Lovely stay at James house. Met the cleaner who was very friendly and welcoming catering to our needs. Hot tub was lovely. House very clean and decor modern and up to date, well maintained. Didn’t explore the local area too much but loch leven is near by if you have a car. Pub across the road looked nice and small co-op within walking distance for bits. Many takeaways in the area to choose from on just eat.

We were in a difficult situation after our original booking fell through, and this property truly came to our rescue. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, managing to find space for our large group on short notice. The property itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We couldn’t be more grateful for the hospitality and flexibility shown, especially considering the stress we were under. Thank you so much for making our weekend memorable despite the initial setbacks. Highly recommend this place

We really enjoyed our stay at this quirky, interesting house. It’s an Aladdin’s cave of books, music and art work. And a very comfortable place to relax after a busy day exploring the beach and Edinburgh. The beds were comfy, the shower powerful, plenty of chairs, access to wifi, an Alexa, hot tub (we were so grateful for this to cool down in on the hottest day of the year!), a projector to watch films and tv shows using iPlayer and Amazon Prime and lots of towels. We were appreciative too of the wine and coffee left for us. The house is 2 minutes from the beach and there are plenty of local shops and cafes around the corner. The next door neighbour is a lovely chap who was happy to answer questions. Our children were delighted to look after their affectionate cats. I would recommend staying in this house. Thank you Thea and family for letting us stay in this family home built with love.

Dawn was a great host and quickly responded to messages. She was friendly and provided clear instructions. She kindly met us at the property and showed us around upon arrival. The onsite parking for 2 cars was a bonus. We were provided with freshly baked bread and eggs from the hens which was much appreciated and a very nice touch. The house was amazing, tastefully decorated, clean and warm - very homely and private, yet close enough to walk into town. There was lots of beautiful walks nearby and we were a short drive to local attractions. We stayed for 2 nights and were so busy that we unfortunately never got the chance to use the sauna and hot tub, however Dawn was more than willing to get things ready for us had we found the time to use it. A great place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our break and would stay here again if we return to the area. Thank you.

We stayed at Wester Walston Lodge to celebrate my mums 60th birthday. We had an amazing time and the lodge had everything we needed. We especially loved the hot tub and the private gardens. Would recommend and we would like to return in the future.

Our family had a truly delightful stay over the festive period. The accommodation was clean and well designed, with a layout that balanced communal and private spaces. The inclusion of quiet areas provided a welcome retreat, giving us a sense of relaxation throughout our stay. All facilities were maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and functionality, which greatly enhanced the overall experience. A thoroughly enjoyable and memorable visit. Highly recommended.

We had a group of 9 including two older couples in their 70’s. This property was easy for them to stay on main floor. The upstairs living room was divine. I only wish the skies complied so we could have used the telescope. The other adults enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Such perks after a long rainy/foggy day walking in Edinburgh. It is about 35 min from city. We took the bus X5 and 124 which was easy 8£ and gave local views of villages. We also used taxi service (Finlay) recommended who was prompt and friendly with stories. Bedding and linens were clean and comfy. Loved having a diff option for hot tub vs shower towels. Great areas to lounge and relax. We got coffee every am across the street at the Leddie.

Really enjoyed our stay for a family celebration, great open plan kitchen, living, dining and garden lovely for spending time altogether. Flexible bedrooms - able to make one a twin. Clean, well equipped and luxurious feel. Two full bathrooms. Street is quiet, feels safe and parking easy, no shops, cafes, bars etc. within close walking distance. Bus or Uber both easy to get into city centre and was nice to escape the hustle and bustle after a day sightseeing and at the festival. Suspect price was higher due to time of year and compared to other properties we viewed were very happy we chose this one. Rachel was very prompt with communication, instructions, restaurant recommendations and help when required.

Very welcoming upon arrival, showed us where everything is. Good appliances. Comfy atmosphere. Very willing couple, will help you out with what they can! Eg; directions, places to eat/drink. Hot tub nice and clean. Can’t fault the place or the hosts. Genuinely a good night stay. Recommend 100%

To only give this Airbnb a 5 star rating feels very unfair, if I could have given it higher I would have. The property was beautifully presented, had amazing large communal spaces, with a very high standard of furniture, furnishings, and cleanliness. Our room was spacious and luxurious. The beds were great quality, and it was full of nice extra touches. The hosts were extremely generous, gracious, and friendly. A fantastic experience for us that will be hard for anyone else to top. We will definitely try to book this accommodation in the future when we are in the area. I have been fortunate enough to have many great experiences using Airbnb, but this was easily the Best.

Me and my husband stayed at Kevin’s place to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had a nice relaxing stay and the pod just had everything we needed. Kevin was very helpful if we needed anything.

We loved every minute of our stay here. The cabins were superb. Very clean and well maintained. They were even bigger than expected. The grounds were also very well maintained and kept. It was a lovey quiet place, and felt so homely. There was a ‘visitor/guest’ book left and it was so helpful with local directions etc. We have already started looking at dates I we can book to stay again. 5 star rating from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a fantastic weekend we had a few wee issues but expected due to time of year and extreme weather been having however James sorted this without any fuss and got us back up and running. Our pod was lovely and the hot tub was lovely and well maintained and clean. Nice and peaceful and just lovely to get away and relax. Very private and the views are spot on, we enjoyed our weekend that much we have booked again for my birthday in April, counting down the days.

Three letters….. WOW…… Samantha & euan were the most pleasant hosts and very helpful. The grounds itself was very idyllic…we took our dog so there was plenty space for him to run around and we enjoyed lovely walks around the place. The view was incredible, waking up every morning with the lake right infront of you was just amazing. There was swans & geese on the grounds too which was a delight to watch each day. The lodge itself was very clean and beautiful inside, everything was at high spec and you could see the personal touches in each room. I loved all the pictures, they represented the grounds which I thought was lovely. We had a beautiful fire to enjoy at night and we also managed to heat the Swedish bath tub with no trouble. I’ve always been to places with hot tubs but now I’m converted. The water was fresh and straight from the tap (no chemicals needed) and the water stayed hot for ages. We enjoyed this at a lot. We will be absolutely be back. Definately worth a visit. 🌼

Everything was absolutely perfect. The inside of the pod was spotless and the view was so beautiful. Hot tub was heated up for us getting there and we got quick responses for any questions we had. Will 100% be back, miss it already.

The lodge itself is very cosy but has all amenities for a couple days stay, the outdoor hot tub was fantastic with scenic veáis of the surrounding landscape.

Beautiful cabin with post-card picturesque views. It was a true winter wonderland which made for a lovely experience. The heavy snow did mean we chose to not use the hot tub as it does take a while to heat up and we preferred to stay in the warmth of the cabin but that just means we’re keen to come back again to make full use of the cabin and the surrounding things to see/do! Host was helpful and responsive, and all the information ahead of the stay helped us have a stress free trip.
