Step into samurai armor and swing a real sword

Step into the shoes of a warrior from Japan’s legendary past and join me, an actor trained in the craft of Japanese stage combat, for a rare and authentic samurai experience celebrating the elite warriors who followed a strict code of honor and discipline. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a film buff, or just looking for an exciting adventure, I promise an engaging and authentic samurai journey. • Meet at the temple, where you’ll change into a kimono and hakama and watch a master samurai perform a tameshigiri (test cutting). • Practice sword-handling techniques, swinging, and cutting using a replica sword. • Put on authentic samurai armor and use a real sword to cut rolled straw mats. Our staff will capture the experience in video and photographs using your smartphone or camera. You’ll leave having participated in a rare hands-on experience featuring real samurai blades, which you won’t find anywhere else in Japan.

Réparation de poterie traditionnelle japonaise : le Kinstugi.
