This place is a gem! Very cozy and cute. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Great location with easy walking to the lake as well as local shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Northstar Resort! The location was extremely convenient—nestled at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by towering pines, offering plenty of privacy while still being just minutes from the ski resort. The convenience of the free shuttle service was a game-changer! It picked us up right at the front door and took us directly to the village and ski slopes in just a few minutes. Inside, the home was incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. We also appreciated the washer/dryer, large flat-screen TV with Apple TV, and all the thoughtful touches that made the space feel luxurious. On top of all that, the host was extremely easy to communicate with and very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a seamless and enjoyable stay. Overall, this home is perfect for families couples, or small groups looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway in Northstar. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great & very fun stay, and Laurel was very responsive. We were there to ski, and the Mountaineer shuttle service was really great! The deck and hot tub offered great views...and the house was very close to Palisades! As another renter commented...of the three bedrooms downstairs, you do need to go thru one bedroom to get to the other...this should perhaps be made more clear in the listing comments. If/when back at Palisades, we'll certainly consider this listing again!

Nice home in a perfect location. 5 minute walk to Tahoe Donner lifts. Yucheng was the friendliest and most proactive host I have worked with. My family plans to stay here next year when we come again.

Great location in Carnelian Bay overlooking the lake. Nice house with well stocked kitchen and amenities. Close to many Lake Tahoe destinations and host was very proactive in communication. Would recommend staying here and had a great time! Look forward to future trips.

We had such a great stay here with family and friends over the weekend! The cabin was beautiful, in a great location, and the host was super friendly and responsive. One thing that really stood out was how well-stocked everything was, which isn’t something we’ve typically seen at other Airbnbs. The kitchen had everything we needed, from pots and pans to coffee machines, spices, and seasonings, which was perfect since we did a lot of cooking. Just a heads-up if you’re a coffee person: they provide the machines but not the coffee, so be sure to bring your own! The place was also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus. We loved that there were tons of games, activities, and even outdoor gear to keep everyone entertained. You can tell the host really cares about the guest experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and it is the only place our family of 6 and the family dog will stay. They are very responsive to any questions or concerns and reply in a timely fashion. I appreciate the flexibility of check in and check out. They have been wonderful hosts!

Although I did not stay here personally, my group of about 8 ladies absolutely LOVED this space! The host was friendly and responsive from start to finish. The feedback I received was that the space was beautiful and huge! It surpassed everyones expectation :) 10/10

The condo cannot be better location wise - literally a couple minutes walk to the Tahoe Donner ski lifts. The space was also well sized for our needs (2x adults, 2x kids), the heater worked very well and the kitchen had the essentials. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting for the winter ski season and otherwise.

This is our favorite place to stay in the wintertime at Tahoe Donner! It is walking distance to the downhill ski area which is a perfect place for kids learning to ski. The condo is comfortable, well-appointed and clean.

Our family of four had a wonderful visit. There were so many activities for our two sons (3 and 5yrs) to take advantage of. Activity room, free private movie theater, free game rentals, arcade, foosball table, ice rink, gondola up to the Ritz, ice cream social… we didn’t even ski, but had a great time playing in the snow! It was also nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. Jerry was a great host and we will definitely be back again!

We loved staying here. It was extremely comfortable. One of us even stayed home from skiing for the day to relax and enjoy the peaceful area and outdoor views. We also love the shoes-off policy: it makes us feel right at home and shows in the overall cleanliness. we are definitely bookmarking this place for future trips, maybe even in the summer!

We had a great stay- the house was nicer than expected. We were very comfortable with 3 adults and 2 kids. The house was very clean when we arrived- probably the cleanest AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at. The house was really unique and my kids enjoyed exploring. We had great views of Donner Ski Ranch and Sugarbowl. I loved having a large kitchen and baths and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, with nice appliances, pots, etc. While there were a lot of instructions, I appreciate knowing how everything works and how to care for the house we’re in so we don’t break anything. I found that the details in the instructions made it seem like more to do at first glance, but checkout actually had fewer tasks than most houses we stay in when in Tahoe. The hot tub was a nice extra and super clean. We also appreciated being able to keep our car and skis in the garage and then ski right from the side of the house to Chairlift 4 at Donner. Overall it was convenient and fun!

Natalie went above and beyond making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in the front door. She is a great communicator and a pleasure to work with.

Marina's place was perfect for our family for a snow weekend. House was lovely, comfortable, well stocked, excellently maintained (unlike many Airbnb we have stayed in!), and just generally wonderful. The bedding was so comfortable my daughter is insisting we buy the same soft blankets for home! Perfect location for us, walkable to Royal Gorge and very close to Sugar Bowl and Donner Ski Ranch where we like to ski. Marina was super responsive when we had minor questions. Overall, highly recommend! Only downside for us was the driveway which is quite narrow and wasn't plowed while we were there so required some digging and tricky backing in, but within reason for a snow weekend. Just a word of advice to others to expect it. Thanks Marina!

We had a fantastic stay! The condo is quiet, spacious, and comfortable, with high-end appliances including TVs, a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a smart thermostat, and a smart lock on the front door. It's also one of the closest Silver Strike units to the Northstar Village—less than a 5-minute walk—and you can ski right back to the unit. Highly recommend!

It was nice to have a 3 car garage to keep gear in. Particularly useful are the ski racks on the wall and the high Amperage heater in the garage. Keeps the gear dry after a day skiing. This house is just a couple of minutes by shuttle to the Palisades Base Lodge. You're guaranteed first chair if you get up and go get it! The circular fireplace is decadent and provides warmth and beauty. This is a great place for the real Tahoe Feel! I would return again for sure.

Not to take the easy way out and just say ditto, ditto, ditto, to all the great reviews below, but it was was exactly so, awesome! Scott was a great host with all communication, including the booking, check-in and departure routines, a class act all the way. The property was just as portrayed in every way and made a great base camp for our family snowmobiling adventure. It's a classic cabin with tasteful and thoughtful updates, roomy, well laid out and clean as a whistle. The wood-burning fireplace is a nice touch. No concerns and no regrets whatsoever, our stay couldn't have been better.

Shannon’s place was fantastic and has everything you could need for an effortless stay! She has a fully stocked kitchen so it’s easy to cook meals if you’re interested. There were also plenty of games available which we enjoyed playing during the weekend. The house is situated in a spot with a beautiful lake view and close to the town center as well as easily accessible to palisades. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This cabin was perfect for our family. Kids enjoyed snow play right outside back of the patio. Scenic views that's postcard worthy.

Love Neals place, so serene, literally! The three bed was great for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the road the home is on is so sweet. In the winter, be prepared for snow for the ski bunnies! Soda springs is at the highest elevation… We came looking for snow and found it. I bet the lake in the summer is gorgeous too. Thank you Neal!
