My family just spent a week at Villa Carmen (6 Adults and 1 dog) and really enjoyed our stay, there was plenty of space with an amazing outdoor area with a lovely pool. The location is perfect as it’s close to Ortigia and the coast where you’ll find some lovely restaurants. (You will need a car) The host Giuseppe was really friendly and is super responsive. He gave us some fantastic recommendations and was happy to accommodate anything we requested. Certainly recommended.

The apartment was exactly what we expected. A lovely two bedroom house with an amazing terrace to enjoy if the weather is nice. Since we were out of season, Brucoli was a quiet and peaceful place. I recommend the place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The house has amazing terrace with the view on the sea and a swimming pool. The place is better for people who have a car but even without it we had a good time: there is a store and a bar in walking distance, also there is bus to Syracuse. The host is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend to book a boat trip that host provides. We enjoyed it very much.

I was very happy with the accommodation. Stefano was amazing - he reacted immediately to any message, came to see us in and out, explained everything, and gave useful tips. I would highlight the cleanliness - the place was spotless. We (well, especially my wife) are quite particular about cleanliness and even she was absolutely happy with this place. The area is quiet and on the outskirts of the village so it could be difficult without a car - but I assume that one would not rent this place without it. A very nice beach (Amarello beach) was just a few minutes drive away. All in all, we highly recommend this place.

Location is exceptional. We went with a baby and a toddler , this couldn’t have been a better spot for a hassle free beach vacation in Sicily . Excellent view . Plenty of kids for ours to play with, plenty of toys to use at the beach , a minute away to go grab a bite or a beer from the beach. There were a few minor issues but Irene (cohost) was able to help us immediately. Couldn’t recommend more

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

We felt like being part of the family, immediately when we arrived. It’s a great location to visit Syrakus and great hikes at the sea. We sat outside every morning and evening and even got fresh eggs for breakfast

Jacopo was a very friendly host and also gave ideas for trips. The house is nicely furnished, all appliances are very new. The location is great for trips, the area itself is commercial.

This is a convenient flat with loads of great restaurants etc nearby. We recommend a great local bar/restaurant Il Quarto steak house. Proper local bar, full all the time when most other restaurants empty, wide selection of great food, proper bar staff, etc. Parking was Ok. Easy walk to the archeological park which was fantastic. Only issue we faced was that the spiral staircase to the bedroom is hard to negotiate with a large suitcase and you have to do a steep up and down staircase to access the front door - it was not too much of a problem for us as we are fit but it might be hard for some people

Federica’s apartment is even better than the description! After Naples and Palermo, this was just perfect for some time relaxing. The pool is lovely and overlooks the sea, you can swim at anytime. You can also go down some steep, narrow steps to the beach and swim in the sea with little fishes! The house is spotless, has a very comfortable bed and best of all, mosquito screens meant we didn’t need to use the air-con and could fall asleep listening to the sea! There is a lovely balcony set up with chairs and a table where you can enjoy the sea view and sunrise if you’re up early enough! All in all, perfect, a lovely bottle of wine was left for us too. I really didn’t want to leave!

What a super nice place to spent time while exploring Sicily. Allessandra is so helpful in so many ways from providing us with coffee and tea as well as reserving a table at a restaurant near by. The location is very relaxing and quite, something we really enjoyed after a long day hike or visit of any tourist sight. We were very happy with our stay and can only recommend Allessandra as a host.

Et nydelig sted! Man kan gå fra den idylliske terrassen og rett ut i sjøen. Huset er koselig og godt utstyrt. Vertinnen er svært hyggelig.

Lovely apartment. I enjoyed my stay here very much. Centrally located. Concetta and her father very nice hosts. Opposite apartment here is a good restaurant too. Close to the sea side and close to supermarket. Peeple in Pozzallo are very nice and friendly, the whole town are like a big family as all know each other. I will come again here.

Francesco hat uns noch spät abends freundlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Terrassen haben es ermöglicht schon morgens die Sonne zu genießen. Leider war im März fussläufig keine Bar erreichbar, allerdings ist Ortigia oder Avola sehr schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar, sodass für das leibliche Wohl gesorgt ist. Als Startpunkt für Ausflüge sehr gut geeignet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Francesco für die schöne Ferienwohnung.

Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato l’abitazione pulitissima sia internamente che esternamente e i proprietari,Antonella e Sergio, ci hanno fatto trovare delle graditissime bevande in frigo (non capita mai!) La casa è rifornita di tutto il necessario sia nei bagni che in cucina(addirittura le cialde del caffè!) e gli spazi sono molto comodi. Il giardino ha una doccia che permette di lavarsi in totale riservatezza e l’abbiamo apprezzata tantissimo, così come il depuratore di acqua che evita i pesanti acquisti al supermercato. Inoltre, la posizione della casa è strategica per visitare i posti più belli di questa parte di Sicilia orientale. Antonella e Sergio sono persone straordinarie: scrupolose, sempre disponibili e generose. Torneremo a trovarvi… sia l’appartamento che gli host meritano le 5 stelle!

The place is lovely overlooking the mountains and in a great location with easy drive into Siracusa, Noto, Avola etc. it is also close to lovely beaches. Priscilla is super helpful and responsive and gave us great recommendations for beaches and restaurants! One thing to note is that the property is just off a busy road so you will hear road traffic when sitting outside or having windows open.
