We had a fabulous stay! The place was clean and well stocked with basic kitchen cookware, including tupperware. Coffeemaker and blender and double toaster were all on the counter. The beds (all 3) were all in great shape - comfortable and clean. The couch bed and Murphy bed were very easy to set up. The facility itself is very clean and aesthetic. There are free old school video games downstairs and a foosball table. The sauna, steam room and gym are 24 hours and the hot tub and heated outdoor pool were open 8am - 10pm. It doesn't matter that there's no restaurant in the actual hotel, as it's in the Village so there are tons of food and entertainment options. The front desk was great with providing dining options and they also gave us a list of places that provide a discount.

This was my second stay and it was great! Beautiful area and property and very comfortable accommodation. I will definitely stay again if my travel plans bring me back to Auburn!

Our stay was great, the location is ideal if you want to ski at heavenly. If you want to sight see or be near the lake you might want to find something closer. The cabin was great. Warm, clean, nice views, and perfect for about 6 ppl, 4 adults and 2 kids, otherwise it might be a little tight as the 3rd bedroom is a bunk bed, and there’s only 1 bathroom. But overall we enjoyed everything, and Ally was above and beyond, responsive, helpful, and clear communicator. Thanks!

Kirkwood has started charging for parking and requiring reservations on busy days. Way to make things difficult Kirkwood! Make sure to enquire about the parking situation. The unit was wonderful. Simple, clean, warm and close to the mountain. Radiant heat in the floors and an awesome hot tub in the building too. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location in South Lake Tahoe. Nice family friendly resort with good amenities, pool, sauna, and game area and nice lobby /fireplace room to hang out it. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was a good size. Had a fireplace in the room and had a small kitchen area in the room. Overall, a really great place to stay and would stay again.

This is my second time staying at Steven’s place. Steven is very responsible and also very helpful. As an avid skier, nothing better than staying at clean, comfortable and ski in/out place. Steven’s place is perfect. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and clean house, walk to stagecoach lift! We will definitely come back again!

My friends and I were here on a vacation from work, and it was such a lovely stay! There’s a cute river walk right by the house that we enjoyed very much and very friendly and adorable goats in the front of the house! (They’re secure behind a fence) I would absolutely stay in this airbnb again!

My family has visited the Ridge Resort every summer for decades. This year, my husband and I were excited for the opportunity to stay in a separate unit than my parents and grandparents. This listing made that possible at a better experience and rate than even going through the resort directly. Luk was very responsive and the entire stay was effortless. We took advantage of the free shuttle to get around the resort. We ended up being able to stay an additional night working with the resort directly and Luk kindly guided us through that process. Great week!

Walking to lake front but not sandy beaches (those are just a short drive). Clean and quiet place. They added additional towels since we were 4 guests. Note, the bed in the other room is a double bed (as described in the listing), which is a full size bed smaller than queen. Worked for us, but something to keep in mind. It creaks just a bit when you get in / get up. Kitchen was well stocked with basics -- oil, salt, spices, utensils etc. Bedding was ample and comfortable. We went when it was cool, the heater worked well. Some things that could improve: we found soap/shampoo in the closet, but may be provide conditioner and lotion as well, this seems to be a standard in airbnbs. I generally carry some when traveling so this wasn't an issue for us.

"The Apartment" was fantastic for our month stay while our house was having work done. We loved that we could walk to many restaurants and had easy access to highway 80. The place felt much larger in person than it looked from the photos. Heating worked very well and the entire place was very cozy, and stocked well with things like tea and coffee, toilet paper, etc. Negatives as has been stated in other reviews, is that it upstairs on a busy road and can be quite loud at times, especially on the weekends and during trash pick-up and food deliveries for the restaurants across the street. This was not too big a deal for us and the location made those offsets not worth quibbling over. Only other small issue is the parking as there is no designated spot, but for most with stays of just a few nights, this wouldn't be an issue. I would not hesitate to recommending booking this place for your next stay in Auburn. Fantastic location, with a lot of space, and nice amenities.

The place was over and above my expectation. It was a beautiful place with great amenities and great space. My wife and I loved the backyard and the deck with barbeque grills. I definitely highly recommend the place to anyone. I personally rate the place to be 9.5 out of 10.

Cynthia and Bills home was incredible. It was about $200 cheaper to stay at their place than any of the surrounding hotels (and their place was much nicer)! I grew up in Placerville and knew the area fairly well so it was not hard to find. The GPS takes you directly to their home. I will be staying here again. If you are looking to stay here, please do, you will not be disappointed! The bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean and smelled nice. Everything felt like home!

We had an amazing stay at Vivienne's place. Amazing location! Really comfortable! Large space! Great for a family. I would definitely stay again. Checkout at 10 am is a little early, and be aware that the hotel charges alot for calls (tell your kids not to play with the phone). Overall it's a fabulous place- has the benefits of a hotel and an Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was cozy and beautifully decorated for Christmas, making our holiday extra special. Allison was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm, festive getaway. We came as a family of 6 and everything was perfect, clean and a very great location. Would truly recommend it and looking forward to coming back.

GREAT location! Lots of great things to do especially if you have children- very easy to access pools and village. The place was clean, the kitchen is the perfect size for a long stay. David was responsive and gave great instructions on how to access the property/check out. We will absolutely be coming back for another stay!
