A lovely retreat! Close to the lake, and the river. The trail behind the house was perfect, and the kids even enjoyed the basketball hoop and pickleball court at the end of the trail. The garage has so many great amenities, and the game room was such a blast! Kitchen fully stocked (we made almost all meals at home), beds super comfy with plenty of room for all in the home. Hosts had spot on recommendations for swimming as well. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a fantastic weekend at Scott’s place. The accommodation was just beautiful and our family all enjoyed all the amenities available. We spotted deer at the front of the house, which was a lovely start to our day, had a walk down to the lake which seems a lot lower than usual but still a beautiful view and easy walk. We also visited Granny D’s for breakfast, which I highly recommend to anyone staying in Canyon Lake. We also had a slight issue with the plumbing on the first day but Scott was super responsive and got everything sorted for us in record time. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

Tim was a wonderful host. He was responsive during the holiday and that is extremely appreciated. The lake was significantly lower than expected but nothing can be done about Texas drought! Overall, me and my family had a great time and got to see a lot of wildlife!

We had our wedding in this airbnb and it has so much space the photos don’t do it justice! The views are gorgeous and much bigger in person! It felt very private and safe. We would definitely recommend this property to any of our family and friends!

Nice, clean and private. Great big windows in the front of the house, We requested window shades for privacy at night, completed, and very responsive. There was a minor issue with the heating, fixed, very responsive! There was a small issue with the dryer, fixed, very responsive! The deer 🦌 were our special guests, they visited us every morning and throughout the day until sunset. The area has septic systems therefore we suggest drinking bottled water. The east window has a great view of the sunrise! Ample space for a family with kids with the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. Cable service was great, never had dropping problems. Very close to restaurants and retail stores. Unfortunately, due to the drought they have been experiencing for the last couple of years, we were unable to enjoy any water activities in the Canyon Lake. There is no water activity at all. Our stay was wonderful. We've been going to New Braunfels for years and this has been a favorite stay. Check in was easy, the house is in a great spot, has easy river access, and we loved that there was plenty of space for the entire family to spread out and be comfortable. Our one year old grandson had plenty of room to play in a safe place. The sunroom or the screened in porch is a perfect spot for coffee in the morning and having the chairs and BBQ pit were perfect for the evening. We floated twice from Little Ponderosa and got out right at the house which was great especially since some chose to just hang out in the river by the house. We will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you for being great hosts!

Our second time here and we will be back! You can watch the wildlife from the patios and enjoy nature. We rode our bikes around the neighborhood and stopped to feed some deer. The house was clean and Colin was friendly and answered any questions we had.

We stayed here for a sister’s trip which was a group of 4. We had plenty of room and the location was perfect. It was about a 10 min drive from New Braunfels main stores and 25 mins from River Rd. We enjoyed going in town/being on the river and then back to peace on the lake without the crowds. The place was clean, and kitchen had everything we needed to take turns cooking. We’d stay again!

This is probably one of the better Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at. It’s obvious they have put in the effort and took the time to truly understand how hospitality operates. The Casitas are perfectly situated location wise, and are all new construction with modern amenities. Being able to walk down to the river where there’s a fireplace as well as having a fireplace outside your back door was truly a treat as they provide plenty of firewood and such. They also have a golf cart rental available, which I do suggest if you plan on staying a few days. Make sure to pay attention to their local recommendations as all of them were very true. We are already planning our return trip.

Great, cozy spot! Love how it’s so close to the town of Wimberley but still secluded enough to feel as if you’re camping in the Austin hills. Bed & bedding super comfortable, clean, & spacious!

My husband and I spent the weekend at this cozy little cabin and really enjoyed our stay. The king bed in the master is extremely comfy. It was just the two of us so we didn't sleep in the extra bedroom but I'm sure it was comfy too. The linens smelled so fresh and the pillows were great. The location is excellent! It's a short walk to Wimberly square which made it nice. Parking in the square is a challenge so being so close made a big difference. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the evenings. Having breakfast at the Wimberley Cafe is a must. They serve breakfast until around noon on the weekends and it's not only good, but very affordable. If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax, I would highly recommend the Creek Cabin. We will definitely book this cabin again on our next trip to Wimberley.

We had an amazing stay for a quick girls trip. The cabins had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, salt, pepper, oil, etc. AC and fans worked perfectly in this Texas heat and we were very pleased with how cool it remained for the duration of our trip. It was very peaceful and the best part was being right on the river, which flowed really well past the cabin and made for a great day, sitting in the water and enjoying the surroundings. Lots of people kayaking through or nearby fishing. Next time I’m definitely going to bring my pole, lots of big fish in the middle of the river and it’s walkable for about 100 yards up river and about 150 yards down river, on the other side of the rapids. 100%, will stay again.

Location is great with a great environment, homely, close to river and beautiful view. Provied all the basic needs. Great service. We recommended this place is great for family and friends gathering.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay at. Lake to wake up to every morning. Kayaking and fishing was fun! My family enjoyed it!

This place was perfect for our getaway weekend to New braunfels for the Pickle festival at Comal Fairgrounds which was only about 15 minutes away! The place was great, Pam was amazing to deal with, giving us directions, recommendations for places to eat etc and we loved all the extra touches to make our stay special. Cabin was stocked so we didn’t need to bring the necessities like coffee and creamer :) We even got to feed treats to Butch and Jenny! Also, very welcoming space for our dogs too which was one of the reasons we chose this cabin because it is pet friendly. We loved our stay and would definitely book again when coming to the area.
