We had a wonderful stay at The Hen House! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved spending time by the pond, fishing, and soaking in the jacuzzi. The home had a great selection of DVDs for all ages and fun games like Balderdash, which made for some memorable family game nights with the kids. The location was incredibly convenient—close to restaurants, stores, and just 10 minutes from the Magnolia Baseball fields. The house itself is tastefully decorated, warm, and inviting, with plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Cassie was a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend The Hen House and would definitely stay here again!

Here is the deal we all know when looking..... I want to walk in and say I made the right choice.... Period!!!!! At this place you can! I would have loved a working TV in the master bedroom. But that's just me...I don't sleep... It was probably something I couldn't figure out on my own but anyway, pretty cool place!!!!

What a beautiful secluded oasis. It was even better than described. Our dogs played and enjoyed the safe confines of the property and we enjoyed time by the pool and time unplugged as a family. Will come again ASAP

We had a ton of fun at this adorable and perfectly designed cottage. It's perfect for a girl's trip, has everything you need, great location, great amenities, and adorable inside. The hot tub was perfectly warm, we loved the jets. Everything in the cottage is place "just so," showing how thoughtful Lori and Mandy are as hosts. All the furniture and beds were comfy cozy. We had such a great time!

Great place for a get away. Not as secluded as I thought, literally right off the highway. Host was very responsive, there was a problem and they were out to fix quickly. Check in was great, place was clean and very well kept. Fishing was good, caught multiple species.

We enjoyed our stay, everything was as shown in the listing. The location was great, not too far but far enough to be out of the middle of the action. However, the most impressive part of our trip was the communication. We had not booked the place we stayed. We were on our way when Catalina phone us and explained that there had been an issue with frozen pipes (the area had been in some very unseasonable cold weather) at our original booking and we would be unable to stay at our original choice. She quickly provided us two great options and we seamlessly had a different place to stay before we arrived into Fredericksburg. Very happy with the our stay and the communication. .

This place was great. The host was friendly and communicated really well. They had everything we needed for a nice relaxing, riverside vacation.

The house was great. Quiet neighborhood that met our needs. Fully equipped house for our needs.

There are 2 houses on this property. I was staying 2 months, and about 10 days into my stay the hot water heater began leaking in the Plum Cottage. A replacement heater had to be ordered. I was offered the chance to move to the other (bigger) Stone House at no additional cost, either until the repair was made, or for the duration of my stay. I chose to remain at the bigger house for the duration. Not only was it an upgrade, but it kept me from having to move all my stuff yet again. That was a very kind offer !! Although this location is in the country and very peaceful, Wimberley is just a short drive for any needed supplies or to visit shops and restaurants. As I'd drive down the road this property is on, folks would wave when passing. I once encountered a deer in the yard as I was heading out. It moved a little farther away, but was still enjoying being on the property a little later when I returned. Nice to be in nature and able to share the same space. A pleasant stay !!

Great place to stay! Very clean and homey feeling from the minute you walk in.

Enjoyed our stay with our granddaughter. The evenings were so quiet and peaceful. The lake was beautiful with available canoe and kayaks...granddaughters favorite thing to do. Went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Everything you need to cook. Very comfortable bed and sofa. Will definitely love to stay again. ❤️

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in Cabin #2. It was so accommodating & very well thought out for everything included in the cabin. It has a nice homey feel with all the cute decorations. Our dog, Mazie, had so much fun running freely in the east part of the property. Highly recommend seeing the Christmas lights in Johnson City.

Tavas place was furnished in cottage fashion and well equipped with water and snacks. The bed was comfortable and the cottage was clean. The Location was just far enough out of town to feel like the country but less than 2 miles from Fredericksburg. Definitely recommend!

The internet gave me a bit of a struggle when I had to do work I didn't anticipate. Ideally, you'd visit this quaint home when you have no work and can enjoy the bay. It's a cute, cozy place, and my family and I greatly enjoyed our short stay. We would absolutely stay again.

Peaceful cabin out in the country. Close enough to what you need but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.

Loved staying at this cabin and will definitely return! Very peaceful away from the city noise. The house was beautiful inside with window looking over trees. Dishes and kitchen were very clean as well as the bathroom. We saw birds and deer from the windows. Big area outside to walk your dogs, there is another cabin there too but it’s far enough away we never heard any noises or car noises even. Felt very secluded. Nice fire pit area to sit outside. Thanks for having us!

Relaxing cottage just outside Kerrville nicely apportioned. Very quiet location with the flexibility of a pool and hot tub. Great weekend getaway; we would definitely recommend and come again.

We had a wonderful time at this lakeside home. We spent our time kayaking, fishing and relaxing. It was such a nice getaway. The welcome muffins and the fruit and milk in the fridge was also a nice touch of hospitality.

Adorable little cottage! It was exactly what we were looking for in a mother daughter weekend. The house is smaller and older and the charm was felt throughout. The house comfortably slept our party of 4 and stayed warm in the very cold night. Close to main st so it was a great location!

This was my second stay here and I can say It’s a fantastic place to stay. With the exception of food you’d like to eat, I can’t think of anything else you would need to bring. Rebecca is always extremely responsive, and the home is quiet, clean, and feels like a home away from home! I would definitely book again anytime I’m in the area!

Perfect location to visit our kids camping at Garner State Park. This is our second stay at The Inn Between, very cozy and comfortable with everything you need!

We stayed one night and it was a great place! The kids enjoyed the outdoors and we caught some fish.

If you are looking for peace and serenity- this is the place for you. We only got to stay 1 day but wish it was longer. This place has everything-water in the fridge, snacks, kcups, complimentary bottle of wine, kayaks, River view, wildlife and great hosts! Recommend 100%
