I had a lovely stay at La Casita Picaflor, the Little Hummingbird House earlier this week. The place is on the smaller side, but still lovely for a single guest or couple. I found the space itself cozy and well equipped. The location is very close to the San Anselmo and San Rafael areas. Most of all, Peg is one of the best hosts of all the places I've stayed and people I've met. She was extremely helpful and accommodating as I searched for accommodation close to the holiday season. Her specific recommendation regarding which exact address to use on rideshare pickups proved especially helpful in getting to the airport for a very early return flight. I'd highly recommend this option for an awesome stay in San Anselmo, CA!

Loved our stay at the 2 bedroom Bank St apartment! We are from the area, so just stopped in town for a few days to see friends. Very well located, easy to go to our favorite coffee shops, restaurants and hikes! Beautiful linens, comfortable bed, nicely decorated and a well supplled kitchen. Would definitely recommend!

The hosts were very friendly and made a genuine effort to ensure I had a great stay. That said, they were not intrusive in any manner. It's a beautiful location. I didn't have a car, so I walked up and down the hill to the house at least once per day. I enjoyed the walk, but some might not. Hopefully the unit will be available the next time I am in town. I highly recommend it.

Katie’s place was just right for additional sleeping space close to our daughter’s family at Thanksgiving. Easy walk to great shops and restaurants, too. Katie was very helpful with questions. We would stay here again.

Beautiful views from the upstairs deck, very clean and great communication. Quick drive to the ferry to SF and very quick and easy highway access to Marin or Berkeley.

A great little place to stay in San Rafael, looks exactly like the photos. It’s totally self contained and has everything you need, stocked with all basic items so I was set up straight away and was well equipped and comfortable during my entire stay. Amazing location, very close to all the shops, transport hub and fabulous walking in the hills behind. Laura was great on liaising before and during my stay on anything I needed, but my time there was made so much more special by the wonderful Aileen who owns the place - she’s so welcoming, turned up with the most delicious hot pumpkin bread on my first day and was an absolute angel throughout my time there - I had a few personal things going on during my stay and she was an absolute rock, going way beyond any expectation I had of a host, which was hugely appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful month at your place :)

I stayed here alone for two days to do some research and writing. I couldn't imagine a better place to do it. The deck was so peaceful with the slope and greenery all around. The bed was comfortable and the desk is tucked into a nook with windows on three sides and a skylight above. Just a beautiful place to spend time. The host couldn't have been nicer and accommodated a request she didn't have to, while also leaving me to myself when I was there. The region is gorgeous, and you can walk into Fairfax which is super lively and has great restaurants. 100% recommended.

We loved Amber's place! It has an amazing view of the Corte Madera Creek and Mt Tam East Peak. Watching sunrise and sunset on the outdoor balcony with the fit pit over coffee/drink is a must! Amber was super responsive both before and during the stay. When a few unexpected incidents occurred, Amber responded and addressed the matter promptly, while being out of town. We enjoyed hikes and walks right from the unit and highly recommend it!

Great house in a central location for olde town area of Petaluma. Weather was rainy whole stay so did not go into the courtyard out back but it looked very inviting. Nice ,comfortable house w super gas stove in kitchen. Loved the historic feel of the house. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Price was reasonable. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful home, beautifully presented in a private setting. the location is close to everything, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sonoma.

Tom and Jade were excellent hosts. They were responsive and made everything very easy for our family. Their house was perfect. The deck had superb views and the surrounding roads and trails were great for walking. This is why we come to Mill Valley. We had everything we wanted stocked in the house. Thanks Tom and Jade!

Words can’t describe the beauty of this place. Quiet. Secluded. Immaculately maintained. Communication was easy, friendly and prompt. Cannot recommend this place enough. Simply incredible

This place was such a charming, wonderful home, everything you could want for the San Anselmo / Fairfax experience, we fell in love with the town and Caroline's home made it a spectacular visit! Will be coming back 100% to stay here again! Thank you Caroline!

Everything was as expected, comfy and easy place to travel from different places

This home is AMAZING! Perfect location, great amenities, well stocked kitchen, and the deck makes for a lovely spot to hang out. We enjoyed the hot tub too! Would 100% stay here again!

Gillian’s home was as shown on the website. It was clean , comfortable and well stocked. The house overlooks the street but was quiet and very convenient to restaurants and shops. The back has a lovely seating area and was very quiet. Gillian was a responsive and friendly host who gave clear instructions.

Azin is a wonderful host and excellent communicator. The location is phenomenal, especially if you plan to hang around Sausalito and Tiburon. The unit is spacious and super comfortable with a lovely view. We make the trip from SCal to Sausalito every year end and would be happy to stay at Azin's place again.
