This is our second stay at Guy & Nancy’s place and it’s always the BEST experience. Guy is always there to welcome us upon our arrival and give us helpful instructions about the space and things to do locally. The suite is immaculate and cozy and the bed is very comfortable. The patio is our favorite place to hang out and listen to music while watching the sunset before walking up the street to see bands at Pappy & Harriets. Local shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Looking forward to visiting again soon! Thanks again, Guy! Karrie

I can only heartily recommend this place. We booked for almost one week and had an extremely pleasant and relaxing stay. The cabin is really private and is super clean. The deck was great for sunbathing and resting. A perfect base to stay at for exploring the surrounding area (Yosemite, Oakhurst, Mariposa, ...) while you can unwind in your private place. Amazing Airbnb!

We had a great weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the property. Our host was super. The whole thing was just right.

Madonna is a very gracious host and the house is brand new. If you are touring the northern Napa valley- this is a great place to stay as it is close to St Helena and Calistoga.

My stay had everything I need. The room is small but I was traveling alone and just looking for a place to lay my head while in town for a show and a few excursions. Big sink and comfortable size shower in the bathroom. This stay is walking distance to Pappy and Harriet's which was perfect for me the night of the show, and the walk back under the stars was magical, and is something I'll remember for a good long time. The deck was a nice place to hang out between my adventures, and the area is so quiet and peaceful that I was able to get a bit of writing done. Hosts were super communicative and proactive, I felt very well taken care of. I'd recommend this stay to anyone checking out a show at Pappy's, or if you're looking for a very quiet and peaceful place to rest while exploring the desert.

Stayed here for a couple of days to do some hiking in the area. Very cute and quirky decor, feels reasonably private despite being a room in the house with the separate entrance and patio area. The goats are great! So friendly and playful and it’s nice that they let you feed them. The place is a bit far from things so bring what you’ll need.

Our family had an amazing Christmas holiday here.The house was beautiful and decorated for the holiday. There was plenty of room for our large group and the hosts were extremely helpful.

Elvis’ place was enjoyable for the family of 13. We had 5 children with us and they were able to have enough space to play and be comfortable during our stay there. Everything was clean inside the house and everything was in good working condition. This house is about 5 minutes from Bass Lake and about 50 a minute drive (without traffic) from Yosemite’s south entrance. Would recommend to larger groups that want to spend time together and be able to enjoy the outdoors as well.

This was my second time staying at Mick’s bunkhouse. I extended a few times and ultimately couldn’t extend further due to a plumbing issue that required some significant work. Mick was always responsive and proactive in addressing the situation and providing alternatives. Mick was onsite even when sick trying to address the issue. He works very hard and takes a lot of pride in the space and it shows in how it is furnished and maintained. The bed continues to be one of the most comfortable I have had in an AirBnB with a great mattress, linens and pillows. The place is compact without being cramped and well furnished without being cluttered. The kitchen is workable with the small combo oven/microwave and portable cooktop. I regularly baked salmon and seared ribeye. Mick was always responsive to questions and feedback, including providing the rare utensils/amenities that helped improve the comfort and quality of my stay. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a peaceful, private and cozy little cabin to relax in. Between the green hills, budding oak trees, large pond habitated by various types of birds, frogs and fish; we instantly knew we found what we were looking for. As for the cabin itself, it’s beautifully appointed. The fireplace made for very cozy evenings, and the bed we wanted to take home with us. (Seriously what kind of mattress is it?). We had everything we needed for the kitchen, bathroom and otherwise. My kiddos were a bit upset with me for not bringing them along so I will be back with them. Thank you so much for a great mini-vacay!

We enjoyed the serenity of this peaceful location. This home is great for bird and wildlife watching with an incredible outdoor space. We loved exploring nearby towns including San Miguel and making day trips into SLO. We would definitely stay again!

The ranch is beautiful and the Bird Ranch name is definitely fitting. We listened to the birds sing and chirp all day long. There is plenty of space on the ranch to do outdoor activities and explore. The house itself is an older home and it shows in some places but the charm of the home is great. I would definitely come back to this property.

What to say about this place - it was the most magical airbnb stay of all time. Not being hyperbolic in the slightest. The ranch is family-run/owned and it shows - every detail, from the exquisite and clean interior of the cabin (the bed is so cozy!) to the free fresh eggs in the communal fridge, is thoughtful and touching. Carly met us upon our arrival and was immediately so warm and welcoming! She toured us around the property, explaining the history of the land and introducing us to all of the animals! A cacophony of bird sounds accompanied every second of the stay, the stars were extra bright, and the entire property was filled with an undeniably magical feeling. The next morning, Carly’s mom (Kelly) welcomed us to join her on her morning feedings, where we once again got to spend time with the wonderful creatures of the ranch (and an even more wonderful human!!). Cannot thank you enough for the gift that was our stay. Just perfect.

What an amazing and special place! The home was nicely appointed and worked well for our family of 4. The pool table was a fun activity and the TVs enabled a family movie night. Beautiful place to unwind and take in the scenery. Great location to town and hikes. The host was very nice and suggested great local activities. Would highly recommend.

It was the perfect Valentines getaway for my fiancée and I. Place was really beautiful and peaceful. Felt right at home and made us consider getting one of our own. Would definitely recommend.

Would definitely stay here again! Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. The rolling hills are SO beautiful. The property is very nice. I would love to come back when the vines are in bloom. Very responsive host.

Great secluded spot. Lots of room for a large group. Host was very responsive and helpful. House is solar powered and comes with an easy to use generator when needed. Perfect spot for an off the grid weekend.

This house is so well put together. When you arrive it looks a bit old and alone in a field, but you open the door and it’s the most cozy, comfortable and quaint place I have stayed. It was wonderful because it’s so close to DIHP and away from traffic and noise. A bit dusty as you drive in but I would definitely stay here again. I arrived late at night and it’s very very dark, I called Carrie and immediately answered and helped me out. The house has everything you need and more. Well done!!

A cozy stay on a beautiful property. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and we really appreciated the washer/dryer since we were on a road trip. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful and quiet place, perfect for relaxing with our family. The hosts gave us a tour of their petting zoo and were responsive to our requests. 10 out of 10!

Our cohost was April and she was amazing! She gave us great places to visit during our stay and made us feel right at home as soon as we got there. Anything we asked about the town she had an answer for and more. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place, this place is hits the spot. It has a perfect spot to sit right outside the place and watch the horses at the equestrian onsite. Can’t wait to go back and stay here again!

We have stayed in a few airbnbs and this one is definitely the grandest and coziest one in which have stayed. The neighborhood was very peaceful and safe and the property was beautifully landscaped. We had a few minor issues with the front door, the dishwasher, and the remote which Hanna reviewed in a prompt manner. Finding permanent fix would be difficult during a holiday week but she did address them and we are certain she will resolve them for future guests. She brought us a lovely basket of passion fruit and even though parties are not a regular occurrence probably out of respect for the neighbors, she did grant permission for some of our extended family to gather for a social holiday murder mystery game. When we were researching a place to stay for Xmas week we were happy to find this one which was nicer and almost half the price of another one we were considering nearby. Thank you Hannah for being such a friendly and attentive hostess!
