My boys (12 and 15) and I made reservations for the small container home over spring break, but Matthew reached out a few days before our stay to let us know that some high winds had caused a bit of damage to the container home, and it wouldn’t be fixed by the time we arrived. He kindly and very generously offered to let us stay at the main house for no additional charge so that we could still enjoy our planned vacation. Amazing! We absolutely loved the property, which is lit up beautifully at night and is kitschy and country and comfortable in all the best ways. The decor of the home was unique and fun, and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking dinners in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again without hesitation. And we fell in love with the goats. So friendly and funny. Matthew was the same when we met him. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay at this colorful and restful respite from the city.

I was in Frisco for a 12 week clinical rotation so this location was perfect for me. It’s private, safe, and clean. There’s no way I would have gotten a short term lease with this much privacy anywhere else in dallas. It’s out in the country about 20 min from Frisco. It’s pretty much glamping, glamorous camping. There are cows, donkeys, and a pony right outside which will greet you when you arrive but are separate from the yard surrounding the trailer. Danny is very responsive and checks in to make sure you’re doing fine. There was a point when the internet stopped working and he jumped right on it! It’s a great place to stay as long as you aren’t looking for a high maintenance place and your okay with things that come along with country living.

This was the perfect stay for two! While there were other cottages by us, it still felt very private. We loved the location and would definitely come back!

We did have a couple of issues not on the host at all, our door lock number was not working for some reason and i called them at 1:30 in the morning. THEY ANSWERED thank goodness! and we were able to get in. following that our ac quit working the second day and unfortunately we had to make another call! they were so so helpful. did what they could to get someone out but it was too late by the time we called luckily it was cool weather at night, so we opened a few windows and let the breeze in. The next day they relocated us to another location, it was right across the street, not much of a hassle at all. the place was all cleaned up and ready for us. Incredible host! Very responsive, helpful and accommodating.

This is a great place to get away. The house had perfect amenities. The linens were extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The dipping pool was fabulous and perfect size. The location is ideal for all the things around town. Steve and Cindi was very sweet and easy to talk too. The only thing I could say is that the ac unit did not blow very well. Besides that, everything was great.

I stayed at Philip’s Airbnb for around a month and absolutely loved it! It was clean, had everything you would need, and he was quick to respond if I had any questions. I would highly recommend staying here and I will be if I’m back in the area!

It was literally the cutest place to stay, also very close to a lot of the activities I had plan. It was pet friendly and my dog enjoyed sunbathing the weekend away. Debbie was very attentive, accommodating and so friendly.

This was a great location, so peaceful and quiet. The hosts were amazing and a pleasure to work with. The barndo was comfortable and it felt like being at home during our stay. If we come back to Abilene we would definitely stay here again

Loved the simplicity and tininess! The rooftop was the best part! Definitely close to other homes so not very private, didn’t expect that part. But I loved it all otherwise! Exactly what I needed for a getaway.

Super fun and spooky! My family of 5 stayed in October and the place was decked out for Halloween. Awesome way to get into the spirit! We loved the game room barn. Perfect getaway. Sabrina and Tony were nice, responsive and accommodating. They went above and beyond for us and we can't wait to go back!

The Container Cottage is exactly as described. It is small but well appointed and was perfect as a holiday getaway landing spot for a couple. Kitchen had all we needed and the bathroom very nice and functional. We did some star gazing on the rooftop deck and having a carport spot kept the vehicle cool in the hot Texas summer. The bed is plenty big and comfy. The Wi-Fi was fine during a 4 hour session on my laptop. The shared outdoor spaces were great as well. We’ll definitely come back.

I recently stayed at a cute tiny Airbnb near Houston, Texas, and I can't recommend it enough! The place was well-equipped with a hot tub, fridge, dishwasher, and even a washer and dryer, which made our stay super convenient. The WiFi was reliable, and we particularly loved the large bathtub for relaxing after a long day. One of the standout features was how organized everything was. The host had thoughtfully labeled cabinets and shelves, making it easy to find everything we needed. The location was in a safe area, and we enjoyed peaceful nights with no noise disturbances at all. Overall, I would rate this Airbnb a solid 10/10. It was a perfect getaway spot, combining comfort and convenience in a lovely setting. I can't wait to return!

I attended a wedding at St Mary’s church just down the road from Michael’s listing. The place was just as described, Michael and his dogs were so lovely and the ambiance of the property was most peaceful! I was lucky to have such a kind and flexible host. Would stay again :)

Thoughtfully decorated and filled with all the amenities in and outside the home, this space and community is one of a kind. Close to Garner. Beautiful views of the night sky and hill country. If you’re wanting a getaway that’ll immerse you in the present moment, this is it!

We have daughters that have moved to Austin for college and beyond. We have been visiting Austin for 10 years. Chris's place is the most authentic 'Austin' location we have ever stayed - perfectly appointed and fun. The location could not be better. You can walk to everything, and Chris has great recommendations. Thanks to Chris's recommendations, we enjoyed the best date night in years. Chris's place is our fist choice from here on out.

Such a beautiful weekend getaway that was secluded and relaxing. Everything was just as described and the place was perfect. We were able to disconnect from everything and just enjoy the peaceful country views, watch stunning sunrises, and relax. We walked the property and explored and dreamed. Perfect oasis to disconnect from the chaos of day to day and connect back together.

Great stay! Very cozy home and walkable to downtown (some areas without sidewalks but it wasn’t an issue for us!) Hosts were very communicative and responded quick when we had an issue with the hot tub. Would stay again!
