Nevada County : locations de vacances avec petit déjeuner

Diane's glamper (is that a word??) is a wonderful place to stay and Diane is such a great host! Some reviewers felt like the camper was cramped, but for a recreational vehicle we found it to be quite spacious. There are 3 distinct areas: the dining area has large table/booth with bench seats on both sides, the kitchen is in the middle with a decent sized sink, an apartment sized stove/oven, and the bedroom was cozy, comfortable and had a wooden sliding door for privacy. We found it to be very comfortable for two. The vintage refrigerator/icebox worked really well, even in 100-degree weather. Diane was great about making sure we had plenty of big chunks of ice, and everything was kept cool. The bathroom/shower set up really was quite nice. She was such a thoughtful host! She recommended a visit to the South Yuba River, 10 min away, and it was the most beautiful swimming hole we had ever seen! She recommended restaurants in town that were wonderful, and an easy walk.

Had a wonderful 2 nights at Jennifer & Adam's beautiful cabin. We booked last minute so we could head to Tahoe to enjoy an incoming snow storm. Adam reached out directly within 30 minutes of making the booking request. He made sure I was all squared away for a late night arrival to the cabin. Upon arrival to the cabin it was easy to access and the instructions to get situated were straightforward. The cabin is absolutely beautiful with a rustic cozy mountain cabin vibe with high quality amenities and features. The cathedral ceilings with entire front wall of windows is just stunning. The living room furniture is super comfortable and we spent most the day under the plush blankets watching it snow. The wood burning stove is such a nice touch to keep the place toasty warm while enhancing the cozy vibe. Kitchen is one the best stocked we have experienced in all our cabin rentals. Bathrooms, hot tub and everything else was clean and well stocked. We will certainly return.

Lovely house with beautiful garden and outside seating. Nice size kitchen with all necessary equipment. Quiet street in Colfax. Felt right at home.

Lynne and Sandy will welcome warmly with their 3 sweet dogs. Another guest staying in the cabin next door had 2 dogs, so there were more dogs than what I expected, but it was all fine as my little dog, Sandie was at ease. All the dogs were chill and relaxed– which says a lot about their owners. Lynne is the epitome of a gracious hostess. It is clear she takes great care to make her guests feel comfortable and at home. She even took the time to print out some info on local trails for us to check out nearby which we did! We saw a covered bridge, lots of wildflowers and butterflies! There are anumber of towns nearby with plenty of shops and a few dog friendly gastropubs. We went to the Thirsty Barrel and they made a burger for Sandie served in a dog bowl. If you just need a quiet place to unplug, commune with Nature, unwind, eat some good food with your furry friend in the embrace of the Sierra Nevada redwoods, then this is your perfect little retreat, it definitely was mine!

Our stay was wonderful! Very peaceful and secluded, but still close enough for us to do things in town. Landscape was a great. Host was very nice and attentive. We had a great stay!

Our stay at this home was absolutely perfect for us! It was a little getaway into nature, and the spot couldn’t have been better. We even saw a deer right next to the window, which made the experience even more magical. Salim was incredibly kind and thoughtful—he even brought us local pastries and bread that were absolutely delicious! His hospitality made our stay even more special. Would 10/10 recommend and would love to come back!

The yard was the real gem for us— hours of outdoor play right outside the door. We arrived to fresh snow and got more! It is as magical as it gets for beauty and fun playing outdoors. Inside the cabin, the kitchen is clean and spacious so’s easy to cook in. The collection of dvds was fun for parents and kids to relax. This is a perfect quiet getaway retreat! We will repeat!
