We had a fantastic visit to the villa! Everything was perfect, from Kim’s communication to the comfortable bed and space to relax. We loved the location, steps away from the beach and within comfortable walking distance to restaurants. Just about a half hour drive to Disneyland, we were able to easily plan a trip there with ease during our stay. I felt like I was right at home in the villa, the moment we opened the door you are met with the scent of fresh laundry as all the towels and bedding, and throw blankets were freshly laundered. The kitchen was spotless as was the bathroom and shower. And the water pressure and temperature in the shower was fantastic! Felt great after the long days at Disney. Kim was an excellent communicator, responding quickly when we chatted. She even gave us restaurant recommendations and tips on things to do. I can’t wait to return! This property is a gem - do not hesitate to book!

Location and house couldn’t be better for great day time activities. Our kids loved it (15 yo) they were able to safely go about their days independently. House was beautiful, airy, bright. As stated in some reviews bring earplugs for the primary as it faces a busy street and by 7am it gets noisy. But we’ll be back. Totally worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at Lost Shaker of Sea Salt! Lisa and Morgan were exceptional hosts and very communicative and caring throughout our visit. They ensured we had all the information we needed and frequently checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The property itself is beautiful, with stunning views and all the amenities we could ask for. It was a perfect getaway, and we felt right at home. Kathleen’s place is just as described in an excellent location — such a short walk to lovely restaurants and shops. The Petite Retreat was clean, well-stocked with kitchen needs and toiletries, and quiet and peaceful at night. Kathleen was very friendly and responsive to all questions, giving many incredible recommendations. This was the perfect spot for a solo weekend getaway, and I will be back.

The house was so cute and just as described and pictured. We were traveling for a baseball tournament and had 5 boys so they loved the bunk beds and extra beds in the loft. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle boards and all the boogie boards. There was even a wagon to haul the boogie boards and beach chairs they had for use across the street to the beach which was great! We appreciated the one parking spot but we did have 2 cars so parking was difficult to find at times for the second car in the street but it all worked out. The sound of traffic could be heard from the loft room but wasn’t too bad with the window closed. We loved our stay, the hosts were great and responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to any travelers to include with with kids. The rooftop had amazing views and even all the neighbors were friendly. Loved it! Thank you!!

Carla is a wonderful host. Her place is very charming. Comfy beds and amenities. She provides everything you could possibly want in an away from home experience. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, enjoying the beach or just taking a relaxing walk. We will definitely book again.

I had a fabulous stay! The bungalow was perfect, it looked exactly like the pictures, the location was gorgeous, and very close to what you may need in Malibu. Waverly was super communicative and responsive, which made checking-in easy and getting any questions answered. The bed was super comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, everything was immaculately clean upon arrival. The views from the deck are gorgeous and the beach access below the house was perfect for me and my dog. The beach isn't accessible to the road so it's great to keep your pup safe. There are dog bowls to use, plenty of towels for the bathroom and the beach, several beach chairs under the house. I felt perfectly safe in the area, the WIFI was fast as I had to work. Overall I had a lovely stay and will definitely be back!
