Had a lovely couple of nights at Richard's place. We ended up staying in a different lodge called the rabbits but the area is beautiful, and there is lots of space between lodges so you are private. the lodges are beautifully designed and fantastic to stay in. If there was a downside, it would be the main road outside but once you are in the lodge, you can't hear much and it's it's pretty quiet at night. Would happily stay here again

Beautiful location, lovely and clean. Was slightly worried i would be cold going in February but the heating was perfect and i was warm the whole time. Secluded, peaceful, amazing views, just what i wanted for a few days away

This was a lovely place to stay. We were 2 couples and a dog and we all had a relaxing time at the house which has everything you need to cook and relax together. It’s a very peaceful place, I am a very light sleeper and I slept so well here! The beds were extremely comfy and cosy. The sauna and jacuzzi were perfect both times we used it we had it to ourselves which felt very special. Highly recommend it.

Lorna was a wonderful host and we'd happily return. The house was spacious and thoughtfully outfitted. We quickly settled in and felt right at home. Our beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The landscape was lovely, with easy-to-reach beaches and nearby forestry. Our dog also appreciated the enclosed front space and the complimentary water bowl. Highly recommended, and we look forward to visiting again.

We've had a lovely time staying in this beautiful Old Chapel with our two small children. The open plan style worked well for us all and the boys slept in the family bedroom which can be easily shut off from noise in the rest of the house with the door shut..... Just as hazel had described. I would have loved to have a washing machine, but we managed with hand washing and we were prepared for this as it was also clear from Hazel.

Lovely peaceful, relaxing and quiet stay at The Roundhouse that made us feel like real Hobbits! The shower was a fun experience, but not as fun as the ropeswing!

Amazing cottage- a very rare and beautiful opportunity to stay in a historic cottage and incredible location. Excellent host and communication. Everything we needed was catered for. Highly recommended. This was our second stay and hopefully more to come. 5 star experience and more

Super séjour, Très agréable, je recommande la maison des oiseaux. Il manque par contre un peu d’entretien des arbres etc à l’arrivé du gîte….

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at The Hideaway Under the Stars. It was so unlike any Airbnb we have stayed in before. Both whimsical and practical (no easy task) and with an admirable commitment to sustainability and eco - friendly living. The attention to detail within the Hobbit House was second to none - we were continually noticing something new each time we looked. We didn’t have youngsters in our party, but I can only imagine how joyful it would to experience the Fairy Glen and gardens with children. Stargazing, with the wood burner roaring and a dram in hand - bliss.

Highly recommend it to anyone staying in Glasgow!

our group of 6 and Maggie the dog had the most amazing stay here! Super clean and tidy, very comfy beds and the shower/bathrooms were lovely!! Hannah had left us some treats in the fridge and in the kitchen which was really appreciated. The location was just a 10 minute walk from Sinnington and a gorgeous pub which we all enjoyed after a hike around the area! Would recommend bringing your walking boots ! The hot tub was an added bonus which we all made use of and Maggie had the best little holiday! Hannah and her family were great hosts and really helpful. Will definitely be coming back for another stay :)

Anne was friendly and welcoming, great local knowledge and recommendations. The location is secluded and private, but just a short drive to local amenities and connections to Edinburgh. The place was clean and tidy, and had everything you could need for your trip :)

From the moment I booked Sharon made me feel at ease. Very responsive to messages and always willing to help. POD was beautiful and pristine. Bed was so comfy. Everything you need for a relaxed weekend. Already want to go back. It was the little touches that also made the weekend so special. Having some food to be able to feed the goats and local eggs. Beautiful views from the Pod. Local pub very nice. Thank you Sharon for looking after us so well. We look forward to going back too and enjoying the outside space!

We loved our stay at the Hobbit house. It was quirky, cosy, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Dusk and Dawn (the sheep) were always there to greet us outside. Katharine sent us lots of useful info and was very responsive. Would recommend!

Beautiful accommodation. Stunning views. High-end products used throughout. Lovely touches like bathrobes, slippers and dry robes. Was definitely luxury. Well appointed kitchen. We ate in as you would need to drive if you went out. We liked that though because we made good use of the facilities and hot tub. Would highly recommend.
