Great place! It’s a pretty quick walk to get downtown. The place is well maintained and very clean. The hot tub is fantastic! Best of all Karen and Jim are great hosts that put in many thoughtful little touches to help guests feel welcome and taken care of. We had a great time and would easily recommend this place to anyone

We loved that it’s in the middle of no where. Everything about the place/location was beautiful, sunrise, sunset, watching the stars at night. It was peaceful, no one around just us. The home had lots of amenities. He reached out and made sure we didn’t have any issues, which we didn’t. Our family really loved the home/scenery! We took small hikes and explored as well. I recommend this place!

Ana couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. The drive in was gorgeous and the home followed suit. You should book. Our experience was flawless.

Pamela’s rental is what all Airbnbs aspire to. The space exceeds all pictures and tells 1,000 stories with the unique collection of books and curated art. The soft linens, opulent bathroom, and enchanting fireplace will all spoil you! Pamela communicated well before and during our stay - even a welcome hug upon arrival. We have found our go to place while visiting the central coast.

whimsy, charm and peace in a lush setting for my 80th birthday week! Cottage is tiny, yet adorable living space ... so well thoughtout...kitchen had EVERYTHING ... tall husband did fine on sofabed...lovely linens on my double bed...so comfy! MY HUSBAND made fun of me making the bed EVERY DAY, it is sooo cute, I needed to see it that way!!deck area is beautifully designed whimsy with plenty of space to view the gorgeous property..we did a BBQ and dinner on the deck with the welcome heater and seating for 6 one night. Generous host allowed my 2 teen grandkids a hot tub soak! They had quarters just up the road and came to see us! made for the PERFECT 80th!! Chuck and Diane made it so!! In addition, we are FOODIES and ate daily at our favorites; cozy breakfast and snacks at MOONGLOW! a bottle of Chardonnay from our hosts! Don't miss Carmel Bakery!! we highly recommend MOONGLOW!!

Hawk’s Nest is the best Airbnb we stayed at along the California coast! Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing are three words describing this lovely property. The view was spectacular, the daily bird show was entertaining and whale spouting has happening! Jill and Kevin were wonderful hosts! They were very responsive and take great care of their property. If the opportunity presents itself, we would LOVE to go back someday. If your travels take you to Carmel, consider this place. You won’t be sorry!

Close to the beach and well situated for exploring the area (don't miss nearby Mt Madonna County Park for walking, hiking and/or running). Will definitely return

This place was exactly what we needed! Has laundry inside, and everything you need! The beds were comfortable and there was a little park nearby for the kids.

The view is amazing! You can see the forest and the hills. Big open windows that let lots of natural light in. There’s also a large wooden porch. A great place to relax in the morning. It feels private since it backs up to the woods. You can get anywhere on the Monterey Peninsula in about 10 minutes. Easy access to Big Sur as well. Some people have commented about low ceilings, but I’m 6’3’’ and never noticed the ceilings at all.

What a lovely gem of a home! Holly’s house was a GREAT home-away-from-home. We checked in and settled into 3 very nicely appointed, cozy (not small - just cozy) bedrooms. House had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend away - and in a beautiful setting! The is a great spot!

The place was a very peaceful getaway. Close to Carmel and the beautiful coastline of Big Sur. It had all the necessary amenities and felt very cozy. The host was very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay!

Very comfortable beds, well furnished and equipped, outstanding ocean view from both bedrooms (not ocean front but at an angle; sand beach right under the place but a 200 yard walk to the actual water). Owner let us checkin a few hours early, which was great after a long flight. Would definitely return!

We have been coming to Pajaro Dunes for 37 years. Our family loves it. This house needs some attending to. In one of the downstairs showers, the soap dish on the wall was broken. You need to be VERY VERY careful. My nephew cut his thumb and needed to get stitches. I was told I could check in before the rain started, but the office hadn't unlocked the house on their end. I had to drive back to the check in office and ended up getting wet while unpacking the car. Not the end of the world, but a little irritating. It took quite awhile to figure out the space heaters, some did not work. Kitchen pots and pans need updating - bring your own!! We had a great time and lots of great memories continue for our family.

A warm and inviting cabin with beautiful views

Wonder place! This property is extremely well maintained. You can tell the hosts want their guests to have the best experience. The cabin was super cozy! I wish the dry sauna had been open as stated on the listing. I’d love to come during the summer when the pool is open, looks beautiful!! We explored Big Sur and Carmel; this site was close.

We loved every moment spent in this house ,especially the cats , the house was very comfortable, clean and cozy, I would definitely recommend this house .
