We enjoyed our stay at Paul and Jenn's place. It was clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a pleasant stay with our toddler. Both driveway and street parking were easy, and the location was convenient whether driving or walking. The mattress was squishier than we'd prefer, but we'd still stay here again. Thanks, Paul and Jenn!

This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

Bob was fantastic host, responsive and very accommodating to my situation. The place was a nice little respite and retreat and had everything I needed. Highly recommended.

What a gem! So grateful for my stay at Victoria’s place. I was there for 3 nights during the week as I attend a school nearby and usually have to commute 1.5 hours to get there. I wanted a peaceful place to relax and study and have some “me” time away from family and it was exactly that. So cozy, the backyard is beautiful, Victoria is very kind and welcoming, and her dogs are super cute. Definitely recommend!

We stayed here to explore San Francisco and take day trips around the area! SF is about 20-30 minutes depending on what part of the city. Half moon bay is around 30 minutes as well. SFO is very close around 15 minutes. You do hear the occasional rumble of airplanes landing and taking off but wasn’t an inconvenience for us. This Airbnb is separate from the main house and you need to walk through the backyard to get there. We did find a couple spiders in the unit. Maybe because it’s an older home and surrounded by nature. Overall, we had a pleasant experience staying here. Parking is convenient on the driveway and the unit had everything we would have needed. Hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed our stay!

Woke up to the sounds birds and water running through a creek. Staying in the hills at cul de sac in an enchanted eucalyptus forest. View of San Francisco city and Bay through the trees. A restful cottage for a much need beak.

Felt like it was just lke my home accept they have a hot tub that I used almost every night during my stay also had a beautiful garden. Is very quiet and relaxing.

This is a lovely little place conveniently located near North Berkeley and University Village. It's a safe family neighborhood with parking. Raquel is very responsive and I highly recommend this accommodation.

This place was amazing, recently moving from another stay we had to rent for 2 weeks while we waited for our things. This place had everything we could have needed. If you have dogs Ela’s place will be perfect for you, the backyard is fenced and my dogs loved it. The location is also great as there are a lot of stores, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Barak greeted me upon arrival and gave me a few pointers about using the lights and heat. The guesthouse is just as described. I appreciated all of the thought that went into the design of the space (lighting & heated bathroom floor) and all of the amenities provided, including filtered water. Barak communicated promptly and allowed me to have a later check out time. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to College Ave. restaurants and shops. I highly recommend a stay here!

Brian and Danielle were fantastic hosts. So warm, accommodating, fun and friendly! The place was exactly what I needed - near work, a cozy place to sleep and store my stuff while waiting to move into my apartment. I only used the place to sleep as I was mostly at work/hanging out w/ friends - and this place is perfect for that! I'm a light sleeper and slept very well here! I'm also always worried about being cold, but this place is very well insulated and can hold heat very well. Highly recommend as a place to crash, and would def stay again here if needed! thanks Brian & Danielle!

The guest house is tiny but very clean and quiet. Perfect for the three nights we stayed. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view of the bay, bridge, and city lights. The private patio allowed us space to enjoy the outdoors while visiting with my son and his girlfriend who are Berkeley students. The robes and slippers for the hot tub were a nice touch. You definitely want to have a car if you stay up in the hills as the hike up is steep. We had a rental car and there was plenty of street parking available.

After all the glowing reviews already posted, there is not much to add. The space was so clean and inviting, and Ena went above, and beyond to accommodate my allergies. My husband appreciated the chocolates that greeted us when we arrived. Because it was listed as a cottage, we were expecting a much smaller place. The home has a spacious, very comfortable living room, a full kitchen with kitchen table that seats four, a full-size bedroom, and well-appointed bathroom. I hope to spend more than a week there on my next visit.

We had a great stay at this property. The unit was spotless and had everything the 2 of us needed for our 2 night stay. The location is great in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance of lots of food and shopping options. We stay in the area several times a year and we will absolutely stay here again.

This is my second time staying at Melanie and Travis’ place and it’s amazing! I truly love it. It’s so comfortable, has everything you need, is in a perfect location and has a driveway! This is my go-to anytime I’m in the area. I was lucky enough to meet Melanie and Travis and they are such lovely hosts! Truly a gem!

This guest cottage was everything i hoped for! Stephen was a great host and I very much enjoyed my stay. Great location with many restaurants options that are walkable. Beautiful neighborhood with pretty sights. Highly recommend!

Camille's cottage is such a lovely sanctuary! Tucked away in a stunning garden, the space has everything you need to truly relax and retreat. I especially loved rambling around the Berkeley neighborhood hills and taking in the Spring blossoms. Camille is incredibly thoughtful and responsive, getting back to me within an hour whenever I had a question. I will definitely return on my next stay to the East Bay!

Liri and Ramsey were great hosts in our stay in Oakland. They were kind and we would stay again when we come back to the Bay Area.

Loved our stay at Nanci's cottage, which is tucked away in a peaceful green little oasis in Rockridge. It was just as expected from the description - cozy, comfortable and nicely decorated. The garden outside the door is a delight, even in cool weather. Communication with Nanci was great and we were very fortunate to have the opportunity to meet her and Cinder in person when we checked in. Located within easy walking distance of Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Market Hall, Safeway, as well as BART and other fun shops such as Pegasus Books, Hudson Bay Café, Chocolate Dragon Café and Cole Hardware, we had no need for a rental car while in town. We will definitely be back!

Diana's guest house was such a cozy and comfortable stay for my family (two adults & a toddler). There were many thoughtful touches from the host. The bed was cozy and there was enough space for all of us and our things. The location is lovely and quiet, we felt safe and had no issue with street parking. It's well located to great restaurants and shops. We would love to stay here again sometime, I'm happy to recommend it!

Joy’s place was absolutely fantastic. The room was peaceful and tucked away in a really serene backyard. The backyard is fenced and our pups were happy to explore. Joy was an excellent host, very accommodating, and extremely helpful. We would recommend her place to everyone.

Our third stay at this wonderful studio. The location is terrific and the space is just right for two. We travel a lot and this place is a real home away from home for us.

I had such a wonderful experience staying here. From the very beginning, Bonnie was incredibly responsive, kind, and accommodating—always helpful in answering any questions I had. The warmth of her hospitality, along with the inviting atmosphere of the home, made my stay so enjoyable that I ended up extending it. The cubby itself is stunning—it has that Maybeck charm that blends into the serene surrounding and it is decorated with lovely touches that reflect Bonnie's excellent taste. Waking up to sunlight streaming through the kitchen windows, with a view of the bay and redwoods, while sipping coffee was heavenly. The bed was very comfortable and the house is well-equipped, especially if you like to cook. Bonnie's house book was FULL of local gems—wonderful restaurants and activities I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. The cubby is a restful retreat in nature, perfect for contemplation and creative inspiration. I would absolutely love to return.

What a wonderful stay! Marin & Stephen have created a beautiful space that is well appointed. The location is perfect, parking is easy and their accessibility and responsiveness as hosts made our return to the Bay Area truly memorable. We look forward to staying here again.
