James is an excellent host who was very communicative and had great pre-arrival instructions including a video. The space had queen beds in each bedroom although one is in a corner and a futon in living area you could sleep on but only for a short visit. Kitchen was stocked sufficiently enough for us to cook one meal of spaghetti and we enjoyed eating in the delightful courtyard area. Lush landscaping was enjoyed and the ability to launder some clothes with provided laundry soap was very helpful! Note the instructions on fridge to turn on gas to cottage if heat is needed. The space provided a place for two couples to stay but I wouldn’t recommend any women staying in this area alone.

Super cute and simple space. Parking was easy. Great location and easy to get attractions in the area. Jamie was always quick to reply through the app. Her dogs were super cute and friendly also.

Nice location - convenient and comfortable. Patrick was a great host - very responsive and helpful. We had a lot to accomplish in one week and this space was perfect to get some work done, relax and rejuvenate, and spend time with family. Since we had nice weather, the front screen door was especially nice for us to enjoy fresh air and sunshine.

My son & I were in the area for a high school tour & wow, we were so blessed to have coupled that with staying in the Fantastical Cottage. There was no one else staying in the Glass House adjacent to us, so we had the entire area to ourselves. We brought our pup, cooked all meals in the open-air kitchen, enjoyed the open-air shower, hammock, lovely pool & spa, trampoline, birds galore, dreamy tree swing, & were nourished by the hens’ offerings for breakfasts. Each used space was very clean. No cell service meant no interruptions & we were able to truly enjoy being with each other on the land. We are outdoor & nature lovers, so for us this was a perfect fit! Jennifer is a wonderful & communicative host.

The place was super comfortable and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking really easy. Just keep in mind that there’s no extractor, but the ventilation is good. The bed was very comfy, and all the appliances worked perfectly. The shower was great, with good water pressure and no issues at all. Even though it’s an older place, it’s very well maintained, and we had no issues during our five-day stay. The location was perfect, really close to the beach and in a nice area. My mom and I had a great time, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Five stars - There was a scheduling mix up over the holiday weekend with the cleaning service before we arrived but our host, Rachel, quickly came over with cleaning supplies in hand and took care of it all, making it really nice & clean for our weekend stay.

If your soul needs to be replenished, this is the place to refill. Gordon’s filled with enthusiasm and will make your stay unforgettable Just a short escape from LA, and suddenly.. you’re in a different world. Birds chirping like natures alarm clock, crisp mountain air brushing past endless greenery, and stillness that calms the busiest minds I feel much better prior and feel well rested, calm, hopeful and calm. Lovely happy place. Beautiful peaceful and great friendly hosts. I felt at home and will be back. My dog loved sitting outside in a nice gated area & I got her many selfies on the flower wall.

an amazing trip! christopher gave us some great recs for restaurants and they were really yummy and affordable. the guest studio was pretty and felt very serene. the nearest beach is a 20 min walk but only a 4 min drive with lots of free parking. downtown sb was also 15 mins away driving and very fun. the location is an absolute steal with great things to do in carpinteria like seal watching (so cute!) and some fun shopping and food in sb as well! highly recommend

Peaceful and relaxing stay. Hosts were friendly and helpful (and super friendly Ziggy too!). The Biggest Pro I didn't even realize I needed was the calm and ease of the neighborhood. We were always going, going, going with an event and activities, and here we could escape and decompress in this serene quiet space. I meet up with several friends staying at a nearby hotel and the stress they experienced with underground parking garages, broken down elevators, busy & one-way streets and entries was a lot. We got to completely avoid that and pull right up outside, park, and walk right in - no stress!

Dana and Chris have done a great job creating this peaceful and private retreat. It’s secluded from the main house and has nothing but mountains behind it. Got to see 3 deer during my stay. Super quiet - no road noise, no distractions, it was awesome!

We felt really comfortable at this place, it has all the right staff to make your stay great. Good location, a quiet neighborhood, good restaurants in the area. Nichola is a great host.

We were visiting LA for our grandson's 1st birthday. We were so happy with our accommodation. Silvia was always great with communication. Always replied within a reasonable time. Silvia's tiny house was spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed. The shower was great. Always hot water. In walking distance to the supermarket. My husband and I have stayed in many airbnbs and this one we couldn't fault. Not a large space but it had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. Also having a washing machine and dryer was an added bonus. We will certainly stay in this airbnb again when visiting LA.

It didn't feel like a tiny house, it was like a little cottage. We felt very safe and found it to be a beautiful and terrific location for branching out into day trips: LA, coast, Disney, National parks. We had a fabulous trip.

This was our 2nd stay in a couple weeks due to the fires and it was so nice to be back as we feel at home in this cozy cottage. Everything we could need in a beautiful, zen environment. Love the neighborhood, my husband and I felt safe walking later every evening. Wonderful town in walking distance with a great selection of amazing restaurants. Gillan is special host. She’s been so helpful to us during displacement from the Eaton fire. Thank you again for your hospitality!

This was such a beautiful place both inside and out! It was so peaceful and every detail was thought out! It truly was a spectacular getaway and they were super helpful with any questions! We highly recommend when you just want to getaway in God’s beauty and get refreshed!

Jill and Brian’s place is a tranquil oasis in LA! I had a lovely stay. They were very friendly and responsive, provided thorough/clear/easy check in and out instructions, and made me feel right at home. The accommodation was cozy and clean. Favorite things about this spot: designated and secure parking spot, hanging out in their garden in their backyard (lots of areas to sit and drink coffee), Nespresso machine with cream and sugar, snacks, comfy bed, quiet neighborhood, and they do your dishes for you! They even did my dishes and left the clean ones in a cute basket at my front door! This is a must stay when in LA!

Excellent place. I've stayed here 3 times & it will continue to be on my list of places to stay when I visit LA.

My husband and I rented the cottage for 2 nights and it had everything we needed to stay cozy and snug. We especially liked the little wall heater and all the thoughtful touches… Extra towels, salts for soaking. Have already recommended to friends and would stay again. The cottage felt very private and the sounds of coyotes, birds and olive and pepper trees blowing in the breeze were superb. Bravo David.

Beautiful place to stay with flowers and a great hot tub. The host was very kind and great at communicating. I will definitely look into staying again if I go back to LA.
