We had the best weekend getaway here! The home was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had very new appliances & bathrooms. There were so many thoughtful touches from night lights to prepared firewood/kindling, and the patio was perfect for al fresco dining. Kristina was incredibly responsive and so kind in her communication! It was very clear that she cared about us having a good experience. We’d love to come back.

The treehouse was perfect for our girls' getaway! John is a very sweet & thoughtful host who made us feel so welcome, greeted us upon arrival, and helped bring our bags upstairs. The unit is comfortable for two people. It has all of the kitchen supplies needed for preparing light meals/snacks or a picnic to take elsewhere (as we did...to a local winery). While there are other units on the property, we did not see or hear anyone during our stay. Super quiet! Linens and bath towels are high quality (which I appreciate!), there were plenty of extra blankets/comforter (helpful to place some on top of the futon bed to maximize comfort). I recommend bringing your own toiletries. Was the place immaculate? No, but neither is my own home. Is it a bit quirky in terms of how it was built to fit the unique space it's in? Yes. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! It was awesome. Thank you, John, for your wonderful hospitality! We will be back!

Tranquility Base…surely lived up to its name. So comfortable, so charming we felt like a part of the forest. The whole place had so much personality we felt right at home Magical and enchanting getaway Highly recommended We’ll be back

Amazing stay! One thing I will note was it was a bit confusing to find the house, especially at night. Check in the house when the sun is out!

Beautiful cabin, great location, well appointed, clean. Cozy and warm, this place was perfect for our little family getaway to play in the snow. The extra touches like plenty of board games, books, little soaps, quilts, and firewood elevate the experience. Host was very responsive and friendly. We didn't have any issues during our stay and had a perfect weekend. Highly recommend!

This place looks exactly like the pictures. Host called to check in on us on day of arrival and informed us that we could call of we needed anything. Kitchen had all basic cooking utensils. Instructions for fireplace, tvs, heat etc were all very clear. Would stay hear again.

This river cottage was amazing! Quintessential Sonoma county living. We had a great time relaxing by the river and enjoying all healdsburg has to offer. The house was well appointed, all of the furnishings were very comfortable. WiFi was great for working remote. We wished the windows upstairs had real screens, but the curtains helped let us get some air in at night. Hope to visit again soon!

A gem right near Bear mountain, cozy place with great balcony views and awesome touches in the home I would highly recommend this place to anyone or large family coming up to big bear.

This is a lovely place with such historic charm. Truly a gem in Modesto and really cool design that needs to be kept up. There are somethings that need to be attended to, and I’m confident they will make changes noted to them. I rented it the night before for the next day so I know that played a role and at the same time, if it’s available then it should be ready. We didn’t get to utilize all the things shared as cool features as they weren’t working. Overall, I would stay again on the premise that certain things are fixed as it’s a beautiful home near my family.

Beautiful cabin location for my family trip during the holidays. It was nestled among a creek and woods and it was very peaceful and cozy. Would love to come back in the summer and go kayaking. It was unfortunately raining hard during our stay but we had much to do inside with games, a fireplace and going into downtown to visit the numerous cute shops. Overall loved our stay!

We were looking for a place to de-compress and relax away from the day to day routines and speed of life and this was the perfect place for that. We were completely enamored by the magic this place has. From the subtle details inside, to the beauty of the nature around. Co-host Katie was very attentive and very detailed in her instructions. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Eoin was a lovely host! We had a fantastic time and Eoin was very flexible! Would come back again for the peace and serenity!

I loved the decor, it really gives it that cabin feeling. Me and my husband stayed with our pet. We loved that the gate was all fenced up for our dog to enjoy the outdoors .

Beautiful cabin and great location! We loved the home, it was clean, exquisitely decorated and it had everything we needed for our 2-night stay with our two dogs. We felt right at home. The town center is a short walk away. The backyard was spacious and fenced with towering trees that felt like our private forest. Lauren responded quickly to our questions before the stay and provided great restaurant suggestions when we weren’t sure which ones were dog friendly. We had a wonderful experience overall and we would love to come back in the winter! Thank you, Lauren, for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay. The outdoor space and views were even better than the photos. You could clearly see the lake in the distance, which I don’t believe was included in the description. Everything was beautiful and completely clean and spotless. We had no problems backing our large car into the driveway. There was even a dartboard to play which was a fun surprise. Before arrival Kevin provided a detailed list of instructions and how to use the amenities so we didn’t have a single question once we arrived. it’s very short drive to big bear village. There’s also newer built area where you can get donuts/sandwiches (Dunk Donuts) and coffee maybe 5 minutes drive away. Definitely one of our favorite experiences in big bear yet.

What a gem! This treehouse and property are beautiful and amazing. The owners were wonderful - friendly, great communication, and very responsive to our needs. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique redwoods getaway.

Kids loved staying at the treehouse. It was a very unique experience, and it was very well priced. Also included in our stay was access to a huge yard with fire pits, games, and hammocks. The stay was very relaxing and fun and we would recommend a stay here to anyone wanting adventure. Rusty was a great and friendly host and made sure we were well accommodated.

We had a lovely stay at Shane + Craig’s place. It was an idyllic setting. Probably the most unique airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Perfect place for relaxing from the busy, city life. The hosts were very kind and responsive. We hope to be back soon!

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend and we LOVED IT! It was definitely small - but is very cozy and well organized so it didn’t feel cramped and suited 2 people perfectly. The shower is outside and the treehouse/pool area is in the hosts yard, but it still felt very private and safe. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a unique place to stay!

Up and up a remote road and thru the redwoods we arrived at a cozy, stunning hideaway. Wow! So clean and well kept our stay was so fun. Nothing like this anywhere. We even saw some wild turkeys !! A great view and a warm fire just made it magical. Oh and outdoor shower might be the best part! Thank You we will come again.

Brian’s place was perfect for our weekend away from the city. First of all, the cabin is absolutely gorgeous with a large private yard which was great for our pups. The space was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Close to a lot of activities and scenery. We mostly cooked during our stay but we saw a lot of restaurants close by as well. Brian was communicative and very proactive during our stay — he made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for time away from the city or visiting the area!

I had a wonderful time at the Hideaway! This was my second visit and I would return again! It’s a cozy and comfortable space to stay while exploring the surrounding areas. The hosts are always very helpful and responsive, however you feel very tucked away and secluded. A perfect place for a peaceful getaway for 1-2 people. I’ve stayed both by myself and with another person and the space is a bit more comfortable for just one person, but manageable for two. My favorite activities at the Hideway included knitting by the wood stove (in the cold/winter months), dining in luxury at the outdoor picnic table, and sipping a cup of tea while birdwatching or stargazing. Accessibility note: it does require a walk up a meandering path to get to the Hideaway and to the bathroom.

This was an amazing place to stay at! It can be hard to find the first time going, but clear instructions are provided- making things a lot easier. It was clean, quiet, and just what I was looking for.

A truly magical place. I can’t say enough good things about the owl tree cabin. Karen and Will are also fantastic hosts. They are very responsive and stock the cabin well with yummy snacks, coffee, tea, and pretty much anything else you would need. We had the perfect rainy weekend here and are already planning for the next time we get to enjoy this little sanctuary in the woods.
