My husband and I spent 4 nights at this B&B and it was absolutely incredible. The hosts were very responsive if we needed anything and gave clear instructions. They also stopped by on our last day to make sure everything was okay and brought us breakfast given it was an extremely snowy evening the night before. The B&B was exactly as it was in the pictures and was a really comfortable experience. The plus was that you could see Mt. Fuji right from the front porch on a clear day. The bus stop is right in front of the B&B so we didn’t have to drag our luggage too far. The neighbourhood was very peaceful with some great restaurants and konbinis located within a 15-20 minute walk from it. Would definitely love to go back and stay there again.

The place is only 9 mins away from Kawaguchiko station. It is very easy to find as there are visible signs. You can even leave your luggage at their hostel in front of the station, before check in. When I came to Fuji, it was snowing and raining at the same time so we spent a lot of time in our accommodation. The place is very homey and they even have a heated table with blankets. There are several rooms and the views are all beautiful. Sadly, we didn’t get to see Mt. Fuji since it is cloudy.

非常漂亮的房子，卫生状况总体很好，家具古色古香，装饰得很有品位，和一般特意改造用来做民宿的房子不同，可以看出房屋整体造价不菲。房间内备品充足。在一楼和二楼都可以看到富士山。即使室外达到零度在屋内也不会感到过于寒冷。如果有机会的话还希望入住。

We loved the way the house has been decorated. Aesthetic and smart. Wonderful view of the lake from the living room and loft windows. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen ( the only Airbnb of our 2 month stay in Japan that actually had salt/ pepper/ coffee pods/ olive oil!) Reasonably well located - a 5 minute walk to the lake. There is a beautiful shrine about a 3 minute walk away. We had a car so could drive down to restaurants; it would have been a longish walk otherwise. There are 3 bicycles provided so during the summer I’m sure it would be nice to cycle around the lake and into town. The only thing we missed is storage in the rooms. I would have liked to unpack and put out some of our stuff. But there is no place in the rooms. Even finding space to open out the suitcases was tough as the bedrooms are smallish. Other than that we had a wonderful stay. And I would wholeheartedly recommend the place.

这次入住的体验非常很惊艳。首先房东非常热情的引导入住，关心我们居住情况，还提心我们去看烟火大会。房子也非常干净整洁，晚上打开空调和取暖器，和朋友在和室里聊天喝茶非常惬意。第一天由于多云的缘故只是在傍晚勉强看到了富士山，第二天一早起来居然能从房子边上的的场地就能看到富士山🗻。太赞了，传统的日式建筑、明媚的富士风光给我们一周的日本行划上圆满句号。

I would recommend this place if you’re going to kawaguchi and need a place to stay. This place was great! The place itself felt like home. The space was spacious and they had a good bathroom. The free bicycles were also great for going around kawaguchiko. The hosts were also helpful and very kind. There was a pharmacy just a minute away, restaurants near the stay, it was also near the tunnel that goes through the lake to the city.

Great host, quiet location. A place one can relax after a long day sightseeing.

Very helpful host , the house would be a bit hard to find at night but once you find it, you feel right at home , very friendly and responsive host that will help you with anything you need

This spot was perfect. If you open the back door, you have a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. On the street was even better. The host picked us up at the bus station and explained us about everything making it very easy to check in. The fun part is that he offers bikes to ride that is included. I would definitely recommend this place if you want an easy and convenient stay.

Chiyo is amazing. Also the apartment is lovely. We really recommend it for everyone who is visiting mt Fuji and the lakes for a few days !

I’m very grateful for the Host’s hospitality! As a photographer, I need to be at places for sunrise and the public transportation system isn’t the best. So what did the Host do? He let me use his electric bike to get around the city and lakes and it was a HUGE help! What would take me an hour and a half via bus/train took me around 30-35 minutes max to arrive. He went above and beyond to make use my stay was satisfying.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious apartment. The facilities and amenities were fantastic and we greatly enjoyed the traditional dining area. The view of Mount Fuji was priceless and we were extremely lucky to have seen her from the apartment during our stay. The location is fantastic- 10 min walk from the station and restuarants and 20-30 mins from parks and museums. We couldn't fault the apartment at all. Note to visitors - open up the links they provide after booking as this contains the pdf files with the exact address and key code.

Great location and clean place. Very accessible to major tourists locations

As a passing traveller, Marino's guest house surprised me! It was so clean and comfortable, and both hosts are always involved around the house. I enjoyed talking to them about their travels, and they provide valuable information about Japan for a new traveller. A space with a lot of heart and soul, thank you for your hospitality, Marino!

This place was perfect for our travels, has everything we needed and more. The location is incredible, the local town has lots of shops and restaurants and an incredible view of Fuji while also feeling quiet and serene, I’d highly recommend! The hosts helped us with any questions we had on buses and trains so we were well connected to travelling to other areas nearby.

The room is very nice, clean and comfortable. Bathroom are very clean and all area in the house smell so good. This is the best guesthouse that i ever seen!

Le logement est très bien situé à 1 minute à pied du lac yamanakako. nous avons dormis sur des futons, une expérience originale et dépaysante. les lieux communs de l appartement était top et la location de vélo est un vrai plus ! je recommande vivement ce logement et les randonnées à faire autour !

My family and I had a great time at the cottage! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our young son had a great time playing in the snow and staying warm by the fire. We also got to see lovely views of Mt. Fuji on our drive to the cottage.
