House was just as described. plenty of space for our girls weekend. Easy access to all shops and restaurants. outdoor space was nice with a covered dinning area and fire pit.

From the moment I booked until after I checked out, the hosts were very responsive and helpful! The house itself was great! Very clean and had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay!

We stayed at La Hacienda Rio for 7 nights for a spring break trip. We loved the home and the location. It was homey and clean - and so peaceful. We especially enjoyed the river and the wildlife! We spent most of the week horseback riding in and around Bandera, which was about a 25-30 min drive - but staying outside of town and near the river was so worth it! Thank you Laura!

I have zero complaints. This trip was with girl friends, but I can’t wait and am looking forward to coming back to Morgan’s house again with my husband and daughters.

This was the perfect place for a large group of people! Only issue we had was the hot water wasn’t working the night we got there but Jorge was able to fix it promptly the next day. The house was clean, plenty of space and great neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay and the house was perfect for our family. The place was centrally located to everything we needed to get to, ncluding the wedding venue where we were attending a wedding.

Such a cozy place, the home had all the appliances you needed and such a fun cowboy tub! The bed was so cozy and everything was clean. Super cool it was by a military base, it was fun to look at the vehicles across the fence!

We loved this place so much that this is the second time we've stayed here. The apartment is spacious and has a great view. It's also walking distance to Rainey St. and so many restaurants. There's a small market right around the corner. Did I mention the view?

We enjoyed our staycation here. It’s only a 40 min from our house in Austin but it was a great getaway. We were very comfortable. The design of the villas is really nice (friends came over for a swim and they complimented the space) and we enjoyed the views of Hill Country and the pool from the balconies. The stars were more visible than what we’re used to. We brought our 4 mo old puppy and was easily able to entertain him. There’s lots of open grass and a dog potty area. We really wanted a place where we could teach our dog to swim. But no pets are allowed in the pool. Also the listing says a 9 min walk to the lake, but when asked, the property owners said it’s not walkable and that it is a feature Airbnb automatically puts on the listing. So just be aware if that’s of interest. I was told by someone that you can drive to a beach and swim with your dog close by. The Internet isn’t great. TV shows buffered. But we were able to check email, do a video call n watch streaming movies.

It would be difficult to find a place so close to one of the biggest cities in the country, yet at the same time feel like you have a view of nature as far as you can see. During our stay we saw deer, armadillos and foxes. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and split layout. Thank you!

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

Kathy was an amazing host!!! the house was in incredible condition when we got ther and she was super communicative the whole time! We drove down from OKC and had some car troubles when we arrived and needed to stay extra days, she was very understanding and willing to help us while we figured out our plan to get back home!

First, Grant was a very attentive host. He was very accommodating when we asked if we could bring all 4 of our pups. As our host, he was always quick to respond to our questions. The property was exactly as described. The vastness of it was perfect for the dogs to roam and shake out with their zoomies. The home was so comfortable and spacious. We all agreed that it was a peaceful space where we could hang out with each other and not be on top of one another. The living room had enough furniture for all six of us to sit and watch movies in comfort. We brought our own dog beds, but one dog liked the dog bed that the host provided. We did take advantage of all the outdoor amenities the property offered. The pool and hot tub were a hit! S’mores at the fire pit and hanging out together in the cool night air was also relaxing, after exploring the trails on the property. We will certainly beck some time in the future. We are all in agreement, best family vacation, yet!

This was our 2nd time staying at Sandi’s place and just like the 1st time we had a good time. There’s so much to do on the property (for all ages). The host are super nice and friendly and you discover something new every time you visit.
