A beautiful cabin. Was perfect sitting on the deck and grilling, watching the storms roll in. The train track is really close but that didn’t bother us at all. It is all quaint charm with an interesting history.

Helen and Joe were able to accommodate us after our previous booking canceled on us at the last minute and their place was awesome! They were very gracious hosts. The house was located a short drive from the Texas Ren Fest, had plenty of beds, was very clean, and the hot tub and pool were fantastic after a long day of walking. 10/10 would stay here again the next time we come down for the Ren Fest.

I've stayed with my dogs at Pine Island Farms many times and it has always been great! Although Tim says it is in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to where I compete in dog agility so the location couldn't be better. The locked gate keeps the area very secure, the house is just the right size for 2-3 people + dogs, and there is a completely fenced in backyard. Tim is next door and extremely responsive if you need anything while you're there.

This place is absolutely stunning! I don’t think i have enough space here to write everything that was perfect during my small 2 day getaway with my daughter. Helen and Joe were just the nicest and such amazing people. Quickly responded to every message and even did a small store run for me. My daughter loves horses and was able to feed the rescue horses and donkeys they have on site. She was over the moon. Pool is absolutely beautiful! I am ready to be back! (Which hopefully is in a month lol) I could go on and on of how amazing this place is the hospitality but i don’t have the space lol Thank you soooo much Helen and Joe for making our little getaway so perfect and magical!

This was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. My sister was getting married down the road so it was a wonderful location for our family. The host was amazing an very responsive to anything I needed. I would highly recommend this home.

Great for a getaway for my grown daughters and I. We had a roadtrip to see some family and this was the perfect place to stay! Quiet, peaceful, absolutely friendly host and there were goats involved! Walking trails and the tent was cozy and warm! Perfect for what we needed.

Such a beautiful, peaceful getaway. The owner’s were so welcoming and friendly as well as their dog. The exterior is neat, clean and very well maintained. Inside of the bubble is very luxurious and well kept. This place definitely brought back a lot of childhood memories! I will definitely be returning. I definitely would recommend!

Rebeca was a great host and very friendly. It was a pleasure to stay at her home and will stay there again next time we are in the area.

We loved our time at the cottage! The location, visiting with different animals at the farm, and the cozy bedroom lofts made this weekend trip a unique experience. Additionally, the host was very responsive to any questions we had about our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit near Sam Houston National Forest.

Close enough to local experienced and secluded enough you feel at home. I use a manual wheelchair, and could access all rooms. Was able to get out of the door independently over the threshold, but others may have some challenge depending on the individual. The little touches made a big difference like cooking basics we forgot to bring and board games/extra blankets. The weather went from warm and humid to cold and windy within 24 hours and we still had a great time.

The word "adorable" accurately describes the barndominium lodgings in a farmyard setting. We greatly enjoyed the farm animals, and as a bonus during our stay, a momma goat gave birth to a brand new baby goat! The other animals (chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs, cats, rooster, etc.) added their own contributions to the feeling of good country living, which we thoroughly enjoyed. To top it all off, the place was conveniently located near top-notch shopping and entertainment, and wonderful restaurants. We highly recommend experiencing the joy of staying at this "Adorable 2 bedroom one bath guest house".

This was exactly what we were looking for – a peaceful place to gather with close friends and relax on New Years weekend. The house was perfect for two couples to decompress from the holidays. Our son loved the swing out front, and we were all pleasantly surprised by the trail along the back of the property. We took the host's recommendation and went to Teysha Vineyard, which was a really fun way to spend the afternoon. We didn't end up using the fire pit but loved that that was an option. Dana was very responsive and accommodating. We'd love to go back.

I always enjoy the natural setting and peaceful retreat at the Cabin @ Agape Farms. It’s a great place to unwind and relax from the chaos of working life. 💗

A beautiful little cottage. Perfectly organized. Very clean and comfortable. A great location for couples.

It was such a cute cabin. If this doesn't make you want to build a tiny home yourself, nothing will!

My families stay with at The Ark House was nice. It's a cozy little area for a family of 4 or less. The pricing was awesome, we were in town for a soccer tournament for my son. The location was a little further than we expected because you have to get on Country Roads, and they are far away from the Highway. However, this was not an issue we just knew to leave a little earlier. Walter responded every time I sent a message. My daughter loved the animals and feed the horse and donkey carrots. Walter also gave us FRESH EGGS and I must say they were Awesome!!!!!!!! If you want to get away or need a friendly, cozy, new experience this is the place. We will book in the future... Thanks Walter you are an awesome host.

The place was everything I could ask for. The home was super cozy and clean. Mr Walter was easy to talk to. I really enjoyed my time away from reality for the weekend!
