A really charming and comfortable cottage. Mike was a great host and was very welcoming when we arrived. The cottage is very warm, and the kitchen is a good size to cook in. There's a dishwasher, a good oven with hobs and an air fryer, and microwave. Also a washing machine and tumble dryer, so all is covered. Some nice walks around the canals as well. We'd happily stay again.

brilliant place, very happy with our stay. Maria was a lovely and very helpful host. House is located just off main road so very easy to find and easy to travel around Longford area. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Really enjoyed staying at Rita's place. She welcomed us in person and showed us around the house, provided information on the location and area, and provided some milk/treats/etc. House is like the pictures, great location, has everything you'd need for a few days. Will recommend staying at Rita's and would be happy to stay again.

This house was even more amazing than I had hoped! I wanted a cozy, rustic cottage to relax in and feel at home in, and someplace central as a hub for day trips. This cottage was a dream! Everything was so adorable, the photos just can't do it justice. It's very spacious and perfect for a family. The master bedroom has such a beautiful view, I never bothered closing the curtains. We had some extremely cold weather, but we are used to that and it wasn't a worry to us. Maeve was very attentive making sure there was plenty of firewood and even giving us extra heat. She gives you plenty of helpful information about how to use the stoves and local places to eat, and she is always ready with suggestions if you ask. There is a little neighbor kitty that vists that we named Cheeky because she'll try and come inside, but she's very friendly and is happy for some scratches when you are outside. This was a home away from home and I hated to leave!

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Cíara and Declan’s beautiful cottage , as regular visitors to family in the area we can’t believe we haven’t found this gem before , everything was perfect so comfy and warm , and very well equipped , we will be back thanks for a great week

We really enjoyed our stay at Catherine's place. Catherine's friend Miriam came over on the first morning (as we arrived in the middle of the night) to make sure we were well settled and showed us around. Miriam even gave us a lovely home baked (her mum's recipe) soda bread. Catherine kept checking we got to Ireland safely and then to the house. The house was really lovely and had everything we needed. All the kitchen appliances worked well and we didn't have any problems at all. Catherine also offered us a free late check-out which was really kind of her even if we dint need it as our flight was early afternoon.

The Dream Barn is a fine place in a very quiet village, but with the basics near to hand. The view is soothing. While it may seem cluttered, that means there's everything you might need and more. Jim truly makes this beyond a pleasant retreat with his hospitality and quick response to concerns. Even when the power went out due to Storm Eowyn, Jim worked tirelessly to ensure my comfort.

We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

Would recommend this flat to any of my friends and family going to Cavan a nice clean place to stay

Norbert greeted us and was very friendly and showed us where everything was and added bonus of ingredients to make a fry up. The place was lovely and clean very comfortable beds fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and tumble dryer. Couple of minutes walk to pub and convinence store and about 10 min drive to town. Highly recommended staying here for peace and quiet.

The apartment was easy to find, spotlessly clean and modern Would definitely satay there again

Michael and Nicola's place was a real treat, from the nice and warm house to their serene lands leading to the river Shannon and a lake.. Michael's welcome was so nice and enthusiastic, he was glad to give us some tips about where to go. Their 2 dogs were super fun and friendly, gave us a tour around the land :) Everything was so cosy, clean and practical, and above all - peaceful. Getting around was easy - lakes and villages all around, with Roosky at the doorstep and Carrick closeby. Would definitely recommend this lovely property :)

The accommodation was lovely and comfortable in a fantastic location, with all the amenities you could possibly require . Maura is extremely friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic experience and Sharon’s hospitality went way beyond our expectations and I would HIGHLY recommend taking the opportunity to spend time at the cottage. Sharon and her whole family are very welcoming, helpful and generous with their time and the nice extras including lovely fresh flowers, welcome pack etc.

Had a great weekend in Carrick on shannon staying in Susan's apartment. From booking to arrival Susan was very responsive and friendly. The apartment was immaculate and had everything you need and spotless clean. great views over the Marina and within walking distance to all bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay here at the weekend. The apartment was clean, modern and cosy. Siobhan and Harry were very friendly and helpful and they left a lovely breakfast basket for us. Thank you both!

We had an amazing 2 night stay at the POD. It was cozy and beautifully furnished with amazing views, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Every little detail in the Pod was well thought out. Maria greeted us on arrival and took us through all the information we required. She also had some great recommendations for food! The hot tub was a great addition to the Pod and made the weekend a bit more special for us and so was meeting the cute little Molly! We would like to stay here again and highly recommend this place.

La Casa di Ann è un posto fantastico ove soggiornare e dove rilassarsi. Si respira un'aria familiare e confortevole. Ogni cosa è al posto giusto e tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato persino bellissimi fiori profumati raccolti dal suo giardino. Ann ci ha fatto trovare anche una dispensa con tutti i prodotti di cui puoi aver bisogno all'arrivo in un alloggio. La proprietaria è estremamente gentile e simpatica, e si è resa disponibile per ogni esigenza. Consiglio molto questo alloggio caldo e raffinato.

We were in Knockvicar to research our family roots so Anne's place was perfect because we could access all the local graveyards/Leitrim Heritage Centre, Ballinamore, Drumshabo music festival etc. Anne was super-helpful but also respected our privacy. She was there if needed. Loved her spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, extras left in the fridge for us on a very late arrival from Cork, esp milk and tea. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom and the place was spotless. We had two very peaceful/quiet nights of sleep and really enjoyed our stay in Knockvicar. Thank u Anne

Absolutely beautiful apartment, had everything we could think of and more - we felt very at home straight away. Incredible views of the Lough. Location was close to everything we needed - local shop, cinema, lovely walks, attractions etc but also far enough away to feel secluded and be incredibly peaceful. Fiona was excellent- very friendly, responsive and recommended some lovely activities for us to do.
