Les pubs cachés de Londres

Join us for a 3hr historical stumble down the "street of shame". Starting in the shadow of the iconic St.Paul's cathedral, we explore the tiny backstreets and rambling courtyards the ancient City of London is famous for. We follow in the drunken footsteps of literary greats including Dickens, Shakespeare, Pepys & Johnson whilst pausing for a drink in at least 4 of the most historic pubs dating as far back as the 1500's. From discovering art nouveau gems to glamorous Victorian gin palaces we enjoy a variety of pub styles and breweries along the way. It's not a prescriptive tour, so you choose & pay for your drinks along the way. We're here to offer recommendations, and you can often "sip before you sup" with a few tasters on request from the bars along the way. This allows you to indulge as much or as little as you desire! Non-drinkers can soak up the history, and wine & gin-lovers are also well catered for. We usually finish up on the edge of Covent Garden perfect for theatre-land, restaurants and of course more pubs! Other note: - Guests are recommended to be over 18 years of age to enjoy the walk at its best. Anyone lucky enough to look under 25 years of age should bring photo ID - Group sizes of up to 14 participants - Alfie the dog is not always in attendance. Sorry! N.B. Get to know Hackney the local way! • To begin, we’ll step into my world as a painter with a hands-on session in my Hackney studio, a lively space shared with other artists. You’ll get a feel for mixing colours and making paint, discovering your own creative instincts along the way. • Through experimenting with pigments and mixing colours from scratch, you’ll see how they interact in unexpected ways. No experience is needed—just a willingness to explore! You can take your experiments home as a keepsake of the day • Then, we’ll explore some of the neighbourhoods hidden gems, from spots filled with music to the perfect place for a coffee break, plus shops overflowing with unique finds. There will also be some animal and nature encounters sprinkled along the way.

Step into the vibrant world of the Bracey family’s neon art, where I’ll share a behind-the-scenes look at how our neon lit up everything from London’s West End to the big screen in Hollywood. • Our time will begin with a guided tour of our neon-filled showroom, which we call God’s Own Junkyard, where you’ll hear the story of how my family illuminated 1970s Soho, transforming it into a world-famous neon spectacle. • We’ll share firsthand stories about how the family craft has been intertwined with London’s film legacy for decades, including collaborations with legendary directors Stanley Kubrick and Ridley Scott, and iconic films like Eyes Wide Shut, Batman, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Iron Man, and more. • Next, one of the world’s top neon glass benders will demonstrate their rare skills, while also sharing stories about how neon pieces ended up in the private collections of icons like Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney. • We’ll cool down with a hot drink at the on-site cafe, where we can catch up on our favorite moments from the day. We’ll hit the streets of London seeking out the most beautiful tourist landmarks, secret squares, and I will share with you my favorite spots of this wonderful city while I capture the moments for you. The streets, architecture and historical places of London will take on a new meaning, in the parts you would otherwise not see on tourist brochures. Depending on the circumstances on the photoshoot day, I’ll pick one of those areas mentioned in the location section. Through this photoshoot, you’ll not only experience the art of London’s streets but I’ll also teach you how to take incredible photos with your own camera or phone. Within a week, I will share the very best images from your shoot (100+ images) in raw format and low quality via a secure online gallery. You can choose your favourite photos to be edited (20 photos), that's simply because I'd prefer to deliver a few GREAT photos rather than 100+ average ones. Within 2 weeks, I’ll deliver the final version of your photos beautifully edited at no additional or hidden charge. This is a PRIVATE photoshoot for 1 person lasting for one hour, if you're 4+ people you'll get a 20% discount. The maximum duration for each session will be 2 hours. Starting at Tower Hill Underground Station, exit via the ticket hall, this walking tour will cover a range of working Women and the mark they left on London's East End. The Tour will walk pass the places of interests and memorials of women who rarely have their stories heard. The women who feature on this walking tour include the ‘first feminist’ Mary Wollstonecraft, members of the East London Suffragettes, Sylvia Pankhurst, the Match Women of 1888 & the Women who were killed by Jack the Ripper. The tour will also highlight the daily problems and struggles the working class women faced and discuss the solutions that were introduced by the middle and upper classes to attempt to solve these working class problems and improve the women's lives. This tour will last approximately 2.5hours and will finish at Spitalfields Market

Create your own jewellery piece with the Stööki Craft Makers. Get an insight in to the jewellery making process. A wax ring or pendant master to customise with your own design. A tutorial covering a range of jewellery making techniques. This workshop will be focused around the creation and personalisation of rings and pendants and led by Stööki's jewellery technologist Nadia Abbas. Prices to get jewellery made are as follows: Silver ring (£80) Sterling Silver 22k gold-plated ring (£105) Silver pendant (£85) Sterling Silver 22k gold-plated pendant (£110) Sterling silver curb necklace (£20) Solid 9k / 18k Gold (*Quote given on request. We will weigh your finished piece and calculate the cost using current gold value prices at the end of the session.) *Please note that these prices include the wax to make a ring or pendant the maximum size of the template provided at the workshop (4mm width). If you would like to receive a bigger template we are happy to provide you with one on the day. At the end of the session we will weigh your finished wax creation and charge you based on the extra weight of the chosen metal, plus an additional £5 casting fee. All experience levels welcome!

Other things to note We run our tours in all weathers unless it is truly extreme (think snow storm!), and advise that you dress for the weather and bring an umbrella if needed. London landmarks in a Black Cab

See London on this epic Black Taxi adventure. There are original Roman remains that surrounded London almost 2000 years ago. They are hidden from view and is part of a secret London that only a few know. Sit back and see the best views of Tower Bridge and The Tower of London in my electric taxi. It has a panaramic roof, so you feel totally immersed with views all around. We'll stop to take some photos at all the best places. I will gladly be your photographer so everone is in the picture! See Saint Paul's Cathedral. The famous Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, on the south bank is next. From there we can take in the best views of the City of London. Trafalgar square and the King's official London home Buckingham Palace is next. Get up close as we drive past, not all vehicles are allowed to do this. Then on to Westminster Abbey where all royalty have been crowned since 1066. Then on to The House's of Parliament and Big Ben. We will drive by the final landmark the iconic London Eye before I drop you off in Covent Garden where you can enjoy some lunch in one of the many bars and restaurants or you could do some shopping. London filmmaking and creators class

We will start with a coffee to find out more about your level and what you would like to learn, then we will go out to film and I will teach you all the basics of filming, sound recording, lighting, gimbal moves, etc while we create a video of yourself around London. We will start from London Bridge, Tower Bridge and going to St Pauls Cathedral. In the end, You will have the opportunity to take the footage with you to edit yourself if you bring your laptop or I can send it in a link. If you wish the video edited I could edit it for you, but that needs to be paid separately and will depends on the style of video you would like.

Les secrets du vieux Londres

Walking through the ancient streets of London, you'll learn what lies beneath your feet, from 14th century Black Death victims to a long lost Roman Ampitheatre. Standing by some of the most foreboding locations in the city, I'll tell you about the gruesome executions which took place here, and the partying and revelry which accompanied them! You'll be taken within the shell of a church destroyed in the Blitz, and be led into the park which displays one of the most touching memorials to self sacrifice you could possibly imagine. The walk lasts 1.5 hours and will leave a lasting impression of a different side to London's deep and extraordinary history. Other things to note Your guide will be easily identifiable with a flag and friendly smile. There are no toilet or refreshment breaks during the tour, so please be prepared.
