I found Dan’s place at the last minute, and it was the perfect find. It is about a 10-minute walk to Oimachi station, one stop from Shinagawa, for easy transfers. It was very easy to find his house because of the clear instructions he provided. The roads leading to his house are also flat, so it was pretty easy to roll our suitcases! The house was very comfy and made me feel like I was right at home~ Dan was very responsive and provided many local spots~ I hope to be back 🙏🏼

We loved our stay here! Masa was extremely friendly and helpful in assisting us with anything that we needed. The place was a short walk from the station as well as a 7 eleven which was extremely convenient. Highly recommend:)

Yukari was more than a host, she is a friend. She is kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive. She picked us up at the station and also dropped us off when we departed. Japan is a great place to visit for its beauty, culture and especially the people. It’s our number one favorite country to come back again and again Thank you Yukari for allowing us to stay at your place and for being so nice to us

This location is incredible. The neighborhood is so cute, with dozens of shops and restaurants. It feels like a real taste of Japanese life. Any Japanese we told we were in this neighborhood were surprised because they said only locals are there. exactly what we wanted. The Metro station is only a 5 minute walk, so you have quick access to other parts of Tokyo quite easily. On top of all this, if you happen to be here for cherry blossom season, the Muguro River is here and it's lined with cherry trees that are spectacular.

非常愉快的住宿。我们到得很晚，但是房主提供了周边凌晨仍然营业的餐厅和商店。最近的便利店在江之岛站附近，如果从藤泽换车，我建议先在藤泽购买你需要的物品。房屋内设施一应俱全，非常适合多住几个晚上来体验。客厅也穿上了圣诞装饰，厨房有微波炉、冰箱、餐桌、各种调味料。我们在冬季抵达，虽然靠近海边外面很冷，但房主提前帮忙开好了空调，每个房间都有空调或取暖器，榻榻米很干净，被子与毯子特别温暖。期待下次与家人一起入住更长的时间。

We really enjoyed our stay! We were worried that the location was far from our activities but it was the perfect neighborhood to enjoy quiet mornings and evenings as a large family group. Our kids loved it, and it was easy to get the train and get around the city. Our host was always responsive to any needs (we needed to extend our stay and they helped accommodate). Very grateful for our Tokyo Airbnb experience.

寝室は非常に清潔感があり安心して過ごせました。キッチンなどは少し汚れが気になりましたが、、許容範囲でした。 わからないことを尋ねるとすぐに対応がありました。とても良かったです。また利用したいです。

9人で宿泊させて頂きました。 立地も駅から近く、ローソンの上とわかりやすかったです。 室内は白を基調とした空間でとても清潔感があり快適に過ごすことができました。

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. It is a very beautiful home on the mountain, with a very serene garden surrounding it. The interior is modern yet still authentic with the tatami rooms. The hosts provided us with everything we needed for our stay, we only needed to stock up on grocery from the nearby stores. We were a small family and had a comfortable stay, but you can easily fit at least 6 people in this property. And the private, natural hot spring onsen far exceeded my expectations, and I've been to Noboribetsu onsen. It's not the easiest place to get to, thou thankfully we had a car. You can still walk down the steep hill to the bus stop. Sengokuhara itself is a quiet town with non-existent nightlife, but that was not why we came to Hakone. We enjoyed our weeklong stay of visiting the beautiful nature, and from this place you have easy access to Fuji and the Izu peninsula. We will hopefully be back one day.

Ichimaru was a fantastic host and we really enjoyed our stay. Great location

大学生の文化系サークルの合宿で、11人で利用させていただきました。全体的にとてもいいところで、大満足です！　楽しい合宿になりました。

友達9人で泊まりました。バス停からも近く、お風呂がとても綺麗で、みんなでとても楽しめました！とても良かったです！

とにかく素晴らしい宿泊でした✨ とても良く、またぜひ今度と家族旅行で滞在したいと思う素敵なポイントがいくつもありました☺️ありがとうございました🎵 1.とにかく綺麗！ 設備が新しいのはもちろんですが、全ての清掃がとても行き届いており、感動しました。 犬も滞在できる施設とのことで行く前は匂いなどを心配していたのですがむしろログハウスなので木のいい匂いで端から端までとても綺麗にお掃除されていました。 2.家電、キッチンが素晴らしい 家電がBalmudaのオーブンだったり、洗濯乾燥機が新しいものがついていたり女性目線でおしゃれで良いものが使われておりかなり気分が上がります。今回は1泊だけでしたが、長期滞在でクッキングなどをするのにもとても便利だと思います。キッチンの食器もコップがプラスチック製のおしゃれなもののため子供も安心して使えました☺️食器も数が多く、醤油皿のような小さいものまでありとても使いやすかったです。またわざわざ子供用のアンパンマンの食器などを準備してくださっておりとても助かりました🙇‍♀️ 3.温泉がとても大きく満喫できる 温泉は掲載写真で見るよりとても広く感じました！大きな温泉は大人4人で入っても余裕があるサイズでホテルの露天風呂付き客室よりもはるかに良いです。子供たちと入りましたが大喜び、外の露天と中の温泉を行き来し2時間ぐらい入っていました😂サウナもボタン一つで起動できわかりやすく使いやすかったです。 温泉以外にも中のお風呂もとても広く2家族での滞在でもお互いにゆっくり温泉を楽しむ時間がありました☺️ 4.キッズフレンドリー サービスでジュース、お菓子をつけてくださったり、子供用のおもちゃを用意してくださっていたり、とても子供が喜ぶ滞在となりました✨リビングの木のテーブルも角がなく、施設自体もとてもおしゃれなのに子連れでもハラハラするものがなく親も子も伸び伸びと過ごせました☺️ ご連絡もすぐ返信をくださりとても助かりました、この度は本当にありがとうございました、また宿泊に行きます☺️

Excellent accommodation! Small inconvenience of breaker issues did not dampen our excitement bout the house or Hakone, would definitely stay again

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Super close to most of the Hakone activities, but also secluded and filled to the brim with stuff to do and amenities. If you were on the fence prior to reading this, book this AirBnB!!!
