Wonderful experience staying at Villa Mitoreya. It's not your usual Airbnb, it's a lot more. The house is amazingly built with beautiful views and Tsuyoshi was an excellent host. He was present to welcome us, he went out of his way to drive us to a nearby restaurant so we didn't have to worry about parking and having a drink. His breakfast were delicious with many small details. It was like having a personal chef at home. We really enjoyed the peaceful environment and watching the local train pass in front of the house. It was like being in a Ghibli movie.

This place was easily one of my favorite AirBnb's of all time! It was a joy to come back every evening knowing we could pet some adorable cats and just have the best kind of company! The Airbnb comes with a 12/10 experience!

Beautiful accomodation at a very nice spot in Kanazawa. The Kenroku-en garden and the Kanazawa Castle are practically right across the street! The house is tastefully appointed with everything thought for. We had a very pleasant time and would 100% recommend it to others. We'll definitely stay here next time we're in Kanazawa!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was very homey, and we all felt completely at ease just like being at home. Everything worked well, though the water pressure was occasionally a bit off. The host was extremely kind and responsive, making our experience even better. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. There is a beautiful park directly behind the house, and it snowed while we were there, which was spectacular. Takayama is a relatively small town, so almost everything is walkable from the house. Iori manages several properties in the town and does a great job. I suspect that any property managed by Iori would be a great choice.

Beautiful and comfortable house with a very nice Japanese style in a calm and walkable location. The host was very friendly and picked us up at the train station and then drove us back after check out. The house is at 5 minutes of a supermarket and 20 minutes walking from the old town of Takayama.

Don’t look anywhere else if you’re looking for a place to stay in this area. From a tourist’s perspective, this is the perfect stay. It’s traditional, spacious, and feature rich. I can’t put into words how beautiful Kohei’s home - and how mindful the design and instructions are. From the fresh drip coffee, to the washing machine! The tub is also magnificent to live out your private onsen experience.
