A beautiful place tucked into San Leon, TX. We originally planned to stay in Galveston but after we saw this place we immediately changed our minds. The house was nestled in a great place right off the water. We got to experience this really great area while also enjoying the calm and quiet outside of Galveston. So glad we chose it. Great amenities and wonderful hosts!

We needed a place to stay for a project that we were completing in Clearlake Shores, we found this great place at a great price and the host were very responsive. Everything was exactly what we expected and more. If the chance arises again, we would definitely will come back out and stay there again!!

Our March trip was excellent. Even though the weather was windy we still fished from the pier and caught redfish and sheepshead. There are bait stores close by, we settled in with Hillmans bait and market. Was able to get bait and also shrimp to boil…. Had crawfish and blue crab as well. Very friendly staff…. We had no issues with the house or anything on the property. It was spacious inside and out. Covered area with picnic tables was a great place for us to cook and eat and not mess up the house. Ha…. Pretty certain we will be back in the future. We have traveled up and down the gulf coast taking my grandsons on fishing trips… this is one of the better houses and locations. We don’t eat out often on our trips but Bullchicks restaurant was 2 minutes from the house and we loved their burgers. I think we had 3 visits there which says a lot about how much we liked it. If you’re reading this to decide whether it’s worth the money, if the location is good…. Book it!!

We love staying at the Train Depot! This is our second stay with Tanner and Jan and it won't be our last. The guys asked for this Airbnb (which normally doesn't happen) so we were happy when it was available. We are working in the area and we will definitly stay here again if it is available when we are back in town. Tanner and Jan are great hosts! Always very fast to respond and always willing to do whatever they can to make the stay great. I would totally recommend the Train Depot in you are in the Houston/La Porte area!

this place is just amazing and host was very friendly and helpful.the place was clean, comfortable and exactly as it is described in listing,very quite neighborhood,beach view is another level of experience.we highly recommend this place .Colleen is a very dedicated host , communication was very fast .

The property is beautiful and scenic, not a ton going on outside the immediate lot but that’s to be expected for the area they are located. All amenities were accurately described. James and Aaron were very communicative throughout the weekend and acted quickly when we needed assistance. For other guests booking this property just be aware that booking the house does not give you exclusive access to the outdoor area - dock, pool, courts etc.

Jam’s place is well cared for and accurately depicted in the photos. If or when in the area, we’d booked again. Pluses: The place is spacious in the common areas, with 5 larger TVs total in the home; two in the kitchen/living room area, and one in each if the 3 bedrooms, and all with streaming services available. Updated fridge snd stove/oven and ceiling fans in every room. Pleased place was generously stocked with paper goods, towels, washcloths, bed linens, extra mattresses, plus an updated washer and dryer set. My husband and daughter fished off the private pier and my daughter caught her first large crab. Good to know: Car parking was easiest using the covered lower patio/gated car port area. The lockbox on the front gate is ONLY to access the keys for the garage, which is also well stocked with a grill and includes a half bath (so convenient when/if hanging out down stairs). P.S. The garage keys only work on the smaller back door off the covered patio.

We enjoyed our stay at this amazing and beautiful house! Thank you once again! We had so much fun, not only did the kids enjoy themselves but us adults did too! She had so much entertainment for the whole family, we were able to enjoy, unwind and feel like kids again! I highly recommend this AirBnB as you will feel right at home and at peace. Will definitely book again for our next getaway!

Thank you Claudio for a relaxing and comfortable spot to help us through a family funeral. We were a big group of family staying together from out of too on an to join the celebration of life for a dear family member. It was very helpful to have a spacious place for us all to relax.

A great spot with view of the water, outdoor seating with a fire pit and a private hot tub and pool as well! The inside was clean and relaxing. Would recommend!

We stayed here to celebrate 35 years of marriage with family and friends. The home was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The pool was clean and the pier view was amazing. We instantly felt at home when we walked in. We have absolutely no complaints about our stay. They even left a dozen roses and a Happy Anniversary balloon on the dining room table upon our arrival which was a beautiful surprise 💛 We would definitely recommend this Host and his property! I wish we had stayed longer.

This place was super. I was in town for work. It had all the amenities that I needed and was close to my work. Emilia and Jason made my stay more enjoyable by making sure the pool was ready for my wife and girls to come visit. They even put out some pool toys. The area was great for entertaining, relaxing, barbecuing, and enjoying some sunny days and comfortable Gulf breezes. I would recommend staying here at The Little Marlin.

The place is super cute and clean with a view of the Gulf of Mexico. My wife loved it and said this will be our go to AirBnB in La Porte from now on. I loved the bed and pillows, not to soft, not hard....just right!

We rented Jared and Suzannes home for a long weekend to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and retirement from the Army (25 years of service). This home was the perfect place for our family to gather and to make new memories together as we celebrated this big milestone. The pool was so nice to cool off in as the temperature was in the high 90s all weekend. The backyard as a whole was perfect for our dogs as well. The kitchen was stocked with everything we would need and more! The beds were super comfy and clean. I was actually sad to check out and go back home! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet escape to the Seabrook.Kemah area.

Hannah’s place was decorated so nice and the views out back were beautiful. The big windows in the living room made the place feel so large. She had everything you could possibly need. You will need to bring you own washcloth that was the only thing missing. If you are going to definitely use the hot tub make sure you specify and make it known… it wasn’t working when we were there and We were unable to get it working. We would stay here again. We had 8 women and we were very comfortable.

We've stayed here twice now. We came back for a second time because of the location and the scenic view onto Galveston Bay. And the house is clean and comfortable.

We had a group of 4. Place was nice and clean upon arrival and photos lined up for what the house entailed! Price was great and the surrounding neighborhood was very peaceful and scenic. Owner did a great job with communicating and checking in to ensure things were going well. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time at this house, view of the water was wonderful. Plenty of room and comfy beds. Kayaks, corn hole, and a hot tub kept everyone entertained. Walked to Noah’s Ark restaurant for good food. Note that the pier only goes out as far as you see in the pictures, and then ends. We enjoyed it, would stay again!

The host were very communicative and helpful. The place was beautiful and very peaceful. I would love to book in the future!

Location is great and Lynn was super helpful and flexible. The evening walks on the beach were wonderful and the house is adorable.

This might just be one of the best BNBs that I have ever visited. It was so clean and the area was so quiet, even with the cute little girl next door. My family and I felt so comfortable. We are the type that travel with cleaning supplies but we did not need them this time. The beds where comfortable and the a/c was super cold. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores that are a short drive away. Sylvan Beach is less than a 5 minute walk away. We travel to Pasadena/LaPort every year to visit family and if it’s available this will certainly be our new home away from home.
