Magical! That is the word that just kept coming up for us! What a lovely place! Chrissi and Stephen were just as sweet as the place! Great and easy location to get to all things Santa Cruz (of course the Redwoods too!). We just loved the cozy and unique vibe, the gardens, you just step into a little retreat as soon as you arrive. It had all we needed. Parking is street parking, which we had a slight concern with (I am an over packer!), but we were able to find a space right near out front every time (literally!). We will be back, I have no doubt!

First impression- WOW! House is very spacious and clean. Stocked with every need. The house was very quiet inside. Owner (Gabriel) was very helpful with local recommendations and accommodating a special request. Gabriel was very responsive and stayed in communication with me when I had any questions leading up to the time of our stay. He was also very kind and accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend staying here. It’s a great location near to stores, restaurants and downtown. Definitely somewhere we will be coming back to.

Cute guesthouse, total privacy, great location in Santa Cruz. Sarah sent clear instructions and we had no problem finding extra towels, coffee, etc. There’s even a little s’mores kit included to utilize the fire pit—which we unfortunately didn’t have time to use. Street parking was easy to find and we could walk to the pier or SC downtown. Very much recommend and would stay again.

We had an amazing time! Phillip was the best host, and reached out ahead of time to help make our arrival smooth and uncomplicated. The little cottage was so perfect for our weekend and was the best location to explore Big Sur, Carmel, and Monterey areas. We would totally come back again!

We spent almost 3 weeks in this cozy and charming apartment. The location is perfect for experiencing all that Santa Cruz has to offer and we walked to the beach, wharf, and Boardwalk daily. Many coffee shops and restaurants are blocks away. Mike was extremely responsive and friendly, but not intrusive at all. We hope to stay here again.

I had a short but great stay. I met Tom and had a couple of pleasant conversations. He has been around the area for a long time, and it was interesting to hear about it. I am now a fan of Carmel and will likely stay again.

Perfect last minute getaway for 3 of us. Very close to everything, a 7-min drive to the beach as well as downtown, and was spotless. The pull-out couch worked great for my small kid but may not be ideal for adults. Beautiful decor and comfortable main bed. Outdoor patio is gorgeous as well with the jasmine blooming.

It was great to arrive at Chi-Pings place after a long day of driving. Clean, beautiful, and spacious inside. Not too far of a drive from restaurants and beach in Carmel. Would stay here again!

Josephine’s place was perfect for my stay! The place had everything I needed, from essentials to thoughtful extras that made my visit even more comfortable. It was spotless, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was a breeze, and the clear instructions made everything super easy. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and well-equipped stay!

Great time in the redwoods at Brooke's place! Very close to the Mystery Spot. About a 10 min drive into downtown Santa Cruz.

Well appointed with everything we needed. Great kitchen for preparing meals.

Laurel's place is absolutely stunning and so serene! It feels tucked away and is quiet, cozy, and surrounded by nature, but it's an easy drive back to the world when you do need to head into town. The area is a lot of families who appreciate the land up in the mountains and take care of it so well. I also didn't realize it was where John Steinbeck lived for a bit, and the mini-museum of artifacts and quotes is so very cool. I loved the frogs at night and all the creatures—the ducks, wild turkeys, lizards, deer, cool bugs outside, etc. Laurel is a wonderful host with impeccable taste and an eye for detail. Everything we needed was there, everything is comfy, and it all feels lived-in in the best way—it's all very intentional. She was also incredibly kind and flexible when we had a handful of changes, which we really appreciated. Communication was always clear, warm, and timely. It’s hard to leave a place like this. We’re already looking forward to the next visit!

First off I want to publicly say Thank Betsey for everything!! Great location, easy freeway access. Very close to downtown for restaurants and entertainment. For extended stays it is the best!!

Have never seen Santa Cruz before and hostel Airbnb close to the boardwalk…a nice surprise. Like having access to a real kettle and gas stove to make a decent cup of coffee/tea Tony the guest host very attentive and helpful

We will be returning for sure. Kimberly and the space could not have been better for our needs. We've been touring colleges with our daughter and for our UCSC round we found the location to be utterly peaceful and quiet and exactly as described and clean as a whistle. It's one block from one of the prettiest beaches and has a ton of food/amenities located nearby. Kimberly was highly communicative and offered lots of useful suggestions both for restaurants and things to do while in the area. If our child ends up at UCSC we will be benefit from this space regularly. Thanks for the wonderful offering and help, Kimberly.

Our stay at Kyle’s was lovely and easy! It was a perfect home base for our adventures in the nearby state parks. The chickens are very cute, but if you’re a light sleeper looking for quiet, you may hear them in the morning. The eggs are amazing and such a wonderful addition to a comfortable stay. We had everything we needed and then some! Would definitely stay again during a trip to the Santa Cruz area.

Amazing stay! Location is unbeatable (I grew up in Santa Cruz so I know!) the house itself is immaculate with a lot of thoughtful touches from the hosts. Comfy beds, too! Wonderful patio for little ones to play as well. I’ll be back!

I stayed at Zohar’s place after attending a show at Felton Music Hall. The location is surrounded by redwoods and feels remote but is an easy drive into downtown Felton. The studio was spacious and clean. Zohar was a responsive and friendly host. I would stay here again.

This place was so adorable. Such a cute little cottage in beautiful surroundings. My daughter especially loved the bed in the loft. The host was accommodating and gave us all the privacy we desired. The house was fully functioning and as described. We would definitely book this place again.

Spent a wonderful week in Kathleen’s place. Perfect tidy smaller space with all the important things looked after. Coffee, olive oil, teas and cozy blankets helped with the rainy quiet days. Close to beach and walkable to both Boardwalk and Harbor. Hope to visit again this summer, will definitely check to see if Kathleen has availability.

Absolutely loved our stay at Sahar’s place! Sahar and her family were so welcoming and kind—it really made the whole experience feel extra special. She was a great communicator from day one of inquiring, always responsive and super patient with our large family and our changing plans. They were totally flexible and kind. The property itself was spacious, super clean, and had everything we needed. Our kids had a blast playing on the playground and even made a couple of new friends close to their age. even got to see a newborn baby calf and mama doing their thing. The location was peaceful and away from the hustle of the city, which made it the perfect spot to unwind. We felt very safe and secure the entire time! Check-in was super easy, no stress at all. Honestly, we don’t have a single complaint. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend. thanks guys! Will see you again if we are in the area.

A perfect spot for cyclists! Staying in Seaside at Ashley’s place was exactly what we were looking for. Her communication and support was impeccable. The unit was clean, quiet and had a wonderful enclosed front patio which gave us peace of mind to park our bikes. We felt right at home. Highly recommend!
