Pretty much exactly as the listing advertised. We spent most of our time in this space either congregating on one of the three porches, or around the pool table playing games. The table has leaf inserts that were easy to find and made this the perfect gathering spot indoors when outside became too warm for the ceiling fans alone. The beds were comfortable, and we were able to adjust the vents and A/C to accommodate a fairly wide range of comfort levels. I was very impressed with the quantity and quality of pots, pans, utensils and Tupperware available. Our group did a good amount of cooking and it was a very easy kitchen to use.

Was a last minute booking. So grateful for the immediate response. House was as described, comfortable beds, clean and had all we needed. Sam was very responsive and kind. Would stay again!

We LOVED our stay here, beautiful & serene - the perfect relaxing getaway. The house had everything we needed for a big group - outside games, kitchen supplies, seating, beds, etc. We would 10000% come again, we loved it so much!!!! We even had an accidental mishap with one of their outdoor games & they were kind & communicative with us. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who is looking for a beautiful lakefront location.

Stayed here with friends for the Renaissance Fair. Beautiful home and I love the way it's decorated. Eric was a great host and did everything he could for us when we needed it.

This place is great for a nice weekend getaway. We live in Houston and decided to celebrate our birthdays this year at Lake Conroe. This house has everything you need to enjoy any type of weather during your stay.

Everything very straightforward when it came to the instructions and checking in and out. The host is a great person who is always there if you have any questions or concerns. She goes above and beyond to make it a great experience. It's a place in which there's lots to do without needing to leave the property.

This Airbnb was the perfect place for my family and I. Tons of space with a very homey feeling. Soooo many spices in the kitchen and towels everywhere which is rare to find. Neighbors are very quiet. Huge space and outdoor lawn! I would definitely book again in the future!!

We had a wonderful stay at The Hen House! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved spending time by the pond, fishing, and soaking in the jacuzzi. The home had a great selection of DVDs for all ages and fun games like Balderdash, which made for some memorable family game nights with the kids. The location was incredibly convenient—close to restaurants, stores, and just 10 minutes from the Magnolia Baseball fields. The house itself is tastefully decorated, warm, and inviting, with plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Cassie was a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend The Hen House and would definitely stay here again!

it was such a a great stay. my family and I had a wonderful time. The cottage is very nice, clean and cozy. Sarah is super responsive and she was such a great host. we will definitely be back.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. We went looking for a comfortable and peaceful getaway and it was all wonderful. The location was very quiet and serene, and the house was spotless with a very nice view of the lake. Jennifer was very easy to communicate with as well and all her instructions were very clear and easy to understand. We really liked the thoughtful welcome from her too. Along with all of the amenities, the decor of the house (which made everything feel cozy and inviting), she made everything feel very homey. Made some really nice memories with the kids, so we will definitely look forward to staying here again.

Amy was an amazing host. Very kind and considerate. Very responsive. The place is beautiful and cozy. Fun seeing all the wildlife. Great birdwatching, little turtles swimming nearby, fish jumping. Peaceful, neighbors are warm and unpretentious, people wave when you’re driving through the neighborhood. The bed was very comfy, everyone slept well, plenty of TVs for every one to enjoy in their rooms. Plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware to cook at home. The coffee bar was well stocked which is awesome. The snacks were a great touch and everyone enjoyed that. The available games were fun too. Only wish our schedule would’ve allowed us to stay longer.

Was very welcoming with our growing puppy, though she was very apprehensive with all the geese around. 😂 We enjoyed the stay, very quiet while sitting on the water, got to read in the hammock.. Just a nice short get away from home.

I absolutely loved it! The view is beautiful. It's quiet and relaxing. It's a perfect getaway for yourself or for a couple's getaway. I would book this location again without hesitation.

Very nice 1 bedroom cabin. with everything new inside. With late check- in and early check-out, is expensive. Needs a fish cleaning area.

This place was super cozy and comfortable. The contact was very direct and friendly about what needed to happen once I got there. She also gave tips on what was all available at the cabin. Overall, a great weekend
