Athens unseen, hidden streets, paths, and passages

Follow forgotten Greek signs to uncover a hidden city within a city in the heart of Athens. You’ll experience an authentic Athens through family-run shops, Greek signage, and fascinating architectural juxtapositions. • Begin near Syntagma Square, where I’ll introduce you to Athenian stoas—covered walkways steeped in history. One stoa houses a rare collection of Greek signs that reveal Athens’ rich cultural identity. • Step through a hidden public door into a world of unique, family-owned stores that have stood the test of time. Learn the stories of craftsmanship that define these enduring businesses. • Wander labyrinthine paths showcasing an eclectic blend of architectural styles, from antiquity to the modern day. Our journey concludes near Panepistimio, where we’ll descend into a basement to unravel Athens’ urban myths through oral history. You’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for Athens’ hidden paths, history, and culture, plus a personal connection to its architecture and daily life. As a keepsake, you’ll receive a tiny city guide, designed by me, to help you continue your exploration.

De la côte d'Athènes au cap Sounion (photos et vidéos en drone)

Together we will discover the memorable ATHENIAN RIVIERA, which starts from the city center and ends at Sounio Peninsula, where the temple of the God of the Sea is located. The total route is around 140km (around 87 mi) by the coastline. For you to get to know the suburbs of Athens and enjoy the views, cliffs, lakes, sea, sun, FOOD, beaches with emerald waters. It is an ideal journey with locals (we will provide all the information needed for a wonderful stay here in Greece)! The pick up point is near the Acropolis museum and from there depending on season we will see many locations such as the Cultural Center (SNFCC) of Athens, the lake Vouliagmeni-a rare geological thermal phenomenon with spa fish-, small towns and villages near the cape, beaches and of course the Temple of Poseidon situated on an idyllic landscape. The Doric temple, which was erected during the Golden age and was devoted to Poseidon is at the southernmost point of Attica region. A trip totally worth it for the views and landscapes you'll get to see. And also for the drone photos and videos we will be doing (4k quality, you'll receive them at your email). We are certain that the sunset (the 2nd best that Greece has to offer) and the aura of the temple will captivate you as it happens with us every single time. (entrance fee @the temple is not incl., winter-summer:5-10€,free for Europeans under 25y) DO IT!
