This property is exactly as described, the hosts are friendly and responsive and very accommodating. I honestly cant wait to go back during the summer and early fall - to utilize the back patio it looks like itnwould be an amazing place to just hang out with a glass of wine and the sounds of nature. I saw the cute friendly dog everyone talks about only twice during my week stay but he is just as described by others. I arrived during a snow storm and it was a bit of a challenge to make it up the hill - but made do - it was all part of the adventure. And finally- 😂 im pretty sure Bigfoot came to say hi in the middle of the night 2 of the nights because the back porch motion light would come on between 2 and 3am i looked but never saw anything - Pennsylvania has Bigfoot right ? if not it was probably a raccoon.. i never went outside to look. 😂

this was the perfect little cottage to spend a night away for my husband + i + our two dogs for a lambertville/new hope visit. honestly one night wasn’t enough, we’d love to come back for a long weekend with the kids too. being in walking distance to the pedestrian bridge was really cool + the historical inn across the street was really neat! not a far drive at all to lambertville/new hope. the cottage was so cozy, the beds + couch were perfect + the bathroom with the heated floors was really nice. my favorite touch was the awesome bookshelf over the spiral staircase. really unique! we had a lovely visit + we’ll be back. thank you, ed!

This was an ideal place for my family and a few other family friends and kids.

The Chalet in Chester Springs was a peaceful, spacious and comfortable retreat while we were in the area to visit with friends and family. The hosts were very responsive, informative and kind. They also provided interesting historical information about the house (built in the 60's and remodeled), which resonated with me, as I am a local history buff. Overall, we would stay here again due to the hospitality of the hosts, the size and cleanliness of the house and the peaceful, wooded location. Thanks to Leigh and Stephanie for our wonderful visit! This is one of my favorite places to stay in Manayunk. The location and designated parking spot can’t be beat!

We had six guests visiting family in the area. The house fit us perfectly. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms provided necessary privacy. The kitchen, dining, and living areas were big enough for us to gather comfortably.

Loved it. Beautiful spot. Had a small issue with a malfunctioning light and Stuart fixed immediately. 5 stars, would stay again.

The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor space looked like a great place to hang out when the weather is nice but it was too windy and cold to do so now. Wayne was very responsive and went out of his way to get additional streaming channels on the TV for us. The snack tray was also a nice gesture and we appreciated it while decompressing at night after a long day of dealing with family issues. Since we do have family locally, we'll be back in the area often and I would definitely stay here again.

I'm from the area and came into town to visit my parents and didn't want to stay in a hotel. EJ's guest house was the perfect place! I would definitely stay there again.
