Guadalupe River : séjours à la ferme

The Carriage House exuded tranquility and serenity. Following a lengthy journey, we eagerly sought refuge in the inviting living space and cozy bedroom. The temperature upon our arrival was ideal, allowing us to effortlessly unwind. The accommodations boasted a comprehensive array of amenities, ensuring that we felt completely at home. As night fell, following a visit with family, we savored the peaceful seclusion of the countryside while relaxing by the gas firepit and a glass of wine. The path leading to the river is ideal for fitness enthusiasts who enjoy walking or running, especially trail running. Adjacent to the river, there is a park with a track, perfect for those looking to exercise. Additionally, the area is excellent for fishing, so be sure to bring your gear and a comfortable lawn chair to relax in the ample shade by the river, perhaps with a good book.

Linda place was great! The 7acres with mature trees was wonderful to explore with our pups! The carriage house was nice - just enough space for us and had what was needed for our weekend stay. The ranch hand was super friendly and we enjoyed having the horses around! Thanks!

This was my third time to stay at Big D Bunkhouse. Always clean, always comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Perfect for what we needed. Wish the bass pond had more water, but you can't control mother nature. Thanks DeLynn for another wonderful stay.

The stay at this place was great! I honestly think it feels bigger in person than it does in the pictures. It’s a great size for a weekend getaway for a couple or a small family. The Airbnb is on the same property as the host home but is separated a good bit and is facing away so it still feels very private. It was wide open fields all around and was very peaceful and quiet. We even got to see some cows come up to the fence. Jackie was very friendly when we met to get the key from her. It was a very cozy and comfortable stay. We stayed in November and the 2 wall A/C units did well but I could see how in the warmer months those 2 units may not be able to keep up if you like it cold, even with the provided fans.

So nice. We were there for the F1 race and had easy drive to and from the track, with a fence yard to leave our dog in. 👍🏻👍🏻

Great place, and plenty of room for our group, only suggestion I have is if you have have lots of things that need charging bring extra power strips- old houses don’t have a plethora of plugs. Super cute and charming home, I would definitely stay here again.

This hidden diamond is a serene oasis. From the moment we entered, we knew this place was well cared for. We enjoyed the beautiful walking trails that led us to wonderful breathtaking views. Our host was respectful of our privacy but always available when needed. We loved our delicious breakfast and our fresh squeezed OJ!!! Needless to say, our expectations were met and we are definitely returning!!

Very Unique property, with a location close to everything we wanted to do in New Braunfels! All hosts were very responsive and helpful. Peaceful, private, and historic vibes made for a Airbnb experience like we’ve never had before.

Red Sky Ranch was absolutely beautiful and peaceful! It exceeded expectations with its beautiful surroundings, comfy and cozy bedrooms, and spacious kitchen for making meals and spending time with my family!! The longhorns met us at the gate and made us smile. The entrance from the gate opened up to the most beautiful view of Texas hill country. A day trip to dripping springs to visit Hamilton pool with the most scenic drive was memorable and such a delight to my family. It was the perfect getaway vacation and highly recommend!! Thank you Jeffery for the experience we will remember!!

The place is way beyond the description. it is so much better. Lots of amenities, nothing is necessary since the place has everything, although it is necessary to go buy your groceries at the local store, other than that store there is a dollar general only. The bunkhouse is really confortable and everything in that place is thoroughly chosen to make you feel at home. Spotlessand comfortable. I travelled with my dogs and they also enjoyed the open space! We had such a great restful time. We could actually enjoy the silence and the surroundings! We were really happy! 😊

Super close to San Marcos and great place to visit our daughter at Texas State. Super cute barn. I have never stayed at a place that was so stocked with everything to assist with your stay! Great hosts. Hope to stay again in the future!

Loved our stay in this adorable perfect sized cabin in Texas hill country. We stayed for a wedding at camp Lucy nearby, and this was a perfect stay for our short trip. Would absolutely recommend this stay.

the views at this place really can't be overstated. It is stunning-- especially at sunrise. Perfect place to drink your morning coffee. Loved our stay here. Would recommend!

I just stayed 1 night, the house inside was as we expected. They need to work a little bit on the outside. But overall I recommend this place.

We have a lovely stay at the chick-inn coop! We picked the place knowing our nearly 2 year old would LOVE all the farm animals and the setting — this place def did not disappoint! Marty and her husband were very responsive and friendly throughout our visit. The unit was super cute and just the right amount of space for us. It’s rural Texas, so bring earplugs if you don’t want to wake up to the sounds of roosters, and don’t be too startled by the critters you may come across at night. :) Also - If you’re arriving after dark, don’t trust your gps; ours took us a bit too far down the road. Look for the lit up sign by their driveway.
