Airbnb need to come up with another level of host for Yasuhiro! Yasu went above and beyond Superhost status with his consideration, care, and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. The apartment is clean and comfortable and has all the services and appliances you might need. The neighbourhood is nicely removed from the frenetic centre of Tokyo and it was a blessing at the end of a day’s tourism to come back to Nogata’s quiet and bustling community. Such a pleasure to have experienced Tokyo this way.

We enjoyed our stay. the location is right next to Big Buddha and walkable to the Hase station.

Wonderful place to stay that is very close to a couple good restaurants and convience stores. A couple minutes additional walk to a Don Quijote. The train station is close but with luggage it is around a 15 minute walk unless you are walking at a brisk pace. Stairs in the house are fairly steep. No major complaints, though. Clean place and feels safe. Great host, very responsive and helpful even at early hours. Booked this place for our first and last leg in Japan and would do it again.

I would defintely reccomend this place! Great central location and Geoff and Jo were very good hosts. The instructions were clear and they communicated very well.

Had a very nice stay!! It was very conveniently located and the accommodation was very nice. It felt great to return after a long day around Tokyo. Would highly recommend!

This home is squeaky clean. Spotless! Very comfortable beds and pillows. Everything was organized. This will h eny go to place in Tokyo.Highly recommended. It was a great experience. Thank you for having us.

Amazing location – just a few minutes’ walk to the vibrant heart of Shibuya, yet tucked away in a quiet area perfect for relaxing. The host and his team are professional, and very thoughtful, with a dedicated guide channel offering detailed recommendations for nearby food spots and attractions. The apartment is clean, fully equipped, with a great washing machine and fridge. The balcony is lovely for enjoying the view and unwinding. I honestly wished I could stay a few more days in Tokyo to enjoy this unit more. Truly worth it!

This was the perfect place for our visit to Japan! There was ample space for our family of four and having two bathrooms was very nice, especially as multiple bathrooms are hard to find in other Tokyo rentals. The space was clean and spacious, and we loved the rooftop deck! The neighborhood was extremely walkable to multiple train lines and shopping and restaurants. The beds were also very comfortable. Although we would have preferred a second shower, we easily made do with just one and it is an amazing shower! The only other thing that would have improved our stay (and it’s a small thing) is that we had a hard time figuring out how to use the microwave. There’s a million buttons on it and as we don’t speak any Japanese, we had to spend some time with Google translate to figure out what all the buttons said, but we eventually figured it out. Regardless, our stay was amazing! 藤本悦子 was a fabulous host and we would highly recommend and stay there again were we to return to Tokyo.

Host was incredible! Friendly and communicative as would be a family member. No detail left out. House was beautiful and thoughtfully stocked with welcome drinks (colas/beers/sodas in the fridge) tea/green tea and coffee. Plenty of spices/seasonings/oil for the chefs. Cooking facilities good- microwave, 2 gas hobs and grill. Bathroom well stocked with creams, lotions, shampoos etc. There is a washing machine and soap provided. We were left tasty treats and face masks as a welcome gift! Restaurant suggestions were provided too. Our only regret is not staying longer. It is a lovely place and are.

Sehr schöne, saubere Unterkunft in einem netten, zentral gelegenen Viertel von Tokyo mit Liebe fürs Detail. Hier hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Obwohl es eine kleine Unterkunft ist, ist die Ausstattung super, mit Gepäck ist es auch problemlos hierhin zu gelangen. Der Bahnhof liegt nur 3-5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. In Shinjuku und Shibuya ist man schnell. Aber auch so ist man schnell überall in Tokyo. In der Nähe ist ein 7/11, ein Lawson und ein Family Mart. Es gibt auch nette Shops und schöne Cafés und Restaurants um die Unterkunft herum. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. Top preis/leistungsverhältnis. Für 2 Reisende, die eine gut bezahlbare, saubere und gut gelegene Unterkunft suchen super :)

This was a fantastic place to stay, very close to the train station in location that made moving around tokyo very easy. The area is extremely charming with laneways with stores cafes restaurants of all kinds. Quite a hip and trendy neighbourhood that is very inclusive and friendly. Ryo made us feel very welcome assisting with local knowledge and helping with our arrival with most thoughtful and detailed info I have ever recieved when ising airbnb. I will stay here again next time I visit tokyo as it ticks all boxes from price to location to room size and so on. Anyone staying here will be very happy with thier choice and enjoy their stay.

We had a great time staying in Ueno. The home was very clean and many amenities were provided. Walking distance to Ueno Station, 7-11, Lawsons and many restaurants.

This is one of the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, great apartment and fantastic surroundings. I would highly recommend it.

Hitomi took amazing care of me and my daughter while we were her guests! She sent us a detailed list of recommendations for the neighborhood including kid-friendly highlights. When my daughter needed to go to the doctor, she sent a list of clinics. She also helped me ship some luggage to make my train trip easier. She was an incredible host, always going above and beyond. Nice area and view from the roof, it’s quite a bit of stairs to get up and it’s narrow so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with luggage. The beds were just a bit uncomfortable but nonetheless it does the job, other than that it’s a nice clean space and i recommend staying here.

Great location next to Okubo Koreatown, lots of great food options, and conveniently located off the main Yamanote line train. Also, walkable to Shinjuku, so if you're into late nights you don't need to rush home. The space was super comfy, and despite being off the main street, was very quiet and peaceful!

Premium was the best host! Incredibly welcoming, communication was fantastic and very kind. The apartment was centrally located in a wonderful location. Surprisingly very quiet home. Would absolutely love to stay here again when I return to Tokyo

A beautiful spot, beautiful apartment in a peaceful area that’s a walk or quick train away from all the major destinations. Great selection of convenience stores nearby and multiple train stations in the vicinity.

This is an excellent option for exploring the Shinjuku and Shibuya areas. It's an easy walk from Shin-Okubo train station, and is in the heart of Korea Town - so surrounded by great restaurants. A taxi to Shinjuku was cheap and easy, or you can take JR or a subway. The directions on Google maps was perfect, and the host was very helpful and an excellent communicator.

It's a beautiful place. I wish the host was a little bit more flexible with the early check ins and late check outs, but I understand it's something that cannot always be available. Other than that, amazing place.
