Jacob and Josie and Justin at Altitude Madarao looked after us really well. They provide breakfast every day with variety of choices. There’s a slope just about less than 100m walk and you can get lift passes and gear rental in the shop near carpark 7. Great host overall, highly recommended to anyone. They try to create homely atmosphere, where we felt from the day one. Thanks team Altitude Madarao..

I felt so lucky to have booked a room at Ado’s place. He was available at all time to assist and went above and beyond to help me after I had a bad injury on the 2nd day of my ski trip. He helped me move around, stay an extra night and also helped me get to my bus stop with all my luggage. I’d 100% stay here again knowing the service level.

Great lodge in a beautiful area. Kieren was super kind and helpful for our whole stay, going out of his way for us, and making delicious food every morning and night. We were able to chat with other guests during the meals, but also we could choose not to. There is a nice spacious bath which we were able to use all to ourselves at a time of our choosing (there were few other guests). I can't recommend this place enough, if you're in the area definitely stay here!

Great atmosphere. Felt right at home with my 2 kids. Very comfortable hanging out in the common areas with lots of fire places. Nick very helpful speaking very good english

Beautiful location, opposite the beach, room was clean and comfortable, friendly efficient staff too.. recommended

Had a lovely stay at Kaiya lodge, the accomodation was cozy, very clean, breakfast was great and all the hospitality staff - Trent, Amy, Mai and Momo - were perfect hosts, friendly and helpful. location is near the main gondola so good for those who wish to ski/board frequently. Walkable to the main street for restaurants. terrain in Nozawa village is hilly so just be prepared to walk up and down slopes. Mark the main host was quick to reply my Qns and sent very helpful info ahead of the trip. thanks Mark! Overall value for money stay!

This place is very nice and he is a great host. The location is perfect for ski trips or adventuring in the mountains. We had a group of 5 and it fit us perfectly.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Kazumi und Takashi war eine echte Bereicherung für unsere Japan Reise. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und die Betten sehr bequem. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und hat uns schöne Abende beschert. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, aber sehr idyllisch. Trotz sehr winterlichen Verhältnissen war die Unterkunft auch ohne Allrad gut zu erreichen. Am meisten waren wir von der Gastfreundlichkeit begeistert. Die Kommunikation war sehr unkompliziert. Wir konnten vor Ort sogar Equipment zum Skitouren gehen ausleihen. Takashi hat spontan eine Tour auf seinen Hausberg mit uns unternommen. 非常好的住宿环境，泡澡很棒很舒服，非常安静的房间，物超所值！

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans cet hôtel ! Les bains étaient excellents, et l’ambiance de notre appartement rappelait parfaitement le style traditionnel japonais, ce que nous avons adoré ! Le petit-déjeuner inclus dans la prestation était également un vrai plus. Merci beaucoup pour tout ce que vous offrez, je recommande vivement !

Expectations all exceeded. Warm and cozy common area was perfect for quiet reading and drinking tea next to the wood stove. We really enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts and dinners while having a chat with visitors from around the world. Staff hospitality was excellent; professional and friendly, offering warm greetings and help with carrying bags. Location at Madarao made for an extremely convenient powder day; driving to Nozawaonsen and Kurohime from there was easy enough.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge. It was perfect for our ski trip - being close to the mountains and convenient for ski rentals. The team made it easy for us throughout our stay including getting to and leaving the area. The common area was cozy and perfect to relax in during bad weather.

Such a memorable place to stay. Fabulous hosts, clean and comfortable rooms, fabulous food and best of all were the memorable interactions with the hosts. We can’t WAIT to go back and had such an amazing holiday. Very highly recommend this fantastic place. Have already recommended to numerous friends !

the owner are the most heart warming folks that i have encountered. the air bnb feels like home and even its winter, the place is always warmed up for the guests. i also love how friendly the other guests were. everyone just gathered and chit chat no matter which country you came from. 100% for this place. the shared onsen was also great with fantastic snow cap mountain view. i will definitely come back here again if i ever come back to asakusa again. take care and stay healthy till we meet again. 😀

We had a good time staying with our 7-month old and our labrador. We stayed in the wintertime so we definitely enjoyed warming up at the sauna and in front of the bonfire. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our dog got along well with the resident dog. We hope we can visit again in the summertime.

3回目の利用です。貸切で音楽を流してパーティーをしましたが、今回から野外に大きなスピーカーもあり満足するイベントができました。これまでは天候の問題で室内のみでしたが、初めて野外も活用できて大満足です。いつも通りみなさんも親切で助かりました。また来年も利用できたらと思います。

★차량필수★ 저는 일어 못 하는 도보여행자라서 힘들었어요! 모든 시설은 사진과 설명에 나온 그대로 였습니다. 후기보고 예약했던지라 불편사항 없었고, 호스트님이 차량 태워주셔서 체크아웃날은 너무 감사했어요 😻

2泊3日で3人で宿泊させていただきました。 施設全体がとてもよかったです。 泊まったロッジは2部屋あり、寝室とダイニングが別れていて、いずれもエアコン完備。キッチンも一通りの調理器具や、コップ、お皿などのカトラリーも揃っているので、調理もできます。 管理棟には食堂やお風呂があり、時間内なら自由に使えます。お風呂は露天や深めの浴槽、サウナなどいろんな種類が楽しめるものとなっていました。 宿泊者は車で20分ほどの接岨峡のお風呂にも無料入れます。 川が近くにあり、散歩をしたりするにはとてもいい環境でした。 案内等も丁寧、親切にしていただきました。 とてもいい宿でした。ありがとうございました。
