This place is super cozy and felt like living in a rustic cabin up in a tree house. The location is superb in Santa Barbara, beds very comfortable, and the shower was outstanding. This is not a property for someone with mobility issues as it has steep stairs. The yard was fun for our preteen and our dog to play. Please also note that it's a quiet area and music cannot be played outdoors. There is a 10pm neighborhood noise rule. The sound of birds and frogs at night from the deck was peaceful! The backyard is not private as other people also stay here, and you can hear people occasionally walking on the floor above you, but it wasn't a bother. Rebecca was a kind and responsive host and we'd stay here again for sure. It was clean and you can't beat the proximity to the beach and the town.

We had an amazing stay here and it made our mom and daughter trip extra special. We were really impressed at how efficient the use of space is and loved cooking in the kitchen with the open windows. The location has a stunning view that feels secluded and in nature while only being 5 min from town. The only thing we would do differently next time is pack lighter - carrying our checked luggage up the gravel path to the Airbnb was a bit of a workout. Definitely doable but would suggest a carry on or just a weekend bag if possible :) We would absolutely stay here again if we’re back in the area!

Loved Catie's place for its outdoor serenity, beautiful interior and thoughtful decor. I love that it felt homey and lived in with a gorgeous bookcase replete with books, magazines, light-filled spaces, while also feeling like a state of the art airbnb with its cleanliness, peaceful and rustic outdoor spaces, and overall vibe. My cousins and I came to both see Ojai and hike in the Channel Islands so Catie's place was an ideal base. We were able to do some great hiking nearby in Ojai (even saw a mama bear and two cubs), have a Spa day, eat great food nearby, spot a celebrity, and take a day trip to Channel Islands. It was alway reassuring to know at the end of the day we would return to Catie's beautifully appointed serene home. Would definitely stay again.

Kathleen’s place is just as described in an excellent location — such a short walk to lovely restaurants and shops. The Petite Retreat was clean, well-stocked with kitchen needs and toiletries, and quiet and peaceful at night. Kathleen was very friendly and responsive to all questions, giving many incredible recommendations. This was the perfect spot for a solo weekend getaway, and I will be back.

Certainly plan to return to Papa Dux the next time we’re in town. The location was superb and the host very friendly and responsive. We took advantage of the beach bikes offered with the facility and enjoyed the less than five minute bike ride down to the beach daily. The deck off the living room is a perfect place to start and end the day in a beautiful location!

Mary is such a kind and considerate host! She was so flexible with my friends and me. This was my second time staying at her home because I had such an incredible experience the first time. This time was just as peaceful, lovely, and wonderful as the first. Mary was kind enough to send me local recommendations and respond to my questions before, during, and after my stay. Her home feels like such a magical sanctuary that for a moment made me forget I was even in LA. My friends and I found comfy spots outside to meditate and listen to the sounds of the frogs, coyotes, owls, bees, and the other gorgeous sounds of Topanga. I truly cannot recommend Mary’s Airbnb enough and I will absolutely be staying here yet again in the future.

This is my favorite place to stay in Carpinteria. Taylor is very nice and the place is terrific. It's very quiet and you can sit in the living room with a view of the mountains. The outside smells great with lemon and orange trees nearby. Taylor has great taste and the place is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. It has high ceilings and it very airy. Thank you!

This place really was more of an all-encompassing experience than just a place to stay. From the goats, chickens, horses, goats to the amazing game room, vintage records and a million other amenities. My family loved the place so much and never wanted to leave. We really got to enjoy the farm life (for a few days) while not having to do any of the farm work, and while living in an amazing house. Definitely the best place we’ve ever stayed at, and I couldn’t recommend this place more!

It was perfect for our entire family! 🩷We came to Disneyland for a couple days for our daughter’s birthday and were very lucky to find this home! We all loved the themed rooms and everything it offered😊 The home provided everything and anything you would think of that you would need for your trip! It was truly amazing! Debra and Jim were amazing host! Always checking in and willing to help on anything we needed 🫶 We highly recommend this home for anyone who has a big family and is traveling together ☺️ Will definitely book again!

We needed a place last minute as all places in Ojai were booked. It was a perfect spot to relax, walk the grounds, visit the animals and still have privacy. Also a short easy drive into town.

Deze ranch heeft zo'n grandeur. Heel grote woning met zeer ruime kamers en badkamers en bijzonder grote, goed geëquipeerde keuken. Alles is perfect in orde. Dit huis is zeer functioneel en groots. Er valt niets op aan te merken. Alles is perfect in orden. Enkel, wat meer aankleding (gordijnen in de leefruimte, versiering aan de muren) zou ze nog geweldiger maken, maar dit doet totaal geen afbreuk aan de grote kwaliteit van de woning en is eerder kwestie van smaak. Casey is een bijzonder goede gast, bijzonder hulpvaardig, flexibel en vriendelijk. De ligging is bijzonder rustig. De vele planten, bloemen, bomen en de dieren maken dat je een buitengevoel hebt, ook al ben je vlakbij LA.

The farmhouse is a fun little getaway. It’s close to the Ronald Reagan library which is cool. All the people who work the ranch were super friendly. Enjoyed the horses and goats. Would definitely come back again when the weather cools down. Brandon was a great host.

Charming and serene cottage with a beautiful and thoughtful aesthetic throughout the home. Private and relaxing spot for a beach getaway. Nice outdoor space for our toddler and two pups. We would love to stay here again.

AnhThu’s place was great. Very close to Disney and lots of food and shopping options. AnhThu was very responsive and flexible. The house actually felt bigger than I was expecting. The only thing that I didn’t see mentioned before booking was that there is another property on top of this one so you can pretty much hear the guest upstairs. They were respectful of the quiet hours for the most part though so it was fine. I would definitely stay here again if available!
