It was beautiful! Definitely get there before it’s dark or else it could be confusing to get there.

Waking up and taking a walk around the property to find a little rabbit on the hillside and a gamble of quail on the lawn in the early morning sunlight is the only way to aptly describe this peaceful, natural oasis. The yurt is big and if the season is right, the wood burning stove makes it so cozy. Even it's a high fire season and still cold, Jennifer has you covered by providing warm water bottles. Admittedly, we did not spend most of our day there and instead spent our days sight-seeing in Santa Barbara but to come home to a remote, rustic yurt made our weekend getaway extra special. We look forward to coming back soon!

Stayed with the family for a weekend and was amazing! beautiful property, lots to do outside, kayaking on pond was awesome, breakfast was delicious. Ana was super responsive to questions. My kids and I totally want to return!

Our stay at Geoff and Sarah’s yurt was amazing! The location was relaxing and quiet; Outdoor spaces very pleasant and inviting! (Kristin especially loved driving the road from the highway up to the property, and sharing music together one afternoon!! Our hosts were friendly, welcoming, and respectful. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

If you are looking for a peaceful and rejuvenative escape this is the place! We went with our 3-yr old and having the convenience of "glamping" in the yurt made everything so easy breezy! We were even working on potty training during this trip, and having the natural peaceful surroundings (and the convenient compostable toilet close by) made it so painless. The creek was so close that you could hear it from the yurt and we took full advantage of the plunge pool--endless fun for our toddler and it felt so good to dip in the crystal clear water after a day of exploring the area. Belinda has been very thoughtful in her set-up of this space-- everything you could possibly need is in the yurt and if not, she is very responsive. The guide that she links to and includes in the binder in the yurt is so detailed and helpful! We followed many of the recommendations shared, and loved them all. Highly recommend this place if you want to recharge and experience the Shasta region!

It was perfect for my needs with my dog. Very close to my relatives home, and a nice place to enjoy the evening after my days activities.

This is a special place. A perfect escape where to slow down immersed in nature. We’ll for sure come back!

We had such a wonderful time staying in this yurt—our first yurt experience, and it did not disappoint! It’s a perfect spot for a private, romantic getaway in Paso wine country. The location feels wonderfully remote, making for incredible stargazing, yet it’s still within 30 minutes of great wineries like Tablas Creek and Halter Ranch. A heads-up on a couple of things: The internet didn’t work for us at all, so if you need to stay connected, be sure to plan ahead. We prepped any maps, plans, and searches in advance, which made things easier. Also, the bathroom setup is very open—no doors or soundproofing—so you’ll want to be comfortable with that if you're sharing the space. The yurt itself is beautiful and cozy. It has all the basic amenities, but a few extra touches would have made it feel even more special. If you're planning to cook, be sure to bring any favorite essentials like oil or seasonings. Overall, a peaceful place to stay and we would book again! Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay! This place is a true hidden gem — the perfect escape so close to the city. We booked it last minute and had a few hiccups getting out of LA, but the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating the entire time. It’s a beautiful little sanctuary, tucked away from everything yet still has all the essentials you could need. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

WOW. What a gorgeous cozy space. The attention to architectural detail is incredible. There was a big storm that blew in and there was literally no where I would rather have been than in front of the home, in front of the fireplace, with a book, drinking tea. Rustic but well-appointed and thought out. Loved the loft space. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Mary!

Wahida has obviously put so much thought and care into every detail of the yurt and property. The interior is comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated, from the design of the yurt itself to the soft faux fur rugs, the comfortable mattress (firm but not unforgiving), the various levels of lighting available, and the cute throw pillows on the futon couch. The grounds are well cared for, the outdoor kitchen easy to use, and the smell of cedar in the sauna and shower space is lovely. I got to relax reading in the hammock, soak in the hot tub under the stars, and watch the sunrise through the trees from the deck. We enjoyed the space for a romantic weekend away, but would also bring the kids to enjoy the pool. We definitely hope to return!

Lovely cottage more than lived up to its name. We had a divine experience in the most beautiful, peaceful setting. Our hostess was an angel and I would stay again, next time for longer!

The yurt was a wonderful and relaxing place to stay, yet still close to restaurants and other things to do. I would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay and not desiring to be in a crowded hotel or in the city.

This is the second time I stayed at Golden Cup. The first time I knew I wanted to go back and share this beautiful and fun place with my friends. I stayed in The Big Yurt with a couple of my friends and while other friends stayed in the Bear Hut, Cabaña and The Hideaway. We all have a wonderful time exploring the property, doing meditation in the tree house, and cooking together in the Big Yurt. We also enjoyed the sauna, although it was hard to keep it out of smoke while keeping it hot. We all love this place and got a good amount of exercise going up and down the stairs/hills! Adoración and staff were so helpful, responsive and friendly before and throughout our stay. We hope we can gather here again in the future!

WOW! What a place! What an amazing off grid glamping experience! The perfect blend of solitude, beauty, and relaxation. From the sound of wind through the trees, the smell of fresh pine cones in the air during the day to the views of the stars and the warmth of a cozy fire at night, this place had it all. Many thoughtful amenities around every corner. From board games to books or wifi and Netflix, all in the seemingly middle of nowhere. This place won’t disappoint… I highly recommend!

We have stayed at airbnbs in other places in the world and we have to say the yurt in that location was unique and one of our favorites. We will be telling our friends and family about our experience. Steve & Debbie

We loved our stay and can't wait to come back! Super cozy, quiet and felt at home the entire time. The place was immaculately clean. When we had questions, communication was easy and our host was very nice about accommodating us with a late check out. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, the comfy beds, the fire place and loved the fact we could take short hikes with the dogs without having to leave the property. We hope to be back soon!

We loved everything about this place. The house is even better than the pictures. The view is spectacular. The beds are comfortable. My kids spent the entire trip in the yurt. Thank you so much for having us. We hope to come back soon.

Awesome stay. We were intrigued by the Yurt concept and thought we'd give it a go. Wow, we were surprised how cozy and comfortable it was. Love having a live fire in the fireplace and it warmed the place very rapidly. Once the fire died the temp was ideal for sleeping. A bit chilly in the AM, but a rejuvenated fire solved that immediately. Super private location with a gate a winding, scenic driveway with lots of space to park vehicles and two trucks pulling bass boats. We will stay here again, for sure. Great job Judith!

Enjoyed our few days at Glen Ellen Haven. Property was consistent with the photos and a great launching off point for time with family in Sonoma, with everything one would need — pet friendly, well stocked kitchen, newly remodeled bathroom, open plan living area that was well suited for hanging out. Nice touches like a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates. Only regret is we had rain and so it was less easy to enjoy some of the amenities outdoors like the hot tub. Would definitely return and lots of positive notes in the guest book in the kitchen from prior guests.

Eoin was a lovely host! We had a fantastic time and Eoin was very flexible! Would come back again for the peace and serenity!

Rancho Grande was our family's version of 'City Slickers'! The yurt we stayed in (Fish Camp) was beautifully adorned and set up peacefully on a hill but with easy proximity to the bathrooms and lakehouse/kitchen. You go to sleep hearing the frogs ribetting in the creek and wakeup to the ducks splashing in the pond. Richard and his family were extremely helpful getting us set up with heaters in our space, as it was an unusually misty and cold day. Every animal, from the turtle in the greenhouse to the mini horse in the pasture, are full of personality and uniquely loved by the family who cares for this majestic property. If you're looking for a "camping" experience but with top-notch amenities and soul-reviving connection with nature--this is the place!
