certainly stay again!

The guest house is tiny but very clean and quiet. Perfect for the three nights we stayed. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view of the bay, bridge, and city lights. The private patio allowed us space to enjoy the outdoors while visiting with my son and his girlfriend who are Berkeley students. The robes and slippers for the hot tub were a nice touch. You definitely want to have a car if you stay up in the hills as the hike up is steep. We had a rental car and there was plenty of street parking available.

We had a great stay at this property. The unit was spotless and had everything the 2 of us needed for our 2 night stay. The location is great in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance of lots of food and shopping options. We stay in the area several times a year and we will absolutely stay here again.

A quiet and comfortable spot. Unlimited things to do with its proximity to the grand/lakeshore district. I love the view from the backyard and have had a great peaceful stay everytime I’ve booked. Would highly recommend!

Mary & Steve are awesome hosts as they always go above and beyond! Their cozy Cottage is always our first choice when visiting the Bay Area. The cleanliness, amenities, comfort and coziness give us the feeling of being right at home. On our next visit to the Bay Area we certainly hope Mary & Steve's Cottage will be available.

We had a wonderful 2 week+ stay! The amenities and convenience of this Airbnb can't be beat! We loved that it had 2 bathrooms, an office and ALL of the streaming services available to guests. Nikki replied to all of my messages really quickly and was very kind. My one and only note would be that the bed was pretty firm and after a few nights it started to be uncomfortable but that could 100% be just my own preference. I'll definitely recommend this location to friends and family! ❤️

We loved our stay at Pat’s Airbnb. It was cute & cozy with a great kitchen & bathroom. It was very close to Solano, a fun shopping & eating street. We highly recommend this spot in Albany / Berkeley.

Helen's place is roomy with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. The dishwasher and washer/dryer provided added convenience. The location is just off busy Woodside Road with a Safeway market about 5 minutes away on foot.

First let me start by saying the pictures posted are exactly as the place! It’s street parking but felt safe as a residential neighborhood with plenty of parking. Kananu was very respectful & responsive within minutes if not seconds! Kananu’s place has everything you need to feel right at home. The host gave nice recommendations for what’s in the area for dining, fun activities for all ages & shopping. We had a small issue with the water heater making nose and she was able to get the issue resolved quickly without interfering with our stay. I would definitely recommend Kananu’s place to anyone traveling to the area and definitely will be back for another stay! Her place definitely makes you feel like you’re in your own home.

This is a lovely little place conveniently located near North Berkeley and University Village. It's a safe family neighborhood with parking. Raquel is very responsive and I highly recommend this accommodation.

Jun is a wonderful and attentive host who provides clear, detailed check-in instructions. The location is highly convenient, situated between San Jose and Concord—perfect for those who need to travel between the two. Within a 5 to 10-minute drive, you'll find Costco, Walmart, Safeway, 24 Hour Fitness, and even Nordstrom Rack. Access to the freeway is quick and hassle-free. Jun’s place is in a safe, quiet neighborhood, and inside, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space is impeccably clean and well-organized. A+ for both the host and the accommodation!

Josie’s place is fantastic! Had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. We will definitely book it again the next time we are in the Bay Area!
