My friends and I had a relaxing stay at this home. The location was great - just an 8-minute drive to Heavenly Ski Resort and easy access to Kirkwood Ski Resort, making it ideal for our snow activities. The home was spacious, providing plenty of room to unwind. On our last day, South Lake Tahoe had a power outage, but the co-host was responsive and understanding, helping us resolve any issues quickly.

The house is a great space for a large group and very well supplied. We were glad to have an office for the few that worked and still have plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The upstairs TV room and wine cooler were enjoyed every evening. In the morning, we accessed the local walking path across the street. Very nice. There's a well-kept yard on one side of the house. The back and other side are off the kitchen with a seating area, grill and hot tub. There is a machine shop on that side, and during work hours, there is grinding and other equipment sounds. Also, the house fronts a mid-busy road. FYI for guests looking for a "country quiet" stay. We would stay again as the space was really terrific and close to lots to do.

Wish we could have booked more days! Your lovely cabin is spacious with a large family kitchen/great room perfect for gathering our group of six. Well appointed kitchen with all the tools a chef could want. Views of the river are breathtaking and we loved hanging out on the deck in the hot tub. We had rain two of the three days but hiked and enjoyed the wooded trees and moss covered river rocks. Placerville is a cute town with lots of good restaurants and stores to explore. We’ll look forward to staying again. Thank you Kellen!

Our stay here was amazing. Very nice, private property. My dogs loved the river in the back and all the room they had to explore. The pool table and corn hole was really nice to have. We really enjoyed how cozy the house was. 10/10 stay we will definitely be coming back.

Our visit was such a beautiful stay. Our entire family, including our pets enjoyed the home and its amenities. It offered deck with grilling and outdoor seating for breakfast or coffee. The yard below offers fire pit with tree stumps surrounding it for s’mores. Behind the home is a clean and well maintained hot tub that the teens enjoyed. It’s very peaceful and quiet at night. The home has a great layout with well kept furniture and appliances that all functioned. The bedding felt like hotel quality and towels, as well. The hosts were great in keeping a well stocked home with everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and even a thoughtful welcome basket with coffee pods! Overall, fantastic stay. We ventured to hike at Hazel Meadow to see the waterfall. A breathtaking hike around Jenkinson Lake.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Workshop! This place immediately felt like home - if our home was full of the most amazing antiques. Gail also added thoughtful touches for our dog, and even had a balloon waiting to celebrate a birthday. I would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay in this quiet, cozy, peaceful neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised that the home felt a bit bigger than I had imagined from photos — perfect size for a couple and pets. Loved the new appliances in the kitchen, everything was very clean, and the wifi was strong and reliable for working remotely. Excellent spot for a longer term stay, nearby lots of outdoor activities yet away from the bustle. Amy was a responsive host and the stay was wonderful. Highly recommend and hope to be back again soon!

My guests and I enjoyed staying in this cabin! It had all the necessary amenities, including dog bowls and a huge amount of kitchenware. The only thing we personally missed was a ladder and a safety rail on one of the bunk beds—our guests were afraid to sleep there, so it remained empty both nights. On March 2nd, a little snow fell, and the kids had fun playing outside! 👍🏼

We stayed here to attend a wedding at nearby Forest House Lodge. Location was perfect, just a short 3-minute drive across the street from the Lodge. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, well-furnished and had a lot of character. Thank you, Robert, for a great stay!

This home is absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious and cozy! We had 7 adults/older teens plus a 3 year old and there was plenty of space for everyone to hang out altogether or have their own space. The kitchen was a wonderful place to prepare meals with ample counter space, tons of cabinets and large fridge/freezer for food storage and all the basic pots/pans and bakeware you’ll need. If you need a very sharp knife or scissors bring your own. It’s also just a few minutes from a small grocery store. The primary bedroom was spacious, has a huge walk-in closet and a great bathroom with a nice soaking tub. The bed was a little uncomfortable for me but my husband slept fine. Every room had plenty of pillows, blankets and storage. We stayed here during or kids’ spring break. We were so happy to see a good amount of snow to play in on the property for hours of fun. Overall we had great trip and would no doubt stay here again. Ally was a great host and even left us a few welcome gifts!

Kevin is a great host, very responsive! His lovely cabin made our Tahoe trip that much better. Comfy and relaxing place.

Cozy rustic cabin just a short drive to Homewood

We stayed here for a girls trip and it was a perfect place for us. We felt safe & comfortable the entire stay. Julia was super responsive and friendly. The cabin was decorated super cute, the heater worked great, and the beds were comfy. The only thing I’d note is the loft is for children, or small adults. We are both under 5’3 and could barely walk on our knees without our heads touching. I don’t think we realized how low the ceilings were until we arrived. It wasn’t a big deal for us as we are shorter gals. Just something to note if you’re doing a couples trip and you have taller husbands or friends!!!

We fell in love with Ed’s place instantly! My dog enjoyed exploring the open yard and I felt right at home, because the special care Ed puts into his house is obvious the moment you walk in. Fav features of this spacious and spotless home were abundance of natural light, live plants, modern and sushi-inspired art, comfy bed, cozy couch, office space in the loft, and jacuzzi with views. Ed is a great host with prompt replies to questions. Highly recommend staying here and would be more than happy to return.

I have stayed here multiple times and always have had a great experience. It’s a beautiful property with the full cabin in the woods experience. A beautiful night sky with the sound of nature. I highly recommend!

There was a variety of snacks that were left for us, which was very appreciated. Also the hot tub was the star of the show! The place is clan and it comes with everything that I could think of. Highly recommend.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this cabin. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, utinsels, plates, glasses, mugs, etc. The dishwasher is narrower than usual but I was glad to have it. The washer and dryer worked well, too. The Xfinity wifi was definitely fast enough to work from the cabin and for streaming. As mentioned in the description, I didn’t have cell service there via Verizon, but using the wifi calling setting on my phone worked well. I had a tasty dinner at the 50 Grand restaurant (reservations sometimes needed). There’s a full-sized Safeway grocery store in that area. There’s a reservoir nearby with a hiking trail around most of it and a waterfall. There should be a parking pass for the reservoir in the drawer. My phone mapping app found the cabin address just fine. If possible, it would be good to arrive during the day as the cabin is on a side road from the main road that is slightly tricky to find. The cabin is mostly shaded in the pine trees with midday sun.

Acomodação excelente, exatamente como nas fotos. Só vale se atentar para o quarto do segundo andar, pois o teto é bem baixo para um adulto. Como sugestão de melhoria: poderia ser disponibilizado mais taças na casa. A comunicação com o anfitrião foi muito boa, atenderam rapidamente as minhas solicitações e dúvidas. A localização é muito boa e o ambiente é muito bem decorado e muito agradável, recomendo. Eu voltaria.
