Booked last minute- was very pleasantly surprised! Even better than photos! Location was easy to find (drive in late at night) very easy to check in. Very walkable to everything- beach was a few blocks! Great location to get to the middle of town in no time at all. The private patio space with the hot tub was so amazing after a beach day. I will for sure be booking this place again! Also Liza was super helpful and easy to reach if I had any questions. Book here - it’ll exceed expectations!

We love it so much we returned and plan to make it an annual tradition. It's peaceful, well priced and a complete delight!

David is probably the best host we've encountered so far. Very proactive, provided details for the property, sent very detailed recommendations for nearby activities. He was open to coming by and showing us everything if we needed. And he added one day stay to our reservation for free without us even asking! The location is great, quiet and beautiful, close to Carmel and Monterey and to nearby parks. Great place to stay with kids. We will be back.

Our family of four, loved Shari’s place and we’d definitely stay again. It’s one of those good-vibes Airbnbs where you can tell a lot of love goes into the setup and maintenance. We loved the hot tub for relaxing together — under a beautiful magnolia tree — and my partner and I were able to take a couple work calls in privacy in the spotless studio. Also, everything just works … coffee works, all the TVs were easy to use, and it was easy to get in and out. Thank you for a great stay Shari!

Annie was a great host and the place was exactly as described and just what we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. We loved the hot tub in the backyard and the beach cottage feel of the place. Thank you for hosting us!

A magical sanctuary! We loved every minute of our stay and the only negative part was that we had to leave. The location is epic- walk anywhere, restaurants, beach, UCSC, downtown, coffee shops. The hot tub is totally private and the place has a very homey feel. The lot is beautiful. Would stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at The Camp! Had all the basics we needed, and was a great blend of being in nature but with basic modern comforts. The property is beautiful and we hope to go back soon! Host was very responsive and thoughtful.

The house was perfect for a weekend away with our pups! The fenced yard and the deck were great. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was dialed in for a perfect stay!

We absolutely loved the location, the balcony and front porch looked directly at the ocean. The kitchen was fully stocked and loved having the laundry available. The backyard was closed in to let our dog out in the early morning. We will definitely be back.

We were hoping to get away from SF to a quiet place for the holiday weekend, and Patricia's place was perfect. Very close to great hiking in Garland park, easy to find, and within short distance of stores and restaurants. Patricia was a great host who communicated clearly before and during our stay.

This was a great stay! I had 6 people in our group and it was perfect having a room for every couple. Living room was super comfortable, the recliners were awesome. we enjoyed the spacious rooms and king size beds. Everything felt really clean and comfortable. Check-in was super easy and the house itself was simple to find. It was close to the Aquarium and all the other fun touristy things. Would definitely recommend this place if you have a big group!!!

Carmel River Inn is exceptional! I have stayed here many times and it's always an excellent experience! Beautiful grounds, beautiful, quite,peaceful with a babbling brook behind it!! you can't go wrong, highly recommend it,easy access to many great restaurants and shopping

The house was easy to find and near the beach, as advertised. It felt like home and was accessible to nearby restaurants. Gabriel responded to our questions quickly and was friendly. My wife had crutches and found the house easy to get around. The neighborhood was great and close to beautiful views . Definitely a high recommendation !

Cozy updated cabin in beautiful area. Very clean and bed was comfortable. Check in was also very easy. Would definitely stay again. :)

This is such a great place to stay if you want to experience Monterey county and come back to a comfortable place to stay.

This was a charming lil house! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well furnished. It is exactly as described so make sure you read the description. We stayed there with two kids under 3 and it was a great fit for us. My biggest complaint is that the there are no blackout curtains so the kids were up early LOL but the location was great, we could walk to coffee, breakfast, the park. I would definitely recommend this place!

This amazing property sits on the tip top of a lush green hill in the Carmel Highlands. The “Studio” is part of a larger property but feels completely private. The grounds are Gorgous and lush with flowers and old growth trees. In the deep gorge that the studio sits right next to, you can hear a river rushing but is covered by forest. The space is older and feels almost mission like, with its thick wooden exposed beams and wood burning fireplace. Every morning I would make myself tea and oatmeal in the thoughtfully appointed kitchen. Then eat on the big patio surrounded by nature with the blue Pacific in the distance. At night we could see stars from the skylight in the loft. Giant windows in EVERY room! It was like being outside. Everything you want is SO close! Even a general store at the bottom of the street in case you crave some Häagen-Dazs. It’s perfect. Caroline

From start to finish, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thea and Stefano were helpful and attentive hosts. We highly recommend you treat yourself to a stay with them! They have thought of every detail, so you don’t have to!

my husband and i stayed for 2 months for our sunny winter retreat and it was PERFECT! everything is well stocked from kitchen appliances, linens, toilet paper to batteries. so many thoughtful touches throughout the house. the deck is DIVINE and sun streams in the house morning through sunset. the beach is an easy walk away and very few people during the week. i requested cotton bedding and green, fragrance-free cleaning and Lori generously accommodated our needs. thank you, thank you, thank you!

Our stay was perfect for what we needed during our trip. The location was more industrial than we anticipated, however, the coffee shop around the corner was a convenient surprise. Andy's place was cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the attention to detail was superb! We'd definitely visit again.
