A great getaway from the everyday! Peaceful and quiet. The arcade was great. A few of the games didn't work but it didn't deter us from having a good time! Our daughter said it was "EPIC"!

We really enjoyed our stay, very private and quiet. Great location among the wineries of northern Sonoma County. Kitchen was great, and we enjoyed the fireplace every evening. Thank you!

Previous reviews mentioned train noise but the house was well insulated so it was very muted. Blackout blinds and double-glazed windows did their job. The Folgers coffee set up was excellent and they left creamers. Beds were new and clean. Seating was limited, but we are a couple. Everything worked, especially the heater, since it was cold. We will stay again when we visit family nearby.

We chose this cottage for our former college roommates' 3-day getaway. It was exactly what we needed. Beautiful views, a hot tub, comfortable beds, and great amenities. Bright, cheerful, clean, and the wallpaper was fun. Lovely view off the back deck. David had many recommendations for food and things to do. The road up to the place was tight, especially in an SUV so we chose to venture out only in daylight. Check-in and check-out were easy. We loved our stay!

This place is a gem! It feels like you are in a tree house with almost 360 views. I stayed here during my wedding and it was amazing. It made my wedding that much more special. The house is a bit older but nothing that took away from the beauty of this home.

After a family wedding at a vineyard, we wanted to visit with family and enjoy a nice dinner in the city. Costs add up for families, especially when visiting a city like San Francisco. When all you need is good beds, privacy for parents and older kids - this is a dream-come-true-place to stay. The bonuses? - Close to airport - ideal - Easy, safe parking - Rooms with views - Quiet and beautiful - Deck & kitchen spaces - Clean - Coffee in walking distance Veronica was very responsive! The place was everything pictures showed in pics too. Although the home is far from the water - it is high-up in the city. So, you can see downtown and the Bay. The place is a perfect spot!

Susan and Dave were gracious hosts. They greeted us warmly upon our arrival, helping us to feel at home. Susan has thoughtfully attended to every detail, there is nothing we were in need of during our stay. Their hospitality extended to a continental breakfast to get our day started. The sitting area at the river's bank is so serene. We enjoyed napping in the hammock and reading a book after a day of running up and down the coast. We are very picky about mattresses, and found the bed very comfortable. We left a couple of items behind, which Susan and Dave were very kind to mail to us. Thank you Susan and Dave for adding to what was a spectacular vacation.

We had a short and pleasant stay while visiting family nearby. The location is great, we loved walking the neighborhood and to nearby parks, coffee and restaurants. The apartment was peaceful and comfortable, with thoughtful kitchen amenities. Thank you Renée, we look forward to coming again.

I had a wonderful stay here with my colleague, the space was such a great vibe and the hosts were very attentive. Bernal is a nice, safe, and quiet area. I’d definitely stay here again in the future!

Everything as described. Well-stocked kitchen, perfectly capable of cooking meals. Lots of space. ~15 min walk to Berkeley Bowl, which is a great place to pick up groceries. Some reviews mention hearing footsteps overhead; there is an apartment overhead, and the sound is about as loud as you would expect for living in a lower-level apartment. Joe is very quick to respond to questions, which reduces any issues that might come up. I had some problem with the WiFi, and Joe replied quickly to help me troubleshoot the issue. Overall a smooth experience.

We stayed in Casita 1 for two nights and couldn't have been happier. The location was really good. The MacArthur BART station was about 3 blocks away and the AC Transit 57 line provided 15-minutely service from across the street to the Oakland Museum, Chinatown, Lake Merritt, the Grand Lake Theatre, and even more places by transferring. We walked around the neighborhood during the day and from the bus stop around 10pm and felt safe. The directions to check in were very clear and easy to follow. The Casita itself was even better than in the pictures. The colors, textures, and design were beautiful and stylish enough to be in a magazine, but also very cozy and welcoming. We also really appreciated the special touches that put this accomodation over the top. Disposable slippers? Yes! A variety of cool drinks to welcome you? Yes! Mouthwash? Yes! Nespresso and pods? Yes! Earplugs? Yes. Liquid cream for afternoon tea? Yes! I could go on, but you get it. We would definitely stay again.

I have nothing but good things to say about Heidi's place. I stayed here for all of February and found it quite accommodating for the length of my stay. The bed is quite comfortable and the bathtub was a great addition. This place gets great light, with a lovely outdoor porch, conveniently located near Lake Merritt. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at Jonathan’s place. Close to the BART and freeway. Quiet neighborhood and liked that it was at the end of a cul de sac. The garage was very convenient. The space was perfect for our family. Would return in the future.

I stayed here for a month and it was great, I highly recommend! As described and seen in the pictures. Annie was helpful and ensured I had everything I needed. I think this apartment is perfect for 1-2 people with a child or small/medium-sized pet. Clean and cozy with nice, warm lighting. The bed was comfy, kitchen was small but well-equipped, living room was roomy with a medium-sized couch, and bathroom more than sufficient. I loved relaxing on the deck as well! The neighborhood is hilly and beautiful, close to bus/ferry/restaurants/stores. Touristy downtown, but not as much in the immediate vicinity. I walked A LOT with my dog and enjoyed it, but the hills can be steep! Definitely a very safe area. The only “con” is, in my opinion, it’s just a bit expensive for the size. However, I understand it’s in a pretty wealthy neighborhood and am sure Airbnb fees/taxes account for a decent part of the cost. Suffice to say, this is a once-in-a-long-while stay for me. Hopefully that’s fair.

Overall House is worth for paid money > (1)we really enjoying the nice surrounding around the house, canoe rowing, photos talking from Pier as well as from the parked yacht that even do party / celebration inside the Boat.. (2) Great photos with sea & lake background around the house.

Could not have been a more perfect place for a girls weekend in Napa! House was extremely clean. Easy to communicate with the host. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent place for families, spacious and very roomie. We were looking for a nice place for a chill stay cation away from home where our kids can enjoy the outdoors and have fun in the sun, while having a blast in a pool and this place offered that and much more. we would definitely stay here again and recommend 10/10.

My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

Absolutely perfect place for our family and kiddos! It was above and beyond expectations. And Scott was a super host. Thank you so much for helping us build magical memories with friends and family.

Our stay was fantastic—peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. The host was very communicative and provided clear instructions well in advance, making check-in a breeze. Everything listed in the amenities was provided, and the hot tub was easy to use and already heated upon arrival, which was a nice touch. We even had some wildlife visitors, adding to the serene atmosphere. While it’s a little outside the city, the tranquility and nature make it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.
