It really felt like home from home, with all facilities you could want. Lovely quiet cul de sac and a great location for walking into the city, exercising the dogs and plenty of interesting running routes.

We stayed in Scott's place at the end of October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and was well equipped. The location is a little remote and while the bus is a short walk away and taxis are available, a car is really needed. The upside of this is that there are some lovely walks around. Penicuik is a 40 min walk away. I would definitely recommend Scott's house.

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. Jamie is an absolutely lovely host and the flat is beautiful and spotless. The bus stop right outside is very handy, also the Co Op just around the corner. Not the most salubrious area but nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again, an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh.

We had a lovely Christmas break in Jessica and Pumulo's amazing home. The house is very beautiful and had everything we needed for a perfect Christmas day. The kitchen is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Everything is beautifully decorated and we appreciated the festive decorations and Christmas tree. The area is very peaceful but there's lots of very good restaurants and places to eat nearby. The park at the end of the road was perfect for our dog and it was a beautiful walk along the river into Edinburgh. We didn't want to leave. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Had an amazing stay at Allan’s place. Super cosy and clean. Easy to find and near enough in the centre of Edinburgh so everything is in walking distance. Plenty of room to park in the garage. Our bottle of wine and sweet treats was a nice touch to start off our trip. Would 100% return

Everything absolutely as described. Felt homely and welcoming. Ideal for a few days exploring Edinburgh. Local supermarket 2 minute walk away was handy for milk and supplies.

Uns hat die Unterkunft super gefallen. Hier und da hätte es etwas sauberer sein können, aber alles in allem war die Wohnung ordentlich, sauber und so wie beschreiben. Das Stadtzentrum war mit den Bussen gut erreichbar. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

Nice big place. Clean and tidy. Nice little starter pack of bread milk etc left for us. Plenty of towels. Rooftop terrace with heating and use of pool. A lot of fobs and keys to use but plenty of copies provided for us. Feather pillows, would’ve preferred firmer, but that’s a personal preference. Lovely host.

Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your lovely lodge. Really felt homely and a great location close to stunning views and beautiful walks, along with easy access to public transport into Edinburgh.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Mary’s! This place truly is a find. Mary is amazing, nothing was too much to ask and her protectiveness to ensure a lovely stay was second to none. The caravan itself is beautiful, so well kept, spacious & in a lovely spot on a friendly site with so much to do just a stones throw from the front door. The bed was one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. Definitely one of our favourite stays, we will absolutely be back. Thanks Mary!

We loved our stay in Priscilla, the caravan was in a lovely location at the back of the park overlooking the golf course. Dianne was very responsive and accommodating.

Caravan very clean exactly as described. Easy to find at the top end of the park nice and quiet location. Lucy was very welcoming and checked that everything was ok.

There were thoughtful touches throughout.. Can use one heat control for the entire house, which is convenient. Good wifi, good hot water in shower. Skye was very helpful, especially when I left something behind and she offered to ship it to me.

Lovely gem of a place to stay, cosy relaxing and peaceful. Very clean and tidy. Nice safe area. 2 minute walk to bus stop which will take you straight into Edinburgh centre. Communication with Isobel was excellent. Will definitely book again on my next trip to Edinburgh.

Host could not have been more lovely or responsive! We were stuck for a day because of the Heathrow fire and staying at her gorgeous flat made us wish we had further delays! Everything has been thought of – plugs near beds, smart TVs, comfy beds and linens… Also great neighborhood! Thank you so much. I hope we’ll be back someday!

Location location location! Ideally placed to walk anywhere in Edinburgh city centre both old and new town

Axel’s place in Edinburgh was the perfect starting point in Scotland for my family and me. The apartment is located a few minutes from the city center by tram and has all the amenities you could wish for on your visit to Edinburgh. Axel himself was super proactive and more than responsive and accommodating of our wishes, even enabling us to check out a bit later than planned and making the start to the rest of our trip through Scotland a breeze. Overall, I would highly recommend Axel and his place to anyone visiting Edinburgh for a few days.

We had a lovely few days in this beautiful flat in the centre of Stockbridge. Having access to a gorgeous garden added to the enjoyment. We would highly recommend this place and hope to visit again ourselves. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond. 10/10 superb!

this was my friends first time in edinburgh and it was the perfect location for walking and for driving. although the right block was hard to find a first as soon as we made it in we felt right at home and ended up leaving our car parked the whole time. the place was perfect and the blankets were greatly appreciated. only things we would note is we couldn’t manage to use the controllers to work the tv (could just be us haha) and if you are ordering food drivers have real trouble finding the building. thank u sue for letting us stay❤️

Chris’s place had everything we needed. Close to public transport and the perfect size space for two. Really appreciated his flexibility with check in. Would definitely stay again!
