Some people are born to host and John is certainly one of those people. Where to even begin?? This place was probably my absolute favourite airbnb I’ve ever stayed in - the location is perfect and right in the middle between the famous strand district and the historic pier. The rental has everything you could want or need to facilitate a family stay. The beds are so comfortable we all had amazing sleeps. The porch is perfect for people watching and relaxing with one of Johns many books about Galveston (recommend the ghost ones!!) the breakfast items and local items from local roasters and baked goodies was sooo unexpected but so incredibly welcome. I don’t want to spoil the surprises in store so I won’t say anymore besides book this place - you won’t regret it!! Thank you so much John!

Such a beautiful house, great place to stay, good location as well. Our only issue was the fridge/freezer went out so all of our groceries went bad.

This was by far my favorite Airbnb stay EVER. The unit was beyond cozy, clean, peaceful and comfortable. The beds and linens also felt very clean and cozy! We are a family of 5 and felt we had plenty of room to feel comfortable and not right on top of eachother like we are at hotels. As well as the backyard was a beautiful space for the kids to get some play time in. We felt safe in the area. It was quiet and not rowdy at all compared to the Seawall hotels. Overall the stay here exceeded my expectations by far! The only thing I would note is the stairs to the entrance are pretty tight spacing and a little steep but absolutely do not let that hold you back from this unit because everything else is perfect. BEST AIRBNB STAY EVER. 🌊🤩

Our stay at this beautiful property was quite enjoyable. The communication with the staff was excellent, and the property matched our expectations perfectly. We found several wonderful restaurants within a short 10-minute drive, including Nate’s West End and Watermans. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would rate it highly.

Joanna was an amazing host. The home was absolutely beautiful, she greeted us upon arrival, there was a chilled bottle of champagne for us, water bottles in the fridge, coffee, donuts, and her delicious homemade crackers. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We hope to be back again and stay in this wonderful historic home. The location was perfect. Less than a minute walk to the main strand street. 2 minute walk to La Kings. Thanks, Joanna!

Mari was the Perfect Host. she was very easy to communicate with and had things at her home to make us feel welcome. (lotions soaps cream for coffee) I forgot a couple items in her home and she was willing to send them to me. very helpful. the home was just as advertised and very comfortable. highly recommend. 💯

Sharon's place was lovely and very well appointed for a family with a small child (or children). She even let us check in a couple hours early so our little one could nap. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely keep it in mind next time we stay in Galveston!
