Our family had a fantastic stay! The property is stunning inside and out and Sara is so thoughtful and stocked the fridge with milk, cream, butter, local yogurt and bread, fruit, homemade granola, etc! We felt so welcomed!

Stayed here while visiting family in the area. Very beautiful property with a fantastic host. Highly recommended to others

This is our 2nd stay @ “Pinewood Retreat” because we absolutely LOVED this home the 1st time (4/2024)!!! We love this property so much that we have decided to make this an annual family trip. The pictures are accurate & the home is lovely. It is family (kid) friendly, which is very important to us. It also has a reclining chair that is a must-have for my husband. He & I, along with our 3 adult children, their spouses & their kids will continue to enjoy this property for as long as it is available. We’ll be back in 2026…

Kathryn and her girls met us shortly after arrival . Also got to meet the dogs and cats. Very patient with us. Beautiful home and surroundings. Will definitely go back

Superhost,Yes. originally scheduled to stay at another property of Nathan and Becky which became unavailable due to some repairs needed. They offered me the Sycamore cottage which worked out great for our group. Cottage was clean and plenty of space . Location is quiet and close to attractions. Our visit was for Sight and Sound theater which is close by. Also visited Roots farm market, Aaron and Jessica buggy rides and Shady Maple smorgasbord .Good time at all. Highly recommend a stop at The Choo Choo barn for amazing model railroad display.

The home and surrounding area were beautiful. Randy and Rena were great. Very responsive and communicated clearly. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get away!

We enjoyed the cozy and peaceful cottage and the beautiful farmland surrounding us. We also enjoyed taking a walk early in the morning to see the sunrise and walking by the stream in the back. My friend loved bird watching on the property. We did a horse and buggy ride with Jesse and it was the highlight of our trip. The area is breathtaking and seeing it from the carriage helped us to really take it all in. We saw Noah at sight and sound and rode the Strasburg railroad, they are about 25 min from the cottage. We went to the Speckled Hen for breakfast and had a delicious meal and great coffee. Over all we had a great stay at Joni’s place and Lancaster !

This house was perfect for our annual cousins trip! It was big enough for all the kids and stocked so well with toys and games that we never had to take out the toys were brought! The backyard was perfect for running around, we even had an Easter egg hunt for the kids! The kitchen was beyond stocked and nothing was missing for us to be able to cook there everyday. We all wanted to pick up the home and move it back to where we lived because it is so perfect and beautiful. The attention to detail was very much appreciated. The location was awesome perfect for a trip to Dutch Wonderland, and the outlets. Also Down on the Farm Creamery was so much fun!

Very remote place we seen a lot of wildlife from the house and when we walked the trails..Dave and Barb were very helpful with everything thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us we hope to come back soon..

Gorgeous cabin! Before we checked out we were already talking about planning another trip in the Fall! Highly recommend.

Had a great stay. Enjoyed seeing the horses, cats, and dogs on the property. The house was smaller than expected but was good for the two of us and our two dogs.

Our stay was so great! We loved that the house was clean, spacious and well organized. The playroom and toys for the kids was awesome and the backyard playset and little creek were definitely a hit. Edna answered messages so quickly and helped in any way she could. I would recommend this location to anyone - and already have to some friends! Thank you for making our family vacation even more special :)

Great stay! Inspiring style and decor, super clean and cozy. Loved the quiet location. The side and back of the apt looks out over a huge farm field... very quiet and beautiful! The apt sits above a row of other apartments, and there was no noise from other residents. Would definitely stay here again — highly recommend nearby restaurants Bespoke Brewing and Speckled Hen. Food and drink are on point!!

This apartment adjacent to the family home is the perfect place to spend a few days exploring the local area. The semi rural neighbourhood is whisper quiet while allowing easy access to the surrounding towns with the use of a car. Barb has made every effort to ensure the comfort of her guests with homely touches, attention to detail and meticulous cleaning. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The king sized bed is comfortable and furnished with pristine linen and generous pillows. The modern bathroom has plentiful hot water and supplies and there is a large laundry for the use of guests. Barb and Daniel were most welcoming when we met. We feel fortunate to have met them and are so grateful for their generous hospitality.

This Airbnb offered a truly peaceful and private escape, with blissful quiet and a serene atmosphere. I felt completely secluded, allowing for total relaxation and rejuvenation. The home was clean, comfortable, and perfectly designed for a tranquil getaway.

This place is called the Hidden Gem, and it trully is!! The loft is so clean, decorated with impeccable taste! Everything a traveler might want or need is there. The bathroom had shampoo, body wash, hair conditioner, hand soap, and even a candle. Tons of clean towels! Very comfortable and inviting leaving room area with cozy blankets and pillows, nice lighting, great kitchen! Very spacious and comfortable bed. We slept through the night like a baby! The top point of stay was the fridge with bottled water, apple juice and fresh eggs for us! My friend summed it up in her statement that she would love to spend a whole week in that loft. Also, the goats that live ouside downstairs are very friendly, and we had a great conversation with the father goat! Linda was very responsive to all my questions and requests. If we ever decide to stay in PA, we would definitely consider this gem of AirB&B.

Loved staying at Merle's place. Our kids especially loved the dog and cats they even gave them names. Very peaceful and quiet. Will definitely come back again and highly recommend.
