**An Amazing Stay!** We had an incredible five-night stay at this wonderful Airbnb after our wedding, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The comfortable furniture and cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. We slept like babies in the super comfy bed! The neighborhood was fantastic, and we enjoyed surfing every day and indulging in delicious meals. You have to check out Malibu Brew Co and get a burger and a couple of beers. The hosts were exceptional—they clearly know how to run an Airbnb and made our experience unforgettable. This is definitely one of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in. I very highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage and gardens, wonderful neighborhood, walkable. Connie was so helpful and welcoming! Perfect place to stay for the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl.

Our stay here was quick, but just what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet. Our family of six stayed, and one reason we chose it was because each of our four kids would have their own bed. No pillow barriers needed haha. Speaking of beds, these were the *most* comfortable ones we’ve used at an AirBnB. The space was comfy, inviting, and super cool. We loved looking at all the music industry memorabilia, too; what a neat legacy for Michele to share with her AirBnB guests! One thing to note: the place is a converted garage so it is cooled and heated with a mini-split. It wasn’t turned on when we got there, and we wish it had been because it was a pretty cold, drizzly night (December) and took a long time to heat up. So if you stay here, maybe request that it be turned on in advance of your arrival. I’m sure the property management wouldn’t mind at all because they were nothing but accommodating and welcoming. Our big family felt lucky to find this place to stay while in the area.

This location was a serene escape. We were surrounded by nature and great views. My mother and I quickly found ourselves relaxed in the space itself. Darrell was an excellent host who puts a lot of work into the detail and maintenance of the property. Truly a a getaway experience and would definitely come back. Worth seeing in person!

These hosts are the real deal and this place is a spectacular airbnb. I’m an Airbnb regular and also an infrequent host of our own second home. Jaime and Liz have everything you need and more. No stone left unturned with giving directions and finding things. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

This place is perfection. The design is exquisite and a joy to hang out in. We stayed over Christmas with our two children, John had kindly put up elegant decorations inside the house and fabulous lights all around the outside of the cottage. The house looked like a wonderful feel good LA movie on arrival. The beds are comfortable with high quality linen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need and is modern and tasteful, as are the bathrooms. I’d like to tip my hat to the cleaners, totally spotless. Laguna itself is a chic little arty beach town that feels very European in many ways. There are fun shops and restaurants to visit and art events throughout the year. We saw a great small local band on the beach and met some lovely locals. During the day we saw dolphins leaping about in the bay and took a boat out. I can’t recommend this place enough, John was very kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. Thank you John for a memorable stay and happy holidays!

This was perfect for our group of four and we felt very safe and snug! Tom was friendly and we would definitely return! The hot tub was a nice treat after lots of walking around town, nature preserve, beach, boardwalk, etc.

No complaints, everything went well

My daughter and I had a fantastic stay. Everything was as described, and we felt completely at home. The location is perfect - quiet and safe. I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and checking out all of the beautiful houses. The bungalow was very well-equipped with everything we needed. My only issue (which was only mine) was that cabinets were really high up for me (I’m only 5’0), but wasn’t an issue for my much taller daughter. The patio was also a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather we had. We will definitely stay here again when we’re visiting So. Cal.

Nicely laid out space. Plenty of room for 4 people and 2 dogs. All surfaces were clean and easy to clean. So many toys to use for the beach. Bikes, boogie boards, chairs and a wagon. Made it so much easier to pack. Great to have a laundry space. Parking was easy. Entering the place was easy. Ernie was very communicative. Loved the place. Will. Be back.

My daughter and I loved our special mother/daughter getaway to the cabin by the ocean! This is a beautiful location. We had a blast and Aaron and Monica were super responsive. Thanks again.

Unique little spot with amazing views. We were even able to get a bit of hiking in - Lisa gave us the inside scoop on how to walk from our lil trailer to the Topanga State Park trails. We spent some time in LA as well as Oxnard to go whale watching - couldn’t have been better situated to access all the good stuff and take some scenic drives (if you’re into that sort of thing). We are into that sort of thing. Well worth the money just for the atmosphere and nature (fell asleep to the croaks of the local frog population) though we didn’t see any. Comfy beds and restful sleep. Thank you!

We were suddenly displaced during Eaton Canyon Fire. The Cottage was ideal, secure, familiar, friendly place to perch while we regrouped and looked for long term housing. Kristin and Richard were generous, kind, and understanding. Accomodated not only our family, but our pets as well. Great neighborhood, easy walk to dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, banks, two grocery stores.

Beautiful and peaceful area. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and comfy. We had an issue initially with heat but he helped us solve that. His dogs are very cute but you don’t have to see them and Don keeps them quiet and controlled. We would definitely recommend and stay there again!

This house is lovely, and situated in a quiet neighborhood. Some features we loved: - The large quiet backyard. - All of the windows, and they open! - The location. When traveling, my family prefers to be in a neighborhood, and not a downtown locale. If that’s you too, this place is for you. - Even still, the location is incredibly close to Trader Joe’s, Gelson’s, and lots of great restaurants - that are within walking distance. Overall, it was a great experience, and Callie and Zach were very responsive and helpful. Thanks for making our LA trip that much more enjoyable!

Great vacation spot!! I would stay again.

I adore everything about this property. I’m an LA local and have been coming here for nearly 10 years- sometimes solo for quiet thinking and reflection time, sometimes with a good friend to celebrate their birthday or to enjoy the incredible frog songs. Generally “my spot” is The Creative Suite. This time I brought my 6 year old son and his Dad to celebrate our 9 year anniversary and show our kid the magic of Topanga Canyon. We stayed in the cozy Wonderland Cottage. It had a Queen bed and a fold out floor bed in the upper loft area, we played board games in the cute kitchen and cuddled in the living room reading & talking. I can’t wait for the next time I can come back and you will too. David Scott is a responsive and warm host. If you’re visiting California and want to dive in to the Cali vibe or need to get out of the concrete LA basin, it’s a beautiful and easy hour drive.

We had an amazing stay at Kierah’s place in Lake Hughes! The home was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape from the city, and we loved sipping coffee while taking in the stunning views. Kierah was a fantastic host — super responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with charm and comfort, this is it. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Perfect stay in Geraldine's cottage nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. It was adorable! The house was clean, safe, comfortable and relaxing. Super close to Malibu and the freeway. Nice walk to the Old Place in the morning to grab a cup of coffee where I go to see some Peacocks. I will be back.

My family and I had a great stay at Kingston's place. My husband and I had our toddler so the three of us were very comfortable. The unit was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We wanted to extend our stay and Kingston was gracious and willing to let us do so. We will absolutely be returning when we come back to Newport!

This is almost a tiny house-- about 12'*20', in the back yard of a house. There's a room about big enough for a queen bed, chairs, and a table, a much larger bathroom than you'd expect, and a galley kitchen with a small dining table. There's also a little porch to sit on. It all very cute and cozy. I'd say it's like a suite hotel, only you have much more privacy, plus more appliances, and access to a washer-drier, as well as a really friendly host. The house is maybe a mile from the pier at Huntington Beach in a quiet neighborhood. It's bike-friendly. Great place to stay!

The home was wonderful! It had everything we were looking for. It sits right on the sand and convenient to restaurants, the pier, biking if you wanted, fishing charters, shopping, or simply walking and taking in the views. We couldn't have asked for more! Can't wait to plan our next trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
