It was a lovely stay! Everything went smoothly and all amenities were ready for use and also easy to use. The property is beautiful and close to lots of things to do while being surrounded by nature. The hosts were responsive and helpful, easy to work with. I was not expecting how close the neighbors would be, but that really didn't impact how nice of a time we had at all. A sweet pup came by a few times and that was really fun. Overall a fantastic time!

This place was nicer than the photos and absolutely perfect for a girls weekend. Everything was well equipped and labeled. The location was very quiet and peaceful with great access to a quiet beach. You definitely need a car as it's a little isolated but that added to the charm.

Great, serene spot. I'm sure it's wonderful in the summer time with the pool though we didn't use as weather was cold.

Everything about our stay was fantastic!! The beds, the pool, the town…the three of us loved this Airbnb and look forward to coming back. Swimming in a heated pool in the winter is a heavenly experience.

I stayed with 6 of my friends and this was the perfect space, lots of room and areas to hangout at. Location was great, right in the middle of big sur and monterey. Loved my stay at this beautiful property.

The beautiful pictures matched the experience. The place was spotless and you could tell care/detail went into furnishing the schoolhouse, which made the charming atmosphere so unique. We were supposed to share the experience with another family, but ultimately it ended up just being the 3 of us. We highly enjoyed it nonetheless, the private pool and hot tub were the top amenities.

Beautiful location and very comfortable home for my friends and I to spend a relaxing weekend. Alison was very responsive and helpful! 5 stars all around.

My family and I had a great stay at Yvonne's cottage. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the ocean, nearby restaurants, and the Santa Cruz boardwalk, yet the cottage itself was nestled on a peaceful, quiet street. The cottage was beautifully designed both inside and out. We truly had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

We spent a long weekend at Lauren's place and it was a wonderful, relaxing home away from home. Check-in was super smooth and we absolutely loved the area the listing was in. It's walkable (or a very short drive) to many local eateries, breweries, shops, and cafes on the west side and there's also plenty of nature-oriented things to do since it's so close to the ocean — hikes, beaches, walks, parks etc. The listing itself was very clean and had everything we need. Lauren even left some snacks and drinks for us as a welcome gift which we thought was very sweet. The kitchen is well stocked for your needs there. The one small setback was that it didn't have a a full sized refrigerator so the frozen foods we bought didn't quite fit into the mini fridge's freezer section. Everything was spotless and though it was raining while we were there, we would definitely come back and enjoy the patio space next time. Highly recommend this listing for a peaceful getaway to Santa Cruz.

This comfortable house worked great for two couples and our friends who dropped by for dinner. The location is wonderful - super quiet and an easy walk to the ocean, optionally through a beautiful park. Short drive to good markets and restaurants. We enjoyed the spacious hot tub and appreciated being able to bring our dog. It is more comfy and cozy than super glam, but that was perfect for us. Ian was a great communicator and shared some wonderful recommendations - don't miss La Hacienda Taqueria!

Beautiful property with all the amenities needed for a group of 8. The property was very clean and Bobby was super helpful and communicative. Thank you for the thoughtful guest book and the local wine/chocolate upon arrival! We would definitely stay at this property again!

Words cant describe the feeling this home brings. From its location to the views. Its ease of use. Everything is within walking distance. If you are looking to impress. This home will capitavate. Its modern amenities were exactly what we were lookimg for. Loved the little turn around in the driveway making getting out onto the busy street easy. Overall a wonderful experience!!

This was our third stay at the Blue Whale Bungalow, and it remains our favorite place to stay in Rio del Mar! Mariam is a wonderful and generous host who immediately remembered our family and welcomed our two dogs. The Blue Whale Bungalow is clean and cozy, with everything you need to enjoy the beach or relax indoors. It is located just two blocks from the beach, where you can enjoy the ocean breeze, search for sea glass, and admire the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to visiting the Blue Whale Bungalow very soon!

This was our third year using Donna’s home for our week-long annual trip to the Monterey peninsula. We have always been pleased with our stay, and this year was no different. Donna’s home has everything a family or group could need. The home has always been clean and tidy. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, and very close to most of the points of interest in this area including golf courses, the popular Monterey Bay Aquarium/Fisherman’s Wharf, and Laguna Seca Raceway. Her communication has been friendly and clear - no troubles to speak of. If you are considering a stay in this area, either short or longer term, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

We cant say enough about the stay at Marielle’s place. Started with some delicious soft baked brownies, an impeccably clean space, fully stocked kitchen. The surroundings are breathtaking and the house has such a peaceful vibe to it. The views of the ocean and trees is idyllic and we sat there drinking coffee for a sweet amount of time. The home is also stocked with bathroom essentials, hot tub, and fantastic coffee options (coffee beans, espresso, brew). We felt perfectly at home, serene, and wish would have stayed even longer! One of the best airbnbs we’ve been to.

Two families with 2 littles kids each (3-8yo) stayed there and it was perfect for us. The house is very spacious, perfect for the 8 of us. Nearby Boardwalk and other fun locations to enjoy with the kids. We picked some tomatoes and a couple of asian pears for breakfast and they were delicious. The kitchen is very well provisioned with lots of utensils and condiments that made our meals much better. Thank you Sun and family! I was a little bit scared with the almost 3 years old when I read some reviews, but he did great. He was interested in some National Geographic books in the living room and I hope we put them back in the right place :) looking forward to come back in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The kitchen area is a good design and space to spend with your friends and family. Faris responded to any questions we had very quickly. We would stay here again.

The Beach House was exactly as described - tastefully remodeled while retaining the classic Aptos Beach bungalow vibe. Very thoughtfully prepared with outdoor games and items you would need for a beach getaway. The outdoor area and backyard are cleverly organized for everything you would want. I just wish we could have stayed longer (and had warmer weather!). Lots of great information in the folder for things to do and places to eat. Kudos!!

Sarah’s house is beautiful and exactly like the pictures! Super communicative with our every need. Tons of space and amenities! Loved the outdoor patio and the peek a boo ocean views! Sarah is an amazing host. Would absolutely stay here again! Love the fact that we were able to bring our dog! Thank you again for the amazing stay and making my family feel so welcomed!

Andrew was a great host who was responsive and proactive. The space was comfortable, quiet and within walking distance of the ocean. The king sized bed was comfortable. There is a small kitenette with a mini-fridge. Parking is on the street in front of the unit. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend this for your visit to Santa Cruz!

We had a great stay here! Anna was very helpful, and was impressively quick to respond when we had the need for some fresh sheets. She even offered us a high chair when she realized we had a small child. We felt very well take. Care of, and her space was lovely, clean, and exactly what we needed on short notice.
