The indoor space was quite amazing. The owner obviously took time and effort to make the space beautiful and usable. Beds were comfortable, lots of supplies to cook in the kitchen, and the home was spotless. The home was a lot larger than we had imagined, so gave us space to spread out. Jess was extremely responsive and quick when we had questions. The only improvement (which I passed on to Jess) was to make the path from the house to the hot tub easier to navigate (especially in the dark). She already stated that she is working on that as a project very soon. I would recommend this home to adults. There are some pieces of art and glass objects that I would not want small kids around, in case they break. The home is a 15 minute drive to downtown Sebastopol and about 35-40 minutes to downtown Sonoma.

Joan's place is magical — set amidst redwoods within walking distance of the center of Mill Valley, where there are plenty of restaurants, a good bookstore, and delicious coffee. The living/dining area has floor to ceiling windows...more like glass walls, and there's a spacious deck where you can watch the sunrise on a clear day and the stars at night. If you want to stay in a place that feels full of history and stories, there's no better place. This is the second time I've gotten to stay at Joan's for a work retreat, and it has been absolutely perfect both times. And Joan herself is utterly lovely and generous — an added delight to the experience.

Host was very responsive even though out of country during our visit over Thanksgiving. Well stocked kitchen which we used extensively in preparing Thanksgiving meal. Nice outdoor courtyard with lovely trees. All three bedrooms very ample.

The house is stunningly beautiful - wood floors, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful tile work- in one of the most stunningly beautiful parts of California - a beaches and hiking trails that go on for miles. Definitely one of the nicest Air B and Bs that we have stayed at.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here and would happily stay here again! From a safe neighborhood, to a spotless home, to freshly filled hot tub, to the well-stocked towels and beddings, to welcoming gathering spaces, to the private back yard and bedrooms...not to mention all the design and personal touches that make this house feel like a home! This home is restorative and relaxing as could be. I could go on and on. Everything we needed was here. And any shopping we needed was just a block away. We hiked nearby trails about ten minutes away like the Lafayette Reservoir and Lafayette Moraga tail every day. I couldn't imagine a more perfect fit. Honestly, it was hard to leave. Thank you Amy!

Pamela’s place is perfect for a couple who want privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was also amazing. The kitchen was well equipped and had lots of extras. The private patio was a super super plus in the city. Also safe free parking was a plus here which is difficult to find in the city so we suggest just leaving your car and taking a Lyft, uber or even renting a scooter. We enjoyed every minute of our time here and would love to stay again.

It’s a special experience staying at Little Castle. Not only is it a lovely house but it is equipped with everything you can imagine for a great stay. My family had our Thanksgiving during our stay and everything you can imagine to cook for and serve eleven people was available. Leslie was a great host and ensured we had everything we needed. Can’t recommend Little Castle enough if you are looking to get a large group together.

It met our needs perfectly. This was our 2nd stay here. It was clean, spacious, great attention to detail and very private. Great host! They are very attentive and friendly. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Barbara’s place. She and her husband gave us great recommendations on what to do and how to get around. They are very helpful and supportive with answers to any questions. Check in was so easy even when we arrived late the first night. I can recommend this place as it is in a nice quiet area and at the same time has easy access to local transportation. The close access to the Golden gate park makes it easy to go for a run, walk or have a picnic. Thank you Barbara for allowing us to stay in your nice apartment. We will come back, if we get the opportunity in the future. Again, many thanks!

I had a great stay at the hotel, Rooms were small but very clean and cleaned every week. Had a lot of snacks in the kitchen and also the host is very responsive and helpful.

This studio was beautiful and pristine with a large bathroom! The most well-stocked rental we have stayed at. :) Perfect for me and my dog. We enjoyed the local surroundings and path (Lynch Creek Trail) behind the neighborhood. Plus we were only 30+ min from the coast (a beautiful drive also). Definitely recommend.

Delora is very friendly, and her place is the perfect getaway for a weekend to wine country! The windows truly do make it feel like you’re in a treehouse! Delora was extremely responsive and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

I had a wonderful stay at Ruby's home. I stayed here because a fully functioning kitchen is essential for me when I travel for more than a couple of days. I cooked meals here, breakfast and dinner, for four days, and had everything I needed to. Beyond the kitchen, everything else was as described and very comfortable for me. Ruby is a very responsive host, is very happy to help, and provides some thoughtful touches of hosting that recall to me the early years of Airbnb.

Joe and Katrina's apartment was a good fit for the two of us. An ideal location--right on Broadway and marvelously close to Columbus with its restaurants and shops. And a manageable walk to the waterfront. Being of the third floor was a bit of a climb but then the roof was right above us and easily accessible. The living area with the kitchen right there was handy. The two bedrooms are down the hall so sound did not carry. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of impressive amenities. We weren't short of anything. The rooms are. cleverly decorated. Katrina was welcoming, informative, and responsive. We should gladly stay here again.

Wow, wow, wow…This home & host are really unbelievably amazing. I have been staying in Airbnbs for about 7 years now & have never once stayed in a better home or met a better host. You will not regret booking this place. It has everything you need & more!!! Tri is an incredible host & really went above & beyond to make sure me, my mom & my husband were all comfortable and situated. His home is a two story & has a separate entrance for his guests on the first floor. So really, you have all the privacy you need with Tri close by for anything you may additionally need. The neighborhood is SAFE. I have visited all over San Francisco & have not seen a safer area. Located down the street from the beach & near great restaurants! The home has everything you need including a coffee maker, fridge, table, dishes, towels, bathroom with shower and living room. The living room has a tv with applications and cable. Tri walks you through everything so that you feel right at home! BOOK NOW, DONT PASS.

My stay with Emily was excellent. The proximity to UC Berkeley and various stores makes the room a very good accommodation for visiting scholars (and others working at the university). I also got to know Emily's son and her dog, everyone made me feel at home from the beginning, even though I was far away (from Germany). I can only recommend Emily's place :-)

I really enjoyed my 28-day stay here. Very well-maintained house. Modern kitchen with all advanced appliances. I stayed at Suite C which is quite spacious. The room and public areas are all very clean. Michelle is an amazing host! She proactively checked in with me before and during my stay. Always respond within 30 minutes whenever I needed anything. The location is good. 7-minute walk to bus station. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. I’ll definitely stay here again if I come to SF in the future!

We had a wonderful stay with Sandor, Giuliana and Georgio (their chihuahua)! They were extremely welcoming, kind and generous hosts and it was a real pleasure to meet them, hear their stories and act on their excellent recommendations. We stayed with our 5 month old baby who they loved meeting. They made us a lovely breakfast each morning, welcomed us with wine and cheese, and even offered us dinner. Their house is wonderful, ideally located to explore the city on foot or by public transport. The room is very comfortable with a good bed and plenty of space. The road noise was surprisingly minimal given the location and didn’t cause us any concern or issues. We would absolutely recommend staying with them and we’d be delighted to return someday.

Laura’s place is truly a gem! I booked this apartment for my parents when they came to visit, and they absolutely loved it. The apartment is beautifully-decorated, super comfortable, and feels like home. It’s in a lovely walkable neighborhood close to lots of restaurants, and it’s very peaceful at night. Laura’s garden was the perfect urban oasis, and Laura was very friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Dawna and Glen’s place! They were amazing hosts—very welcoming and thoughtful. Everything was perfect. The rooms are cozy, and we had the entire upper floor to ourselves, which gave us a lovely sense of privacy. They had tea, coffee, bagels, homemade jam, and more for us to enjoy—such a nice touch. The house is in a peaceful neighborhood where you can even hear the birds sing, and their backyard is super cute and relaxing. We were traveling as three adults and a 10-month-old baby and were a bit worried about night-time crying, but the hosts were incredibly understanding and accommodating—and thankfully, they didn’t hear a thing! The soundproofing is excellent—we didn’t hear much from downstairs, and they didn’t hear our baby at night either. Overall, we loved our experience and will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!

John was a fantastic host! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. John was also super responsive and helpful with any questions we had during our stay. The location was great and made it easy to explore the area. I’d definitely stay here again.
